Joo Ji Hoon and Han So Hee both confirmed to lead the upcoming Wavve movie "Gentleman"
Wavve announced on July 15th that for their upcoming action crime film "Gentleman," they have picked Joo Ji Hoon and Han So Hee to be the main leads. The production will begin filming this coming August and the movie is set to be out in May 2022. It will reportedly be released in both theatres and OTT platform, Wavve.
"Gentleman" will revolve around Ji Hyun Soo and his journey in clearing his name of the charge of murder and Kim Hwa Jin who's a hotshot prosecutor that can clear a victim's false charge within a week.
Joo Ji Hoon will play the role of Ji Hyun Soo, the president of Heungshin Cultural Center. He was embroiled in a huge incident and suddenly became the murderer. Han So Hee on the other hand will play as an elite prosecutor named Kim Hwa Jin.
"Gentleman" will be helmed by rookie director Kim Kyung Won who made himself known with the movie "Artist: Born Again." Trickster and H& Entertainment will produce the upcoming movie.
Meanwhile, this movie will be the first film invested by Wavve Film Investment Fund. The platform aims to release one movie every month through Wavve starting with "Gentleman."
Prior to the film’s release, Joo Ji Hoon will star in the upcoming tvN drama "Cliffhanger" with Jun Ji Hyun. He will make an appearance in upcoming movies namely "Along with the Gods 3," "Silence," and "Along with the Gods 4."
Han So Hee can be seen in the ongoing JTBC drama "Nevertheless," with Song Kang. She will also lead the upcoming dramas "Hard Creature" with Park Seo Joon and "My Name" with Ahn Bo Hyun.
