After only a month of casting reports, Mun Ka Young has officially confirmed her participation in the upcoming K-drama Seocho-dong.
On November 19, it was officially confirmed that Mun Ka Young will be the female lead of the upcoming K-drama Seocho-dong. She will work with actor Lee Jong Suk in the new law series.
Seocho-dong will reveal the stories of the lawyers working at Seocho-dong Law Town. Director Park Seung Woo who is known for creating the works W, Adamas, Kairos, Spring Turns to Spring, and more will be in charge of the upcoming K-drama.
Mun Ka Young will portray the role of Kang Hee Ji. She is a lawyer with two years of experience at a law firm and recently completed her probation. She once dreamt of becoming an artist but gave up on it and pursued law to protect her loved ones.
Seocho-dong will reportedly premiere in early 2025. The upcoming K-drama will air on tvN. There is no confirmation yet if the K-drama will also be available on global streaming platforms.
Mun Ka Young is currently in the middle of filming for her upcoming tvN K-drama My Dearest Nemesis. In the new series, she will work alongside Choi Hyun Wook, Im Se Mi, Kwak Shi Yang, Kim Young Ah, and Seong Seung Ha. She will also make a special cameo appearance in the Netflix original K-drama Cashero.
The actress will also make a comeback to the big screen after nine years with Us and Them. She will star alongside
Koo Kyo Hwan in the upcoming romance film.
Mun Ka Young was last seen in the 2022 K-drama The Interest of Love. She worked alongside Yoo Yeon Seok, Geum Sae Rok, Jung Ga Ram, Moon Tae Yu, and Oh Dong Min.
