HOPE THAT IS WAS NOT BUT HAPPY THAT IT IS

What a super Cute Drama I have seen this year, seeing this drama suddenly made me feel like it was really really nice to be young where all you have to think about is your assignment, your grades and how will you hang out with your friends and off course your puppy love !
Noh And Phun , these kids are really nice to see having fluffy puppy love with each other , it was really good, everything here was easy to digest and made me feel of wanting more of them. The reason why I said at the headline is like that because , these kids are so so good looking and it would also be really nice if they are in love with a girl , like of Noh and Yuri, they would really make a good couple ! it was good that Noh loved Phun but Yuri also !
The family of Noh was really everyones dream family, a cute parents specially that Dad ! and a supportive at the same time and 2 funny and cute ladyboys ! .. that was really the reason why Noh was super adored by everyone , and all the characters smells like a baby powder even with just looking at the screen and it is understandable that their acting was not that really good ,but believe me we cannot do what they did
Maybe the only thing I have seen that maybe not good at this drama was when the characters talk back with their parents, that probably might misunderstood by many young generations, it is really good to do what we want and we want to tell our parents about it but it is also good to respect our parents who brought us to life in this world.
It was a good watch that's all I can say, sad Noh and Phun did not kiss while Earn Kissed Noh accidentally, I felt like are they playing with us ? hAHHAHA I can never really stop wondering why .. is it because of age ? if so Why did earn and Noh kissed ? and kissing at the glass door .. these guys are joking HAHHAAH. but yeah still a good watch, so many good looking confused kids . I am happy that it is but I hope it was not

Oh my god.

I'd rewatch this 100 times. And then 100 times after that. And then just to be same another 3.

The characters are so loveable and the conflicts feel so human it is honestly such a breath of fresh air. Don't get me wrong, I love my ridiculously far-fetched unrealistic K-drama's just as much as the next person, but it was so comforting to watch this show and just have it be so normal. The main couple had me SOBBING. They were just so darn cute! Usually when the plotline is 'Rich man' and 'Poor woman' I end up getting pissed off at how weak they make the woman out to be, but Do-yeon's character was so strong and resilient, she was my absolute favourite! She values her family and does her absolute best, I just have to love and respect the work she puts in! I have absolutely no complaints, and I'll be rewatching this for years to come.

Like okay.

Loved season 1 so I was really excited to hear a season 2 was releasing! And well, I'm less excited for a season 3. The plot started good, I loved the first episode. I thought it was really interesting to see how Gi-hun was after the first seasons events, and I really loved Gong-yoo's character. Like he's so much more unhinged this season, it was awesome. I won't lie, the boat plotline bored me a little. Like i'd sigh a bit every time we switched over to that. I get that it was important to the overall storyline, but it just felt as though there was nothing actually happening, until the very end. I was happy that there were different games than last season, and the characters were great! I really thought the acting was far better this season! It just all felt really incomplete by the end. I mean obviously it's setting up for a third season, but nothing really came full circle at all. It was all just kind of heated chaos by the end. Pointless violence, deaths that dragged on a bit in the end. Gi-hun was killing me with how trusting he was as well. I thought maybe after player 001 from last season, he'd be a bit less gullible. Overall it wasn't a bad watch, I'll still watch season 3 when it comes out. Acting and budget wise, it's a great step up from last season. Jo yuri and Im siwan so! Can't really complain xx

Enemies to.....Almost Lovers?

This show was honestly way better than I expected. When I initially watched the trailer, I didn't have much interest in a show that seemed to be about high schoolers fighting each other. However, this show was so much more enjoyable than I thought. While the beginning was kind of slow and missing the backstory for awhile, once it picked up it was fantastic. The chemistry between the main leads had me confused about whether or not this was BL (it's not) for the entire time.

When two rival schools merge into once, the students have a hard time getting along. This is especially true for the students of class 2, who are all the known troublemakers from both schools. With a brand new homeroom teacher who seems unable to control the class, the students' rivalry gets out of hand. Shin (Nani) used to be top dog at his school, but with the merge it seems he's competing with Ken's (Kay) gang for that spot. Saint (Sky) seems to always be getting in the way, as he's determined to rekindle his friendship with Shin even though Shin has made it clear he's not interested. Old problems in their past friendship resurface as tension continues to build between the students - and their business with a local drug dealing gang.

Sky and Nani were FANTASTIC together. While I may have been hoping for a kiss, the "bromance" of the series was still super great to watch. I did feel like they could have sped up some of the plot in the first couple episodes, but as I approached the end, this series just got better and better. I'm super excited to see what Sky and Nani do next!!

Meu instinto é maravilhoso

Quando meu instinto diz que não vou gostar de algo é muito certeiro. E realmente não vi nada para curtir aqui, pois é só um drama sobre matar pessoas aleatoriamente e para o entretenimento.

Gi Hun é um homem imprestável: um péssimo pai, marido e filho. Não é capaz de lembrar o aniversário da filha e deixa a mãe sofrer com dores nos pés a ponto de precisar amputar. Então quando ele vira o n° 456 foi impossível para mim sentir compaixão por ele, ou até mesmo achar que ele sentia pena de alguém ali nos jogos como tentaram me convencer; por exemplo, quando ele reencontra o amigo de infância ou se afeiçoa ao velhinho (n° 1), que ele trai logo em seguida, diga-se de passagem.

Eu queria saber quem era o idiota que criou os jogos e o motivo disso. Acho que no final aibda fiquei sem saber. Tráfico de órgãos? Irmão que jogou e endoidou (no caso o irmão do policial que era o cara da máscara preta)? Sei lá, e sinceramente não fiz muito esforço em compreender.

Queria muito ter gostado, pois sou uma grande fã de distopia. Jogos Vorazes principalmente, e que deixa um legado aí de protagonista maravilhosa e que tem um propósito.

Aqui tbm tem xenobobia, que não foi mais declarada pq era pra netflix com o personagem Ali Abdul, outro "fraco" sendo passado pra trás pelo Sang U (n° 218), a única pessoa ali que não fingia que era péssima.

As minhas personagens favoritas foram as maravilhosas: Mi Neyo (n° 212) que era fraca nos sentimentos, usou sexo como moeda de troca, mas no fim cumpriu o que prometeu: ferrou a vida de um macho escroto. E a norte-coreana Sae Byeok (n° 67), deu a vida no jogo, tinha uma história de luta na vida e ainda conseguiu fazer uma amiga. Foram as que salvaram no quesito de enredo/plot.

Round 6 é um drama coreano que fala sobre a ganância desenfreada. Foi isso que entendi um pouco, o cara lá gostava de brincar com a ganância dos fracos que estavam muito fodidos na vida. Então fica a lição: cuidado com o que deseja hehe

Eu juro que tentei ver algo de bom! E ainda fui perguntar a uma amiga que viu, e ela me disse algo esclarecedor: "ninguém falou muito dos personagens, só da matança". Em resumo é isso: um elenco bom, roteiro péssimo e muita morte sem sentido. Agora entendo pq os coreanos não gostaram desse drama quando lançou, estavam certíssimos.

Very Entertaining and GREAT acting from full cast

As someone who has actually not watched Squid game s1... I really enjoyed season 2. It was fun!
Sung Hoon aka Hyeon Ju was the AMAZING. Best acting and powerful character!!!
Thanos was overall my favorite. I hope T.O.P gets more acting projects. ❤️
You can slowly see Gi Hun lose his sanity in the season, leading him to ultimately leave his humanity in the final episode. He wanted to 'win' against the front man and beat the game more than just saving lives. In Ho's realization seeing it... felt like he won. He broke Gi Hun that instant.
I really loved In Ho... the best villain ever! He's so sweet, handsome and charming as 001... his bond with every player close to him was endearing, even if it was fake. His smile is melting my heart. His friendship with Gi Hun was the best. Only we was viewers know he is OBSESSED with Gi Hun at this point... his eyes study Gi Huns every movement. The whole psychological aspect was great.
Grandmother and son were great. I liked seeing grama's bond with the women. I also realised her flaw - she lies to herself about her sons faults... it is sad.
I actually want 222 to die in S3... let it not be cliché.
Min Su is gonna lose his goddamn mind and go beserk in S3... he will one of the most deadly. You can tell from the signs.
I want dad to survive. It would be nice if dad and guard have a love storyline in S3 or dad and Hyeon Ju love story... I see the potential very clearly... hopefully the writers see it too.
Si Wan aka 333 and Dae Ho 388 got no business looking so fine. Semi was also very very fine. I really loved them.
Bro... WHY WAS THAT GUARD SO HANDSOME?! and why did he have to die?! He's tooo freaking hot like whyyyyy 🥲
I liked this season overall and looking forward to next season! :)

What was happening

Okay ngl I started the first episode and left it for like a month cause it started really slow and uninteresting. The first episode didn't really have me rooting for any of the characters so it was hard to get invested. Then after a solid 10 Hyunwoo tiktok edits, i decided to give it another go, and im so glad i did. dont get me wrong, the plot is crazy. Genuine hot mess. Like something new is happening each minute, i was seriously stressed out the whole time. But it ended up being super interesting, and i sobbed like a baby by the end of it. Its not the best ive watched, but give it a go if you have the time. u'll want to pull ur hair out but the cutesy family dynamics and batshit INSANE plotlines will keep u hooked. one of my 2024 favs!

This GL series has a strong premise, but as episode 4 happened, it started to become silly with a jealously trope between the main characters and the supporting characters, especially when these are grown adults who used insults and water to show their hatred for each other. However, I liked the miscommunication between the two women because every relationship has problems with the lack of communication, showing what it means to care for each other and sacrifice for their own happiness. It's weird that Earn's character is more likeable than the one in Blank, where Neung is pursuing Ar-Neung, refusing to stop like here with Earn and Fahlada, maybe because their ages is the big difference in this despite Fahlada and Earn with a 6 year age gap compared to a 16 year age gap in Blank.

I also really like the guy Tan in this series. I don't see enough male characters who strongly support their main female characters, and I hope there is more media portrayal between men and women who are platonic.

The chemistry was okay to me, some parts of the acting was good here and there. I do feel like the story deserved to be more fleshed out and longer because some GL series are 12 episodes long versus this one to be 8 episodes.

SQUID GAME (2021-2025) is a dark, twisted and thrilling kdrama about poor people who find themselves in financially horrible and hopeless circumstances, by means of debt, scams, gambling, and bad life choices etc. and are each invited to a mysterious challenge to participate in children’s games for large ammouts of money. Prepare to be thrilled and disturbed.

This series is visually appealing, and exciting. The concept is a bit twisted but very compelling as well. The sets, costumes and effects were all next level.

A mysterious organization invites the most down and out people to something called The Squid Games, a twisted spin on children's games, where desperate adults can participate to win a huge cash prize and hopefully have a second chance in life, but not everyone can make it out alive.

"Hundreds of cash-strapped players accept a strange invitation to compete in children's games. Inside, a tempting prize awaits with deadly high stakes: a survival game that has a whopping 45.6 billion-won prize at stake."

Overall, "Squid Game" was a violent yet philosophical series, that thrills as much as it makes one contemplate. It ask some very deep questions such as the value of human life, the nature of poverty, the goodness of humanity. This show is exceptional yet extremely violent. Not for the faint of heart or stomachs. A great watch!

Cute Contract Show

BUSINESS PROPOSAL (2022) is a Korean romance drama. It is heart warming story about two unlikely characters who find love, but the friendships in this show were some of the sweetest kdrama portrayals, and although the family relationships often took back burner, the family dynamics were sweet as well.

This show was a romantic drama, but is often very funny and laughable. Some of the side characters are very colorful and enjoyable, especially Ha-ri's bestie and coworkers.

While at times this series does have some controversial aspects with regards to female treatment by males, it's not something viewers won't expect or find too extreme either, though I did lower my rating a bit.

"In disguise as her friend, Ha-ri shows up to a blind date to scare him away. But plans go awry when he turns out to be her CEO - and makes a proposal."

Overall, this is a touching, heart-warming show that is also very short (only 12 episodes) compared to the usual 16-25. Definitely worth a watch for fans of romance and kdrama.

History & Romance

ROOKIE HISTORIAN GOO HAE-RYUNG (2019) is a really funny and touching Kdrama about a female historian and male romance novelist that both face gender discrimination. I watched this series with my father and it delivered a lot of laughs.

"Set in 19th-century Korea, a female historian faces gender discrimination but perseveres. She gets entangled with Prince Lee Rim, blurring lines between duty and personal involvement."

Overall, this series was surprisingly meaningful and shockingly good. It was really funny, sweet and compelling. The cast, costumes, sets and aesthetics were really great. Very watchable kdrama for sure.

Me hubiera gustado que Soomin tuviera mas relevancia

No se que pensar muy bien de esto, ya que la idea se me hace sumamente buena pero un tanto desperdiciada aunque al menos fue algo entretenida de ver.

Aunque creo que el mayor problema que vi al darme cuenta de las categorías que tiene esta novela es que es categoría comedia, ¿Comedia? ¿En serio? No recuerdo haberme reído en el 98% de lo que fue esto, solo me rei un 2% y eso fue cuando salio la propuesta de matrimonio fallida y cuando estan en su etapa de padres de dos gemelos, pero no fue una risa de que vi lo mas gracioso del mundo, fue una risa de "si, definitivamente esto iba a pasar" pero de ahi en mas, comedia como tal no me parece, me recuerda a cuando buscas Not Me en google y te sale serie de comedia pero en ningún momento te ríes viendo Not Me, y si alguien se rio viendo Not Me debería ser llevado a terapia.

En realidad quiero hablar del titulo de esta reseña, asi es, Soomin, no se si es algo que hicieron los guionistas o si vienen de la novela web en la que esta basado esto, pero admito que me encanto la personalidad que tiene el personaje una vez que la analizas a nivel psicológico. No se, pero se me hizo tan fascinante ver como a nivel psicológico Soomin tiene tanta profundidad, tantos detalles que la hacen ver como que investigaron cuestiones psicológicas para hacerla que se me hace horrible y un desperdicio como la dejaron de lado a medida que avanzaba la serie solo porque se les ocurrio meter a otra villana que nos chupa un huevo en vez de profundizar más en las cosas que Soomin pudo hacer de villana; esta completamente enferma mentalmente que desperdiciaron lo que pudo ser una gran villana con estas características, el tipo de personalidad que tiene daba para que cuando se entero de que realmente se quedo con la basura que es Minhwan explote y haga cosas realmente malas, era muy seguro que con el enfoque adecuado, la relevancia necesaria y los recursos que tuvo el pendejo de Minhwan (ósea hacerla sentir importante en algo como esto) pudo habernos dado a Soomin manipulando a todo el mundo, haciendose ver como la victima una vez mas cosa que ahora la tendría mas fácil debido al cambio de actitud drástico que tuvo Jiwon, realmente siento que desperdiciaron a una gran villana que pudo ser aun mejor por los problemas psicologicos que claramente tiene.

Eso y que encima no le dieron la importancia que le dieron en parte a Minhwan cuando a no ser que sean tan idiota como la protagonista, era obvio que el detonante siempre fue Soomin, no Minhwan, si Soomin no provocaba a Jiwon esta no le hubiera pegado por ende Minhwan no la empujaba y es por eso que Jiwon no hubiera muerto, era obvio que Soomin era la causa y como vengo diciendo, que desperdicio de villana.

El personaje de Oh Yura realmente esta para justificar porque Jihyuk no se muere, pero pudieron hacerlo mucho mejor sin necesidad de meterla aqui porque le quita peso a personajes que pudieron ser mucho mejores que ella.

Hablando de Jihyuk, cada vez hacen personajes masculinos en los kdramas peores que el anterior, realmente no saben escribir un buen interés amoroso y no es que Jihyuk sea malo, es que como siempre no les dan otra personalidad mas que ser casualmente el heredero de alguna cosa importante y ya, en este caso me enoja porque lo poco de personalidad que se le nota tiene no lo desarrollaron del todo lo cual es triste porque se nota que esos rasgos lo daban para que sea top mejores interés amorosos o tal vez soy yo sobre analizando personajes sin profundidad.

De la protagonista solo diré que es muy aburrida, muy vende humo ya que dice que en esta nueva oportunidad va a ser diferente y es la misma mierda pero con ropa de marca. Que hablando de los cambios de look, ¿Cuándo dejaremos de quitarle los lentes que hacen que los personajes se vean sumamente atractivos solo por sus huevos? Sigo enojada porque Jihyuk no volvió a usar lentes que le quedaban increíbles solo porque en sus estándares de mierda los lentes te hacen "feo" . Para finalizar de hablar de Jihyuk, he de decir que el actor aquí se parece mucho a Jaehyun de NCT y eso me daba risa porque me hizo pensar en que su álbum debut quedaría con este personaje, eso y que cada que lo veía en pantalla sonaba Dandelion en mi mente.
