Krystal Jung and Shin Seung Ho will reportedly star in the upcoming movie titled Audition 109.
On January 3, media outlets reported that Krystal Jung and Shin Seung Ho will lead the upcoming film Audition 109, which will be actor Jung Woo's first directorial film.
Audition 109 will serve as a sequel to the 2009 film Wish. The film starred Jung Woo, who will now direct the sequel. It showcases the main character's journey of love, friendship, and self-discovery as he navigates life in Seoul.
Krystal Jung got the offer to portray the role of Jung Woo's character Jjang Goo's girlfriend while Shin Seung Ho will reportedly portray the role of Jjang Goo's best friend.
Jung Woo will reprise his role and Krystal Jung and Shin Seung Ho will reportedly join him as main leads.
Jung Woo will direct the film together with director Oh Sung Ho. The upcoming film will be produced by Fan Entertainment and Perfect Storm.
There is no confirmation yet on the release date of the upcoming movie Audition 109.
This will possibly be the return of Krystal Jung to the big screen. The idol actress last starred in the 2023 film Cobweb with Song Kang Ho, Lim Soo Jung, Oh Jung Se, Jeon Yeo Been, and Park Jung Soo.
Krystal Jung is known for being part of the works Sweet & Sour, Crazy Love, Police University, Player, Prison Playbook, and more.
Meanwhile, this will possibly be the fourth upcoming film of Shin Seung Ho. The actor will also star in Omniscient Reader: The Prophet, Only God Knows Everything, and New Generation War: Reawakened Man.
Last year, Shin Seung Ho starred in the film Pilot with Jo Jung Suk, Lee Joo Myung, Han Sun Hwa, Kim Ji Hyun, and Oh Min Ae.
