A great start, unpolished end

The series was fantastic, started off really well. The push and pull between the main characters really worked. However, it really bugs me that no-one realised that Pete was suffering from the Stockholm Syndrone.... It was just completely overlooked... Shocking, but not surprising because this series just glosses over hell of a lot of things. But overall, it is worth a watch. I especially like Porche and Kinn's smile is a killer!!! But honestly, it's Vegas's English and his accent that gets me going.... Oooh !!! The heat it generates... Especially when he says to Pete, 'Do you know how sexy you are?' God knows I want someone to say that to me!!!

KinnPorsche is truly one of the most distinctive BL series out there. The lead characters are genuinely captivating and compelling. Their impressive performances pull you right into the series. If you're looking for a thrilling adventure with a mafia theme and male leads, then you should definitely watch it. One word: unhinged.

I had expectations going into this based on how people talked about, and they were mostly met. I expected action, decent budget and acting and mafia stuff etc. What I did not expect was how funny it was?? Honestly Tankhun stole every scene he was in, and the side characters really made the show for me.

Vegas,,, everyone always talked about Vegas, and he was one of the reasons I started watching because I wanted to see Bible in something else while waiting for the last episode of 4 Minutes to air. I can't believe it was his first acting job, he really did so well, honestly so satisfying to watch.

However, ultimately the amount of sexual assault, and just scenes with uncomfortable power dynamics was too much for me. The second half of the drama was really hard to get through, especially as the plot got increasingly messy, and I just don't think it was necessary whatsoever. A fun watch, but not something I would watch again.

Love Love Love It!

For my first review, I decided KinnPorsche has to be it!

Story: I think the story was very well played out. Everything flowed together, from Kinn and Porsche’s first meeting, Porsche’s initial time as a bodyguard, the tension that was shown throughout between the Minor and Major families, and the connection Porsche has with both families. There was no filler scenes or scene that seemed out of place, in my opinion. I have watched many shows with scenes I felt like we’re pointless to the plot and didn’t really bring anything but frustration. Everything in KinnPorsche adds up and makes sense to the plot and the characters.

Of course there are a few things I found a little frustrating that I wish they would have added more to. Without adding spoilers, Kim’s storyline I felt was lacking (just a tad) but if there was a season 2, I feel like they could explore his reasoning of his actions a bit more. While watching Kim throughout the series, I always had a guess of why he did the things he did (especially after we discover exactly what he found toward the end), but I just wish they would’ve taken just a few more scenes to explain his own reasoning and what it meant to him. I feel like though, even without the full explanation, it doesn’t take away much from the overall story. It does leave room for a second season though!

Also, this show is a mafia show with many adult themed, and real-life scenarios. I see many people judging the actions of certain characters or mentioning toxic characters or relationships as well, but just remember that those things can and have happened in real life so it’s not as far-fetched as people make it out to be.

Acting/Cast: I’m really impressed with the casting for this and think each actor embodied their characters perfectly. I haven’t read the books yet but from what I’ve read on Twitter, Instagram, etc. about the characters from the books and watching the series in full, I can say the casting directors did an excellent job!

Music: The only thing I can say about the music is that every time I listen to it, I feel like I’m gonna cry and have the urge to restart the series again! So so good!

Rewatch Value: Definitely will be rewatching this plenty of times!!!

Overall: 10/10 Love love looove it! It’s a great mix of drama, comedy, action, and romance with amazing acting skills from each cast member, amazing music, and of course, a cast full of cuties! :) I highly recommend this show and I’m looking forward to watching each project, old and new, from each of these actors!

Each couple have different developments and angst

The acting, video work, audio work, editing and all is superb! You can definitely tell money has gone into this project! I love how warm the brothers and familial love literally makes me cry because I was soo touched. The plot twist is ?? It's a twist after twist and I was totally shocked by the truth. Let me talk about the couples.

Mile and Apo have really good chemistry and their characters have good development. I'm just a bit confused sometimes at sudden mood change scenes like when they're fighting and suddenly get aroused, have sex become happy again. One toxic trait is that they both don't really address their issues and get it through their head that they can solve their shit on their own like..อะไรวะ??

As for VegasPete, we've seen how unapologetic and cruel Vegas is but near the end, we can see how he is just a wounded villain with a soft spot for delivering pain. A villain who develops a soft spot for a man with the courage to take that pain and give it back to Vegas with acceptance and love. I was scared to death thinking Vegas had died and left Pete alone but thank God that they have a chance to be together and move on with their lives.


KimChay. OH.MY.GOD. My favorite couple. The angst and feels. I was bawling when Chay found out and ask if he really loves him. Kim doesn't hate his family but knows that his father kept a lot of secrets and felt like he doesn't really love him. Living in a mafia family gave him trust issues until Chay came along. I kinda understand Kim because he never trusts anyone but, when he met chay, the epitome of pure good kid with no lies and deceit behind those big round eyes, he's confused. And even though he loves him, he can't risk being with him because of his family matters. Kim is so cool for protecting Chay secretly, and I know how sad Chay is because it's his first love, and he felt like he was deceived. Bro actually blew his 2nd chance when Chay asked if he loves him. While Kim didn't have the balls to say yes, the man broke my baby's heart so cruelly. Kim don't dare to love Chay but have the audacity to claim rights to protect him? (I'd say YEAY but my baby cried enough). He realised his mistake a tad bit too late but I really hope homie don't give up cause they're my fav couple.

Overall, VegasPete and KimChay made me cry a lottt. Especially the part where Kim sends the why don't you stay song and Chay, no matter how angry, hurt or disappointed, he can't bring himself to delete the vid. I really really hope that there's a season 2 or continuation for kimchay's story. Make it soft, fluffy but also with angst and feels

Mob family action drama, with a bit of a who done it and why, excellant script and acting.

I had no real knowledge of this apart from a few clips on Youtube and read a review from Rolling Stone Magazine, before watching this.
There are are a lot of action dramas on Netflix at the moment, with big stars and budgets to match but few match the story telling in this, a script that makes you care about the charectors, and a plot which makes sense and for once a reveal which I didn't see coming. I gasped.
If you have watched a lot of movies its interesting to see some themes reused, like the Godfather the old boss controlling and trying to find a way to weed out people who are not loyal, and goad people, into action, to reveal their intent. At the centrea of this are the two ML charectors with a very different upbringing, expectations and outlook on life. One uses charm to get by, and the other to get by, he has to hide what ever weakness he has, and lives is a shell, they are both powerful and powerless in different ways. So their story is a emotional battle, and perhaps Porsche'sgood nature and naivety as to what is going on around him is exploited the most, and he has to readjust his mindset. You fail and end up dead, and to prove your value you have to battle. In a family where every move is plotted , like chess, people who can only react to situations they can not control get hurt, and the 2nd family are just collateral damage, who can also damage others.
There are so many charectors that are memorable, which is where the script and the acting are the strength, the interplay of the other family members and the body guards, I can not think of one drama where the body guards have a personality, and allowed to have there own story, with some telling dialogue, that adds to the plot. It very funny in parts as well, which comes natually in the story telling.

Its well shot and directed, the only scene I found clunky was the opening one, the dialogue was jarring, and it looked like acting.
I am normally bored with sex scenes in dramas, they are usually there to either attract an audience, or just fill five to ten minutes they do not have to provide dialogue for, and hold up the plot, the ones in this actually add to the plot, Pete who is caputured perhaps end up with Stockholm Syndrome, an his need to please his only defence.

If you look at the negatives, I think they were mainly budget driven, the special effects not that good, and you can always tell when there is not enough money for a good OST, they play the most suitable part of Vivaldi's the Four Seasons, the songs pleasent but not that memorable.
You could say the end was tied up too neatly, but there is enough ambiguity that it could unravel. If the victor writes the history, but when does the games end?
So well worth watching, I really enjoyed it, but do not expect some slushy BL romance,

Do not watch unless you are ready to be obsessed!

This is the third drama I have watched and I regret it so much. I can’t watch any other drama without thinking of KinnPorsche. What really pulled me in was the chemistry between the cast. Not only are they talented but they are willing to do everything so the show is good. The writing is also great, the amount of jaw dropping moments is insane. One thing for sure is you will never be bored. The production wraps it all up, from the camera work to the sick action moments it is amazing. For sure is setting the new standard for BL, romance and action can exist in BL dramas.
