Bad acting. Bad casting.

I just couldn't push myself to watch more than 7 episodes.

Bad acting. Not believable. It looked like amateurs. The script didn't help to make it credible either.

I am not sure what to say positive. I was attracted to something different with the FL but I didn't like her constant low esteem. Plus her high-pitched childish voice was annoying. Both MLs were over-the-top acting. Most actors weren't credible either. I specifically abhor the maids who intrude all the time It is so ridiculous to think maids were allowed to speak up..

I jumped to the last episode as sometimes season 2 is better and if the epilogue is satisfactory, I generally put effort into watching the drama. But it was sad and even the happy ending was just bland.

Pity. I really wanted to like this drama. A pass for me.

Brilliant romantic comedy

This story of a woman going back in time to ‘solve’ her present life, including her contentious relationship with her boss, is so well made and cleverly written. It brings together all of the best romantic tropes of office romance and college drama but delivers them in surprising and delightful ways. It has huge emotional moments mixed with a lot of laughs. Our heroine is smart, kind and determined (sometimes ruthless) whilst our hero is upright, devoted and shrewd. I’m only at episode 14 but I can’t wait to see how they reconcile the changes she’s experiencing once she returns to the present. I’m loving this drama!

A Flute, A Zombie, An Apple, and An Ass

I don't want to stir the pot on this drama, since it's considered by many to be the best drama ever made. However, I do want to talk about a few things that I liked, and a few things that bothered me.

Firstly, I only needed to watch the first two episodes to know exactly what this drama was going to be about, that's why I had to drop it. The very first scene has the most outrageously bad CGI, and I could have told you the entire plot of the drama from the first scene alone, which is something that really bothers me, but I'll go further into that shortly.

So, now that the characters have revealed their roles in the story, and we know the main protagonist was wronged and this whole scene was him seeking revenge through the crappiest CGI ever, then the story begins from the end, and suddenly, we are shown some of the best and most artistic "big-budget" cinematography I've seen in a Chinese drama. The unevenness of these two factors kind of threw me off.

In the span of the first two episodes, we learn exactly what happened to the main character 16 years ago. Firstly, the main character is presented to us as an eccentric genius with sociopathic tendencies. Right away, we can tell that he has been wrongly accused of harming a female character that he knew 16 years ago. The other characters literally feed us every bit of information we might need in order to piece together what has already transpired. My issue is, why the heck do I want to invest my time in watching so many episodes to get the details of what happened, and how he was obviously framed for a crime he didn't commit 16 years earlier? I don't care how things really happened, since I already know how they will end.

I had the same issue with Ancient Detective, as right in the middle of the drama, they go back in time to reveal how it all began. I don't really care how things began if I already know so much about the end result. Maybe that's my own personal failing. I don't mind a subtle hint (not like the very first scene) at the very beginning, but not a full expose within the first two episodes, followed by an entire series of episodes on how everything started. I also dislike prequels for this same reason.

Anyway, this is my issue with watching this drama. The main character is interesting and all, but I don't find watching a cackling, effeminate man who has clearly lost his mind a huge draw, personally.

I think that a lot of the hype behind this drama has to do with the gay and effeminate aspect of it. BL is kind of gay exploitation, and I'm not really into making homosexuality into an entertainment gimmick.

my first impression

I started watching this for their chemistryy cuz they have insane chemistry but everything they do is so natural especially forts acting is so natural like he suits mahasamuts character i cant imagine anyone else doing that character he's just so perfectt peats doing greatt too I'm very happy with how its going I'm slightly disappointed there isn't anything surprising cuz there's a lot in the trailer so it makes u feel like u already know whats going to happen when ur watching but its just the first episode so its impossible to judge and its not the type of series that requires u to use ur brain and be invested in it its very cute, fun and easy going especially bcoz there's a lot bl dramas with intense storyline and action scenes these days so this is smtg to bring u some positive energy to. Eveyone thinking to watch this i would suggest u do and even if u don't like the plot or smtg their chemistry will just pull u in to watch.

I’m perplexed?!

Spoiler Alert!!!

I just finished watching the first season and was excited to watch the second. Well I’m watching first episode of season 2 and it doesn’t make sense. It starts with them getting married (so far so good). But then Chai Xiaoqi gets taken back to home planet because she committed the crime of marrying off-species (no confusion yet).

They decide to give her a second chance to redeem herself as Fang Leng successfully mass produced that hormone inducing perfume from season one. So they brainwash her, change her memories to think of Fang Leng as the enemy and send her on a mission to steal the formula for that hormone perfume because it could be used as a secret weapon against them.

So she’s back but once again Fang Leng doesn’t know who she is?! More perplexing, no one remembers her or the wedding ceremony from the first scene of episode 1?! Just WTH is going on?!

Ok so the reason no one remembers is that somehow Chai Xiaoqi went back in time to a year before they met (2018 instead of 2022 when they got married). But ok fine, that doesn’t explain how Fang Leng is immune from her alien powers. In season one, the reason for it was that he had the “annunciation” inside his body, but now we’re in a time period when that incident didn’t happen so he shouldn’t be immune to her abilities like he was in season 1. So yeah, I’m going to try and see a few more episodes, but the inconsistencies are getting to me. I thought just some of the casting changes (Like Fang’s dad and Mr Han) was enough to put me off, but his place of residence and the restaurant she used to work at are also different and just taking me out of my suspension of belief to truly enjoy this show

Ep1: Tae Gyeong is introverted boy who have no friend in his school and was not invited in his class group chat. One day during lunch time, Tae Gyeong homeroom teacher approaches him and give him an advice asking Tae Gyeong to do something he never do before, who know it would be great. When Tae Gyeong give it a thought about what his homeroom teacher said suddenly some one drop their dildo in front of Tae Gyeong. Tae Gyeong shout "hello you drop this". but Shin Woo didn't listen and and went away. Tae Gyeong chase after him, and accidentally twisted his feet and fall with Tae Gyeong hand poke Shin Woo ass with the dildo. This make Shin Woo embarrassing. Shin Woo said to Tae Gyeong don't dare come close to him and walk away. Tae Gyeong told himself " it's better to to far from this guy".

When Tae Gyeong about to leave, suddenly a ball flying and hit his head. Another guy (School president) come and asking him if he is alright. Tae Gyeong shock and hit the guy node, luckily it didn't bleed.

Narcissist personality disorder.

Thanks to the first review I read after I watched the episode, I just stopped watching!
I caught right away this Manipulative Perverse Narcissist behavior!
This is good to watch when you don't know how that works but for me, having been 16 years under a husband like that, I'm done!
I already saw she was a NPD after her reaction!! But had a doubt at first when he was waiting, she was late, and she told him she couldn't come then after she saw his face, sends him a text saying she was joking : typical NPD!!!
So if you don't want to see this because you are in such a relationship, don't even watch!
For me, after one episode, I'm done.

I struggled with this one because I really can’t stand the lead female character. I think she’s supposed to seem daring and confident but she’s actually pretty stupid, arrogant, and smug. When she charges straight towards trouble we’re supposed to swoon (like the male lead) over how straightforward and brave she is but it’s actually more like overconfidence and conceit. She does not stop to think about how much she endangers others and her confidence is sadly misplaced, given how often the male lead needs to rescue her.
p.s. It’s frustrating when a drama ostensibly about a strong woman actually undercuts the strong woman argument by having the male lead save her over and over again. Are we supposed to find that romantic? Adorable? ugh.

Interestingly themed drama... But what's up with the cast? If I'm not anxious to watch more of someone, then it's Non Chanon and Marina Sadanun (suffered enough with their previous roles). The only positive thing for Non Chanon, trying to look like a rapper (heh), would be to at least finally get a proper haircut. That could only do good to his overly feminine face, but no. And him wearing couple of braids (seriously) ponytailed on the top of his head, that "surprisingly" did not make him look cool, lol. Same with Marina Sadanun. That girl should be awarded a title of Miss Bland: there hardly was ever anything even remotely rememberable about her except it's repeated everywhere that she's a sister of one other actress (Margie), which after all is not important to me as a viewer. But I guess they need to repeat it because she doesn't resemble her at all and because there's nothing interesting about HER. When I watched her in opening credits, trying to move around and make "rap" gestures, I had to smirk.

First episode (it's 49 mins only) shows us little about the characters. There's the main rapper who looks lame (as he's portrayed by Non Chanon) but hates his dad so at least he's got something to rap about, his friend there just likes to chill but he is tense about becoming someone... Then there's schoolboy being bullied, but liking a girl who likes him back, but as a friend only... She wants to become famous, if he wants to hang out with her in the future, he'll have to become famous, too. This MIGHT work had the schoolboy actually be the younger version of the main rapper, at first I thought we were watching his past flashbacks which would explain his intense need to become famous, but no. So, we just watched a bundle of characters doing this and that. So far no major story.

I might give this a chance to see how it will develop in later episodes but I don't like the cast. And to continue a series, EITHER story or cast must engage me. Nearing the end of the episode Marina Sadanun started singing and I was like: Okay, enough NOW, lol.

Park Min Young is back!

Marry My Husband is a revenge driven drama with the female lead coming back to the past with her eyes opened to the fake relationships around her. The drama thought has Makjang plot lines strictly refuses to fall into that character. The fantasy element should make it unrealistic, but the behaviours and characters are so well fleshed out that one can imagine this to be the most sensible way to deal with what’s in front of you.

The story is fast past, the evil characters aren’t solely evil but have a multi dimensional personality And the chemistry is so good between them leads! It’s been a while since I watched a good PMY drama and this is definitely it. I don’t usually review until done, but this drama is exciting and makes me wait every week with anticipation even though I’ve read the webtoon.

The only negative part of the drama was yura for me, her scenes were almost unbearable to watch. Everything else was extremely well done!

Não acho legal fazer uma resenha de algo que assisti tão pouco, mas tenho que explicar a minha visão e o motivo de ter abandonado Memórias de Alhambra, então, essa resenha não será grande (pra se equivaler a minha pouca experiência que tive com a série).

Vou listar e explicar os motivos da minha desistência da série, bora lá:

1 - O primeiro motivo é mais pessoal, eu tendo a me apegar bastante aos personagens, como se aquela história contada durante um drama de fato tivesse acontecido (não importando o gênero do drama). E isso aconteceu justamente com a atriz que faz o papel da Jung Hee Joo (Park Shin Hye). Eu sou um grande fã dela, acho ela uma atriz incrível, e fiquei muito apegado ao papel que ela fez em Pinocchio, então pra mim, conseguir me "desprender" de um papel, e assistir outro papel representado pelo mesmo ator ou pela mesma atriz é realmente um desafio. Mesmo que tenha passado um bom tempo desde que vi Pinocchio, ainda sou apegado a personagem. :/

2 - O segundo motivo é um detalhe que notei ao assistir o episódio. No andamento do episódio, é demonstrado a tecnologia de simulação de jogos por meio de uma lente de contato, onde se explora um combate com um inimigo... Esse combate, pelo menos na forma em que foi mostrado, interfere de certa maneira no mundo real. Como assim? Quando o inimigo usou a espada para atacar Yoo Jin Woo, ele caiu para trás, como se aquele elemento do inimigo atacar tivesse impactado no mundo real. Outro exemplo é o peso na espada que o Yoo Jin Woo parece sentir ao pegar nela pela primeira vez. Vale ressaltar que isso também acontece durante toda a luta (como quando eles batem e chocam uma espada a outra, e ficam pressionando uma na outra, no caso o movimento do Yoo Jin Woo deveria atravessar a espada do inimigo por completo, e não que ele sentisse uma pressão contrária por causa da espada do inimigo).
Eu tenho que me sentir imerso no que a história se propõe, pra tratar tais elementos como críveis, e talvez por ser um jogador assíduo, eu tenha ficado ainda mais incomodado com esse detalhe.

3 - Por fim, o terceiro motivo também é pessoal. Desde pequeno, algo que me incomoda bastante, não importando a mídia da qual esteja consumindo, são situações como humilhação ou constrangimento. Tais situações me deixam mega incomodado e com uma vontade enorme de parar de assistir a série, filme ou whatever.
Essa vontade de desistir ao ver essas situações também dependem do tempo que estou assistindo algo, por exemplo: Se em uma série de 20 episódios, isso acontece no episódio 15, 16, por aí, eu continuarei assistindo até terminar. Mas se for nos primeiros 5, 10, 15 minutos de um filme, ou nos primeiros episódios de uma série (como foi no caso dessa), eu simplesmente desisto e já era.
Essa situação aconteceu justamente no final do episódio, quando Yoo Jin Woo humilhou e maltratou a Jung Hee Joo ao falar dela e do hotel em que ela é dona, gritou e humilhou tanto que fez ela chorar... Isso me incomodou de uma forma que não dá pra explicar, ainda mais quando, durante um telefonema, Yoo Jin Woo percebeu que deveria se aproximar de Jung Hee Joo, e começou a rir logo seguida. Nossa! Tudo isso foi suficiente pra mim desistir do drama.

Como dito no começo da resenha, não gosto de criticar uma série que vi tão pouco, mas com esses 3 elementos que expliquei acima, ficou muito difícil querer continuar.

Storyline is too bland

Tbh the storyline is too bland
Too much school scenes where by it’s a story about five grown up women how they suffer and deal with lives but to be honest all I see is just keep on flash back to school scenes
It’s kinda annoying
And not much sparkles between the pairs
So if you ask me will I pay subscription fees or will I purposely watch it ?
The Answer is no
Because this kind of story is too. Common in bg series
And furthermore the storyline is quite childish to adults viewers but too old fashioned for younger audiences
In term of the script so even with good acting actors and actresses it did not really get good viewerships on official platforms
And another thing is that why people watch TikTok videos because it is focus of their favourite
And actually hundreds thousands or millions views on TikTok is not a very big deal for normal videos unless it’s YouTube it’s considered as good because now it’s hard to get views on YouTube
So marketing can’t base on TikTok views as a end convention for the overall ratings for this series because it is not really accurate
And instead of complaining on public I think the production team should try to find out what’s wrong with this series and improve on next project and not complain on public
Every production team does series also face a lot of pressure not only you

Wasted potential

This show could've been great. There's so much wasted potential. The story was interesting and the cast were amazing in their roles.

There were too much forced coincidences happening just to fit the narrative. Like someone suddenly calling when something bad was about to happen. Also them suddenly becoming a family didn't feel natural.

I wish they spent more time building the relationships between the characters.

Also the main antagonist was too weak. He wasn't intimidating, didn't seem strong nor was he interesting. It's probably also the casting choice. He seemed like he should've been a minor villain.

Overall, the acting was really bad. It was overly obvious that the two leads were having a memorized, scripted conversation. The chemistry between the two leads was poor as well. I got bored within the first episode and dropped this drama.

Everything looked perfect, it looks like the title has a story, male character looking good, fighter, teaser, then tou see sad ending. Death of main lead. Is this a joke? I wanted to watch this but now I can't... 😭 There is only one drama with tag teasing lead. And it has a sad ending. I had high hopes that the search would be helpful.
