already watched <3

my opinions : very childish but this was one of the shows at the beginning of the industry's pickup so i don't mind that it was childish. it's cute in some aspects. worth a watch if you're bored :)

my opinions : very aesthetically pleasing. chemistry was cute. i'd love to see a reboot or something...

my opinions : i've got conflicting views on this one. a little upset at the ending and the fact there was never any continuation because of censorship laws, but it is what it is. reminded me of a low-budget MODC.

my opinions : still one of my favorites to this day. story was well executed and twists were unexpected. one of the better storylines out there. side couple really carried the show, though, and i stand by that! would love a continuation.

my opinions : yet again- HIStory always wins. authentic feelings always portrayed. storyline caught me by surprise and pulled me in. wishing we had more development in the few episodes there were, but i wouldn't mind there being a cut off forever. 

my opinions : surprisingly, this is one of my all time favorites. the ending... ehhhhhh i don't wanna talk about it... let's ignore it. main characters were perfect and side characters didn't carry the series like the others- they were on equal footing. i rewatch this one a couple times a year for funsies. definitely recommend.

my opinions : not for me. it was my very first BL that i watched and i had high expectations for other series after watching it, but realized quickly this was one of the more juvenile and bland series out there- if not the most. but hey- whatever floats your boat. 

my opinions : i've watched up to episode 8 or so i think... but after that for me it got quite boring and way too complex. there was a lot of everything going on. the aesthetics of the show remind me a little bit of grey rainbow, and i recommend watching this if you're bored. there was also genunine chemistry between the leads, which i think is obviously important in a series... 

my opinions : i've only watched to episode 6 i think. frankdrake always pulls me in no matter what the storylines are and since this was one of their first projects together, it's bittersweet (especially after seeing them in 2gether). watch this if you're bored.

my opinions : not worth it in my mind. i watched all the episodes and never watched it again after that. the content wasn't great. the lead actors didn't have chemistry at all. just didn't click for me.

my opinions : as a build-off type series, i think it was decent, but definitely on the lower tier of dramas. i think it was an unnecessary series. just not my cup of tea.

my opinions : this is one of the "classics" but it's overhyped and honestly annoying. not to mention that the actors are a little iffy irl. i can appreciate separating the art from the artist in most aspects, but this just doesn't feel right. plus, gulf is just... not that great of an actor. moving on...

my opinions : one of my favorites! i always get annoyed at the lack of communication and the abundance of toxicity that petekao share.... however sunmork always gets me. i think the entire story is pretty twisty and turny so it's fun to watch for the first time, and the rewatches are okay. definitely not a masterpiece but not horrible, either.

my opinions : one of my top 5 !!! pharm is so sweet and the rest of the characters are as well. the storyline is unique and not to mention the very very detailed side story that winteam get. i can't wait for their series to come out. 

my opinions : a classic! brightwin are really great, and i can't wait to see them in future works. i think they work really well in this. the storyline is cute and it may be your usual university setting, but something feels... new about it. it doesn't feel like a university setting. the "fake boyfriend" thing actually is pretty common in fanfiction but you don't see it a lot in shows. always love rewatching this one.

my opinions : the idea was interesting, but not well executed. as most series goes the side relationship really stole the show. and hey, listen, i'm all for university tropes when they're well executed. but honestly, there wasn't anything interesting. it's still a good rewatch though solely for kingram. 

my opinions : love love LOVE. i know the show is supposed to be about a toxic relationship but i don't think i can get over how beautiful it is. cinematography is more on the prettier side, the actual romance was decent, not "to my star" level yet... but you get it. the storyline was interesting. it's something i've yet to see a lot of in this genre.

my opinions : good lord. nothing will ever top this show. and i know.... everyone has their critiques about bk's crying scenes... but the dynamic between bkpp is just.... awe-inspiring. it's insane. it's worth awards and the praise it gets. dont hesitate- if you haven't watched it, GO NOW!

my opinions : man i don't even wanna talk about this show. saintzee do NOT work well together at all. i think zee is fine as an actor but saint just honestly ruins everything he's in. he's not a good actor. i'm sorry lmfao. anyways, storyline yet again was the university trope... with the usual "fanfic" writer BL obsessed girl or sister in the background. the only thing i actually liked was saifah and zon. they actually worked well together, same as with in peach of time (even if they werent the couple, they still act well together and on their own). i think it's worth watching if you skip everything but saifahzons scenes. 

my opinions : as with the first series, this is also a classic. goes along really well if you binge watch it all in one day. their story is one that a lot of people complain about because of the usual personality arguments, but idrc. this was a good edition because it showed a healthy relationship with healthy problems- rather than the cheating trope or the blackmail or assault tropes. it showed the reality of relationship fights and i think it's cute. anyways, im also glad that we got more of frankdrake's character's relationship development. it was well worth the wait and i think the pacing from season one that carried over to season two was really a nice touch. still a favorite. fight me.

my opinions : honestly this is one of the better kbldramas ive seen. i know "to my star" and "color rush" obviously are up there on the charts but... the storyline was nice. it was a trope but a new way to look at it. i think if kbls had more episodes and longer episodes at that, we could have had better pacing and better development without the lazy director cut of "five years later" or whatever. the tension and chemistry between the characters was fantastic i will admit- and i used to take jiu jitsu classes so this one has a special place in my heart...

my opinions : i have to rewatch this in order to write a decent review. i have watched so much stuff in the past few years i literally cannot for the life of me remember the plot of this. 

my opinions : as always, maxtul have the chemistry of real lovers. i will say this story was annoying because of the manipulative girlfriend, but besides that, i think realizing youre in love with a best friend is always a cute trope. especially in the way it was handled in this story- just casually admitting (besides the whole first scene of the first episode OKAYYY).

my opinions : my godddd. as a sapphic myself, i really appreciate GL's. i think this movie (two parts i think it is?) was so beautiful. it may not be 100% cinematic but the storyline was adorable. im happy i stumbled upon it.

my opinions : pretty!!!! definitely up there on my list just because kbldramas always have the prettiest cinematography. something they always nail. if i could take the storylines of thai BL's and the aesthetics of korean BL's (plus the lack of censorship laws from taiwan), i think we'd get something amazing. ANYWAY. this one was a bit scary for me bc i genuinely thought it was gonna end sadly. but the more i watched it the more i loved it. the dynamic was sweet, the storyline was mostly original (i have noticed a common theme in kdramas that revolve around music though...) and i think overall it's worth watching. 

my opinions : don't even bother. it was such a waste of time. the story is always the same with them and it honestly feels so.... nonconsensual for some reason? idk. whatever. do what you'd like i don't recommend this one though

my opinion : *giggling ensues*  whew i loved this one. it was cute, original, and obv cinematography was great yet again... shut up. the only two things i'd critique about this one are the main actor (jin won's actor) was not.... up to par at all- he looked emotionless most of the time and just didn't really meet the mark. the bare minimum, maybe, but not the true mark i would've wanted. it's easy enough to gloss over if you're focused on sangha and the storyline, though. the other thing is that i feel as if there should have been more overlap in the storyline of the debt collectors and sangha's running job. i think if there would have been a moment where jinwon interfered with the whole thing, the connection in the storyline would have made more sense. ONE THING I WILL SAY is that out of my top ten fav scenes from BL's, the ending scene where they run on their date because "walking's not our thing" lives rent  free in my mind. so cute. 

my opinions : oh here we go... listen man. i love singto. he's gorge. he's adorable. he's an amazing actor and has come rly far. but this storyline is slow and there's absolutely NO chemistry between the leads. all felt forced and weird. idk. it's hailed as the "BL of all BL's" but imo it sucks. it's not worth watching. maybe the our skyyy cameo is worth it, but i doubt it. haven't watched it. 

my opinions : YET AGAIN the side couple did it for me. PHUKAO #1 FAN IS ME THX but anyways they should have gotten more screentime ANYWAYS- let's talk storyline. perfectly fine except for the very confusing series of events in the beginning. the pacing is a little fast. the other side couple was weird. i think if there would have just been communication, the doctor ship thing could have been avoided. i don't like the dragging other people into your fantasy scheme to get the girl you like thing. it just never works out. and it's annoying

my opinions : side couple was cringe, ending was cringe, all the beginning stuff was cute, i love the concept, HATED the point in the storyline where they were "childhood friends". like honestly it fucked up the flow and messed up the whole appeal of the show for me. bc the flashbacks make it seem so corny and weird. idk. just me i guess. but nubsib and gene have a cute dynamic and i like their story for the most part. there's nothing really to complain about if i'm honest... so watch it if you have the time. definitely one of the pillars of the latest generation of BL tv shows. 

my opinions : i'm saphhic but not incestuous. felt weird to me they didn't just have the parents move in for convenience purposes or possibly live next to each other or etc... but i think it was cute. there was a lot of weird moments in the storyline but for the most part i really liked it. definitely will rewatch soon and i recommend it! besides the fact they were almost step sisters, i think the dynamic and cinematography was cute. 

my opinions : WHOO BOY if you've been reading down this list you'll notice i mention "to my star" A LOT..... because it's one of my all time favorites. dynamic and chemistry was great. actors were great. cinematography BOOM. loved it all. genuinely think that i could sit in a theater and watch it til i pass away. 10/10. 

my opinions : YET AGAIN the korean drama pacing gets in the way of making a good series great. i loved this one. the debt collector trope is common, but against a dancer just trying to make a living? that's new. it reminds me a little of yuri on ice but better. better flow. i think the scenes in which they are living domestically got me right in the gut. i loved it. as always kbldrama cinematography won my heart. and the acting was good for the most part. would recommend like 8/10 probably. 

my opinions : beautiful cinematography, felt nonconsensual most of the time. didn't like how the story ended but had a cute beginning. would definitely recommend if you're in for a good cry. 

my opinions : i liked it at first, but it just got worse. don't watch this. 

my opinions : okay so it was cute, i guess. the chemistry between the leads was cute, and the side couple was okay. it was definitely a unique setting, and i liked the dialogue and the weird few roadblocks that occured... but i think the pacing was quite slow and it felt like i was fast forwarding a lot. i finished the entire series within a day and rewatched it recently to get back the feeling from it, but alas... nothing. i'm hoping that there's a second season. 

my opinions : oh boy. so this is also one of my FAVORITE thai BL's and specifically because they used maxtul in another AMAZING storyline. there were no annoying side characters, everyone had a role, every detail was perfectly lined up... and inspector M was my fav. the way they weaved him perfectly and seamlessly into the story was amazing. and all the twists and turns- i could not keep my eyes off the screen! 10/10 would rewatch on any given day. 

my opinions : another fav to this day. although it was a mini series and there was very little development, the story was in the details. the storyline wasn't jaw dropping but it was interesting enough and had me in a chokehold by the end. i was anticipating the end of the series and practically cried when it came to the end. it wasn't a cinematic masterpiece, but it definitely was a rollercoaster. watch this!

my opinions : thank GOD i watched this when i did because i'm excited now for earthmix's new projects too. this was one of those unique storylines yet again, the ones that arent university based i mean... and mostly everything was perfect. acting, cinematography, music score, chemistry... perfect. excepttttt these two things. first of all, the ending- another lazy time skip? come on now. also, the idea that everyone hates tian when he tells them he has torfuns heart is a little annoying. it could be realistic, but in that situation, after getting to know someone, i feel like you would just have a hard time accepting it. you wouldn't downright exile them from the village. right? right. 

my opinions : OKAYYYYY this one was ADORABLE. i binge watched it all in one night and i've gotta say... for all the office tropes i've read manga about, this one is definitely cuter than the rest. i mean- i watched aggretsuko and nothing can top that. HOWEVER. cherry magic is funny and the chemistry between the leads is cute. only one thing to say: why was he selfish about his magic at the end? i feel like knowing you'll lose something no one knows about wouldn't be as heart wrenching as it was made out to be- but of course, everyone has opinions. anyways, GO WATCH THIS!

my opinions : okay... i originally only watched this for pond and guest roles of mix + papang. but the story grew on me. i watched it once and didnt really like it but the second time watching.. I DONT KNOW OKAY! something about it. i think pond's staring could be toned down and i think in nlmg this year we're seeing a different side to him, which is great, but his acting in this show is meh at best. the only reason im giving it such high stars is because SOMEHOW there is a level of chemistry and intimacy about morkpi that just....... works. idk. IDK OKAY

my opinions : boring as hell. doesn't really go anywhere. poor cinematography. moving on

my opinions : it was cute. after fully watching it i think there could have been more done with it, and again the lazy korean drama time skips messed it up a little... but it cant be helped i guess. all we can hope for is someone to pick it up or for the fanfictions to be top tier. alas! i recommend it if youre bored.

my opinions : cool concept, poorly executed. as all kbldramas are, extremely short running time causes pacing issues and unnecessary scene cuts. would have been better if there was a more distinct relationship and a longer runtime. 

my opinions : i know a lot of people hate the writer, but i will say that compared to tharntype, this is actually decent. the amount of smut scenes are actually new to the BL scene. we get kisses here and there but nothing spicy. and this series is probably where all those proposed spicy scenes from other series' got dropped off! jafirst's acting isn't as bad as people say it is. there may be weird moments of staring, but in every single show ever there usually is. it's not something i'd unrecommend the show to people for. it's not too big of a deal. people also say the relationship is toxic- i agree that some aspects seem like it? but the possessiveness is a mutually wanted thing, and they communicate about it a lot. it's consensual and both parties are very into it- i don't quite see the issue. plus, the complications with past lovers is something a lot of people in relationships go through. it wasn't "problematic" to add. it's a real thing. and lastly, i will say that the reason i love this show so much is the fact that ACTUAL TRAUMA is displayed. as someone with similar traumas to those included in the show, it was fascinating and affirming to see the same issues portrayed in the show. do i think this is a cinematic masterpiece? no. but do i think it deserves much more love than hate? yes! watch this if you're not too young and want something lowkey- finish the series when you're mentally stable. 

my opinions : for a miniseries that looked like it was shot on a camcorder, i would say it's cute in a weird way. it looks like a senior student filmography project- which i don't exactly hate, but for a low-budget TV show, this is very unattractive. if you want something light and forgettable, be here 

my opinions : this story is one of my favorites. it's juvenile in a way that doesn't seem stupid. it's more accurate teenager acting than, say, whatever the hell futs was trying to do. ida and aoki's actors have great chemistry and are cute, and portray highschool love quite adorably and accurately. the awkwardness and uncertainty in relationships that arises is definitely not missed here either - it's perfect in all aspects. i can say that the kiss at the end was disappointing without batting an eye, but i can also within the same sentence support the shitty smooch for one reason : they're highschoolers. it's not supposed to be experienced kissing. so i get it. 

my opinions : just one acronym: LMFAO. okay. this show was a RIDE because of all the mini stories. the only ones that genuinely stuck with me were ep 1. and ep 4.'s stories. they may have been a litttttle off paced, but the first episode sets high expectations that aren't truly met the rest of the way anyway. if you want something to randomly watch, try this. 

my opinions : okay i originally abandoned this series but i got bored so i finished it. it wasn't the best out there, and i most likely won't watch it again, i mostly watched it for yacht and singto bc i love them <3 yoon was a nice addition to the cast but tae just................ just. i can't deal with his acting. and he just didn't really fit the role at all. singto carried the acting- tae was just along for the ride. regarding the plot, i think it would have been better had they had a better lead with singto. it also progressed reallllly slow. the only reason i am giving it anything more than a 2 or 3 star is because of the few times i liked the lead chemistry. which was literally only three or four times in the entire show. you're better off skipping this one or fast forwarding through it as a filler series. 

my opinions : THIS ONE IS ONE I RECENTLY WATCHED!!! IT'S NOW AT THE TOP OF MY ALL TIME FAVS LIST!!!! chemistry BOOM scenery BOOM cinematography BOOM storyline BOOM. i love love love these two and the realization the shu yi has about liking shi de was honestly adorable. the pacing was perfect, felt like it didn't go too far either. i think they should have had more episodes to this, but of course... it always is ended short .

my opinions : so the storyline was a little confusing ! i will admit. however, chemistry still existed, same aesthetic as the last was kept, and of course the storyline didn't prove boring. i am also extremely appreciate of their including not only a character with affective disorder, but also someone with asperger's and paranoia (plus mental health issues). it really did hit close to him but it made me feel comfortable and represented

my opinions : UM NUNA BEST GIRL. I'M IN LOVE W HER. i need her to marry me rn. anyways main couple was cute and had chemistry but of course the storyline fucked that up. don't understand why the mother didn't want her son to be a chef... don't understand why the pacing was so slow... don't see how it was beneficial for episode 9 to even exist.

my opinions : OKAY. after finishing this i can 100% say that it is one of my favorites ever. the plotline was actually AMAZING and the romance was so fresh- a polyamorous relationship that is healthy?!?!?! WITH BOUNDARIES?!?!?! AND TENSION!?!?!? good lord it has EVERYTHINGGGG. people say it's not considered BL and i wouldn't consider it BL either, but it does have LGBT elements heavily wound throughout so it's still an important part of the LGBT romance genre. for the people that are saying they don't end up in the end and "there was only a singular threesome".... did you not watch the rest of the series after that episode?!?!? they clearly all establish that they love each other equally- and want to pursue a relationship. i dont think PP at the end is in a relationship with shin either- i think people are assuming. when they're playing in the water, it's heavily implied that they're still together. ANYWAYSSS BACK TO MY POINT- please please please watch this if you can. there are so many beautiful aspects to this drama and it's 100% worth your time. 

currently watching and UM. i love phob he can haunt me any day <3 but ANYWAYS i think this story is unique and i'm excited to see what happens- the romhorror genre is not very vast especially in BL so. im looking forward to see what's gonna happen.

my opinions : from someone who loves kitty chicha and gore, this was a 2-in-1 for me. fucking loved every minute of this. i love the idea behind exposing sins. AND the episode where nanno practically falls in love w someone who's actually innocent- it just breaks me. i rewatch it constantly. 

my opinions : LOVED SEASON ONE- LOVED SEASON TWO. END OF STORY.

my opinions : definitely one of the best "boys over flowers" adaptations ive seen, especially compared to whatever the hell is going on in f4 thailand LMAO but i'm not here to slander- i love love love the casting and storyline of this. it was rly cute. i think i would have wanted a clearer ending and faster pacing, but it's definitely worth watching! 

my opinions : THIS WAS SO SO SO CUTE! i will admit the age gap threw me off- and the beginning was a little confusing- but it was so cute overall. the dynamic is adorable, the acting was nice, and of course i love wi hajoon so it's an immediate top-of-the-list show for me. would rewatch.

my opinions : this is probably one of my top ten shows of all time, all genres and all countries. it's just so perfectly done, acting is beautiful, storyline is beautiful, and the main leads are to die for. not to mention that romcoms are usually my favorite type of show, the way the genre was handled in this show was immaculate. loved every aspect. 

my opinions : okay so this was a perfect edition to the why r u series. i think me loving saizon more than fightor made this extra miniseries all the more special for me. i wish we could get something like this for phukao from "oxygen". 

my opinions : one of my favorite movies. of course, it deserved all the awards it got. it'll forever stay in my memory and it changed me- definitely. good to watch if you're looking for suspense or a friday night dark-living-room-esque vibe. worth it!

my opinions : i think this was cute. i definitely think they could have done more with making taekyung's feelings clear but daon's confusing behavior messed up the whole vibe for me. i understand not being able to say no to people but at the same time it just made me feel uncomfortable. besides that, the usual praise for a kbl, great cinematography and acting. 

my opinions : okay. this series was awful i wont lie. the only reason it's getting a 3 and not a 1 is because of teng muren's actor- who i find weirdly amazing at mediocre acting? besides him, the rest of the cast was an ick and not to mention the r#pe scenes, lack of consent, stalking, drugging, incest, etc etc etc good lord. after watching the other history series i thought this one was going to be another one of my favorites, but it really was a let down. maybe watch episode 15 through 20 and let that be all- or just don't watch it at all. not worth it. 

my opinions : gonna give it a very hard neutral. visuals and whatnot were beautiful because as always, kbldramas have that aesthetic feel that is unmatched. the kiss scenes and romance were actually built up quite nicely and didn't feel fake. chemistry was perfect. the one thing i wish we had is MORE EPISODES !!! and longer episodes. sigh. the neverending story of kbldramas. theyd be golden if they were longer. but still- the only thing i'd genuinely complain about is the storyline. literally nothing happened. had they put in something like an issue with money or a disaster needing to be fixed or some type of blackmail idk... something interesting? i think it would have been much more enjoyable. 

my opinions : it was rly good, i think it should have had more episodes and they shouldnt have just randomly killed the one guy at the end, but it is what it is. im hoping they bring it back for another season bc it deserves so much more love.

my opinions : okay- so out of all the dramas ive watched, this has got to be one of the most memorable besides itsay, to my star, and not me. genuinely this show had me (and still does have me) in a chokehold. the visuals, the chemistry, the miniature conflicts, and all that in just 6 episodes? they nailed it! i think we should have had something like 10-12 episodes to fully flesh out the characters, and the timeskips were a little annoying, but it still was beautifully produced and didn't feel fake at all. everything was so... good. with the resources available, a gorgeous drama was birthed- loved it, will rewatch sometime soon probably.

my opinions : tbh don't watch this it's a "short" film but it literally is.... short and doesn't do anything the storyline is so messy too 

my opinions : it was cute in the beginning... but the ending was just a little dumb. and the fact that there was so much drama and no real development was a little annoying. but the leads worked well together and they were cute i guess... 

my opinions : so so so so SO good. so beautifully written and everything is set out so wonderfully. each scene is very thought out, the characters are perfect, and the raw emotions of a true divorce story actually show through- there's no romanticization or fetishization of the main couple, which is something new. i'm really happy i watched this- i'll probably watch it again sometime soon. 

my opinions : okay.... all i'm going to say is that this was so so so so worth waiting an entire month to finish. i even bought rakuten viki premium so i could watch each episode as soon as it came out. so so so good. 

my opinions : okay... i watched this as a filler and i gotta say, it was so cringe but so funny i couldn't stop??? watching it?? i think it's the first sitcom i actually have ever enjoyed. the plotline was a little messy but lay and yoon are rly good actors and have decent chemistry, so it carried. i wish we could get another yoonlay series w a better director / different genre though, because i think they have a lot of untapped potential.

my opinions : really weird storyline... but for the amount of time they had, they didn't completely butcher it? the cinematography was lackluster but i guess it is what it is.. um.. the kiss scene in episode 4 was alright but besides that i didn't see chemistry, and the actor who played 'gun' just rly threw everything off for me. i liked love mechanics a lot more. you can watch this as a filler show but don't expect too much. 

my opinions : one acronym. LMFAO. one sentence. someone made this at gunpoint. THIS WAS LITERALLY SO AWFUL. chemistry was solely carried by promm, benz just looked uncomfortable the entire time. i think 3 episodes was so short for this. it deserved soooo much more time. i can't believe each of the en of love series were shortcut like this. they deserved so much more buildup </3

my opinions : really messy. really good. acting was eh but the storyline is decent and really does show the reality of assault and trauma. i think they did really well with this. it deserved longer than 3 episodes i think, but it is what it is. they did the best they could with the time they had. also it reminded me of until we meet again i won't lie

my opinions : yet again... as you will see how i comment on every single kbldrama on this list... um... great cinematography, weird ass storyline, decent visuals, but horrid chemistry etc. the last scene where dogun pulls him in and the scene in the kitchen where jungwoo hugs him are genuinely the only scenes i actually enjoyed. also, their feelings just appeared out of nowhere? so it was a little weird. anyways. its cute in some aspects but definitely not the top of my list.

my opinions : okay............ holy fuck. this is on one of my top three of all time. i cannot believe im about to say this but... they did the absolute best with this. they included diversity, real emotions, real progression of emotions and plot, and all around gave the plot and characters situations and problems that were realistic and complex. each character had their own uniqueness about them. this is one of my favorites because it hit the mark in every aspect possible.  purely peak of the genre

my opinions : this was an awful sequel. the chemistry between the leads was NOT it. i really liked the originality of the original show, and completely deviating off the path just messed up everything. and they never even solved most of where everyone was by the end, plus there are so many questions unanswered and left too open. won't be rewatching 

my opinions : okay. keep in mind i haven't read any of the manga, also keep in mind im a slut for slow burns. with both of those things in mind, i fucking LOVED this show so much. it was good and lighthearted, and had mention/subtleties related to ED's and explicit talk about insecurity and judgement. the cast was great, the friendship between the sister and the friend was cute, the fact i'm going to be a film major and this literally is what i want my college experience to simulate lol... anyways.
