Ra Mi Ran to make a special cameo appearance in "A Virtuous Business"
Kim Ye Won will be added to the cast of the upcoming romantic comedy K-drama Love on a Single Log Bridge.
On August 30, Kim Ye Won's agency Eco Global Group confirmed that the actress would be joining the new K-drama.
This will be Kim Ye Won's first acting project for 2024. She was last seen in the Disney+ K-drama Call It Love with Kim Young Kwang, Lee Sung Kyung, Sung Joon, EXID's Ahn Hee Yeon, and Jun Suk Ho. She also appeared in the movie Unlocked.
Last year, Kim Ye Won was also one of the main hosts of the hit dating program EXchange Season 3.
Kim Ye Won is known for being part of the K-dramas You Are My Spring, Eulachacha Waikiki Season 2, Suspicious Partner, Tomorrow with You, Jealousy Incarnate, and more.
Love on a Single Log Bridge will tell the romance between a man and woman who will reunite after 18 years. The two were born on the same day with the same name and their families have been enemies for generations. 18 years later, the two will reunite as colleagues in Dokmok High School.
Kim Ye Won will work alongside main leads Ju Ji Hoon, Jung Yu Mi, and Lee Shi Woo.
In the K-drama, Kim Ye Won will play the role of Cha Ji Hye. She is a math teacher and colleague of Seok Ji Won (Ju Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi) in Dokmok High School. She is also the childhood friend of the two and has been the witness to all their bickering.
The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director Park Joon Hwa (Alchemy of Souls, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim, and Because This Is My First Life) and writer Im Ye Jin (The Tale of Nokdu, Love in the Moonlight, and Who Are You: School 2015).
Love on a Single Log Bridge will begin airing in the second half of the year.
