Veteran actress Kim Soo Mi responds to concerns about her health
Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun will possibly be the next K-drama couple from KBS.
On August 19, media outlets shared that Lee Jae Wook's next leading lady is the rising actress Choi Sung Eun. The two will work together in the upcoming K-drama The Last Summer which will premiere on KBS.
The Last Summer is a three-dimensional romance K-drama between a woman who doesn't like summer and a man, who is fond of summer and has been waiting for it every day. The two will get reunited after two years.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Min Yeon Hong who is known for creating the K-dramas Insider, Missing: The Other Side, and Touch. This will also be his reunion with actor Lee Jae Wook as they have previously worked on the series The Impossible Heir.
The Last Summer will reportedly have 12 episodes and will exclusively premiere on KBS.
Lee Jae Wook got the offer to portray the role of Baek Do Ha. He is the director and architect of the architectural firm Pluto Atelier. He has a complex character who looks like a cold-blooded person but a soft-hearted inside.
This will possibly be the second upcoming K-drama of Lee Jae Wook. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming series Hong Rang with Jo Bo Ah, Jung Ga Ram, Uhm Ji Won, Park Byung Eun, and Kim Jae Wook.
Choi Sung Eun received the offer to star as Song Ha Kyung who works as a civil servant in a construction office. This will possibly be her comeback to the K-drama scene after almost three years. She last starred in the Netflix original K-drama The Sound of Magic.
The actress is also set to be part of the upcoming movie Mad Dance Office with Yeom Hye Ran, Choi Sung Eun, Oh My Girl's Arin, Park Ho San, Baek Hyun Jin, and Ahn Dong Goo.
