Not my CUp of tea

I wanted to watch something romantic and remembered how much I loved watching love O2O when I got introduced to a whole new world of dramas and started watching this. though the genre didn't mention romance I expected something mild however that wasn't the case.
Thought dramas are only about romance but didn't expect to encounter something without any romance. I would've considered continuing watching it but can't do it in my current mood.
It has a good theme and all but I personally don't like that gaming stuff. knowing that I won't get what I expected I can't continue it.
so I decided to drop it.

Nothing to watch here

I'm not bothered by the cliche story, nor by the arrogant ML - the actor is very good in his part - , im bothered by the totally mediocre FL and her inexistent acting skills. There's no chemistry between the leads and there is no way the director can convince me that a rich handsome CEO would fall hard, at first sight, for the boring FL. Maybe it so happened just because the ML happened to see the FL naked? Isnt this bad taste? Are we talking puberty?

Hmmmm, difficult...

I wonder how the relationship between the two main characters will develop. I feel absolutely no vibe. The acting is so-so. I'll be honest, since both mainactors have some experience, I was expecting a bit more. Especially Kimmon is not a newbie here. He has been in much better productions in the past, in my opinion. But I don't want to be too harsh. I watched the 2nd episode and will continue to give it a chance. We'll see how the whole thing develops.

But please, what the hell is wrong with the subtitles? There's no excuse for that. This should be revised urgently, as soon as possible.

OffGun Biased

This is the BEST Offgun storyline (apart from Not Me)!

I wish they make an entire series out of this episode. It's really funny, entertaining yet it shows a different side of them

I finallly get to see Off portraying a softer and sweeter side of him after the body switch. The acting is on point.

You won't get confused at all, as they portray each other so well, from the way they walk to the way they talk and react.

I also love seeing how they get to undestand each other more and see how their relationship have matured, especially Pick..

Even if you only watch episode 1, go for it! lol..

Good plote with mismathch

A plot of story is wonderful. Man fall in love with woman who is 10 year older, divorce and having child. But plot ruined by support artists. Unnecessary forcefully introduced characters with there own story make drama lengthy and sloppy. Introducing girls mother as there willingly mother in-law, is worst scenario of the story. After that story can not digest easily. minus 6 rating f For adding emotional spice, father is disabled person, mother has incurable disease, all support characters past, lengthy story, not properer ending with main artists disappoint me. I think drama worthy only for 16 episodes with limited characters and story. 4 stars only for acting of all artists, both main and support role.

Looks more like untreated brain damage than time travel

We have quite compelling premise, more than likeable main couple cast, yet it's kind of... off, since the very 1st episode. The main girl acts out, spills the first minute that she traveled to the future, yet the person whom she tells this to - her mother - acts like she can't be bothered, she leaves her to deal with all the things AND with her husband all alone, so it's like she haven't told her. Main girl also acts crazy around her husband without sitting quietly for a second to think that (no matter her usual type), she had to have fallen for him else he would not be her husband in the future. Every woman in her place would at least take a good look at the guy, lol. Then she goes to work with NO problem, she is lucky she is working at the same place but still, after several years how the hell does she know what to do? Even the most repetitive work WOULD have some changes. How does she know her daily assignment? The list goes on and on... Basically, her main character keeps to brusquely dismiss things she should think hard about, then she easily does things she should have problem with. Someone did not write this right from the beginning.

Mik's male character is kinda far fetched, too. I get we are to know that he is a nice guy and a loving husband but they are no longer on their honeymoon. Even the nicest guy in the world would not put up with the main girl's behavior, not for this long (I haven't watched this long but I read the other review:) Why should he? He's not paid to be with her, is he? She keeps hurting him, he should react naturally. Again, it's like this got incompetent writer. First, it's said the main girl traveled 3 years into the future. Then all the characters in there say that she is now married for 3 years. If she did not even know him 3 years ago, then they could not already be married for the whole 3 years, right? They needed to meet, and at least briefly date, first. How many years in the future is she, then? Did anyone think before writing this?

So, I could not understand the story, and I could not understand the characters. The girl in her situation could either try telling the guy that the last day she remembers before waking up with him there, was years ago (no matter how crazy it would sound), or try to get along with him. Telling him nothing & treating him like cr*p was the worst option. And also kind of least credible... Like, she was at ease enough with him to almost/insult him? If he was a complete stranger, then I get she didn't want to get intimate, but to behave like this made no sense, either. His reactions, too. It was more like watching people with some kind of brain damage, than characters in comedy/romance.

It's also all very prolonged. Seriously, in her place, had he keep acting that way, I would tell him the truth. She acts like she doesn't have to care. Like she does have some option to get quickly back to the past, so it doesn't matter however she'll act. But she doesn't. We don't see her solving some sci-fi way to travel back. So, she cannot treat her husband like that indefinitely. At one point he takes her at doctor's. Had she told him that for her, before waking up she had short hair and she did not know him because for her, it was year XXXX (I don't know which), then he would probably taken her to a specialist. Nobody believes in time travel, they would probably suppose she had some kind of amnesia... In other words, brain damage, lol. He would also know that he cannot treat her the same. This way, it's going in circles. If this is going to be the only plot, then I'm not sure how many episodes I can withstand...

Dropped by episode 3, which the main heroine spent almost entirely doing crazy stuff to avoid sleeping with her husband (perhaps it would be better if she had... other than prolonging this idiocy even longer, as described in the other review).

Started out great, lost interest super quickly.

Overall, I didn't like this. I think maybe if it had been a mini-series I would have liked it. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes and then I ended up skipping like 75% of episodes 4-8. Then I just jumped to the last episode and watched it.
Honestly, the entire story could have been done in like 2 or 3 episodes. The rest was just boring and drawn out for drama purposes.

The characters seemed pretty flat to me, and not well-rounded from what I saw. I still don't understand the step-sister's behavior and I'm not going back to try and watch it all to figure it out. Honestly, if she doesn't have a motive from the beginning then it doesn't make sense to give her one over halfway through the series.

I'm sure some people have watched this and enjoyed it. It just wasn't a drama meant for me I guess.

"The Series that inspired Love is War "

I wasn't expecting this drama to be this good. The plot is definitely similar to the newly and well-loved "love is war" but in a more mature way. The married couple are lawyers and are in constant odd with each other, one break that will give the other the reason to divorce which ended up being funny. The show definitely displayed "lesson-learned" element in each episodes as is normal that time but is uniquely different with the narrator funnily narrating the show and the two intelligent couple still lacking in a lot of ways, people definitely need to watch this underrated good series.

Every scene is at a snail’s pace

The way the series was shot and edited makes every single thing that happens feel like it takes so long. Just a character sitting down to do something or getting up. They’re single shots and there’s no edits or cuts. You’re literally just watching the actors move in real time. Watching feels like you’re constantly waiting for something to happen, anything, but nothing does.

it is so agonizingly slow that even watching it 15% sped up still feels slow.

The actors also speak so slow that even when sped up, their speaking still sounds normal.

I watched the whole 1st episode and if you removed all of the walking, entering and exiting rooms, and adjusting themselves to sit down or stand up, the episode would be 10 or 15 minutes long. But it’s 40 minutes long.

Watching the first episode gave me bad college film flashbacks.

I liked the 1st episode

I DID like the first episode, it was fun & cute both, and the princess was NOT just a smiling doll (some review mentioned that she was and that the other story with Mookda was to be better in that respect). It was also funny when at the beginning of 2nd episode the guy found out his whole adventure (a movie-length runtime) was actually with the princess, not the maid. But 3rd episode already had them all mushy... And to watch FIFTEEN movie-length episodes? This genre is not my cup of tea... I'll try the other series, not that I think Mookda better actress but pershaps it could be funnier. We'll see if I'll drop it, too...

Lead Girl kinda....

one thing i want to say the lead star voice is so annoying and her role kinda irritated.... but i think the series is good... have to finish it but im sorry but whenever the lead girl talks irritated me.... why does all girl in Chinese voice like that... irritating!!!!


i hope they improve the way talk and their tone of voice kinda crazy!!!!

i hope it wont regret watching this!!!!

tropes' glory

Besides the ML looking good, this drama doesnt have much to offer, just a bunch of cliches from B-series movies: the love of two orphans, the big-hearted prostitute, the outcast saved by an innocent love, also a femme-fatale etc. Too many to keep track of them. Coincidences and misunderstandings keep happening... Oh, and of course we have a hero, or even two heroes, and also one dead hero - the fem cop.
It's really a dumb-trophy winning series.
