Watch it you won't get bored for a single second
Namra: Lazy mary sue character. She has a power due to being a hambie but we see this at the latter half of the drama when she beats gwinam at the roof. You see she has a superhuman power yet she never acts up to save others first, only at last moments. She can hear voices from far, but she doesn't hear all voices like she heard announcement she didn't hear gwinam in construction site which is so inconsistent. Once they were walking down the street and namra stopped everyone and started listening. She was hearing zombie voices. People were like what are you hearing girl. But she is slow af. She said run away. They were like why. She said zombies are coming. One girl asked how many of them are coming. She started counting 1 2 3 4 5... Counted till 11. I swear to god if they kept walking instead of stopping nothing would change. Also the actress playing her, she doesn't suit a supposedly cold and unliked character. Her facial expressions are way too cute. Especially with pouting 24/7.Suhyeok: Boring character who never lost a fight. A male mary sue. He was supposedly hanging out with bullies but he was portrayed as an angel which is so unrealistic. Cheongsan on steroids.
Onjo&Cheongsan: Them, their friends and their parents were useful for storyline and storytelling but them not having much depth didn't bother me. Not a favorite but they were nice to watch.
Eunji: She was the most entertaining character to watch. Also the one with the most deep character. It was nice to see how for her the school was a hell while for her bully it was heaven. I want to see her take revenge like in kill bill. I want to see more of her at the second season. I want her and gwinam to face each other. The actress playing her is talented cause she literally looks insane and i was scared while watching her eat chulsoo.
Gwinam: A bully who is not a confident person. Actually that could be said for all bullies. It was fun to watch him. He is a good antagonist.
Friends: They were nice to watch. Also i liked that they didn't portray fat guys as filler characters for diversity like western shows, but actually gave each of the characters including them a personality.
Commander: What a dumb ass. He did the right thing and the only thing doable at that moment and committed suicid3 like an idiot.
Detective and police: They only had one job didn't need to drag it that long.
Onjo's dad: He died too early for someone as clever as he is. But it was nice to see how he helped his daughter even after his death with those ribbons on trees.

If you want to start with Zombie apocalypse series you should try this one! ❤️
Well for me, the series is good and interesting. It's not that you'll get thrilled every second. At first I know the title itself will tell the story but it's so hard to believe that the main characters will die ( though it wasn't reveal if it's really true or maybe he is still alive and become 'hambie' ) it's so heartbreaking for me to see how this series end like that.There are so many questions need to get answer. It's just the series has lack of creative plot unlike on movie World Ward Z, Train To Busan, Flu though most of them were almost a sad ending too but they have the best ending! They find the antidote and find the solutions that will guarantee a HAPPY ENDING for everyone. So I need Season 2 to get clarify on every single details.
What I'm talking about is the story is a typical zombie apocalypse where the character need to survive. But deep inside it will also tackle about the importance of friendships and family, that bullying is BAD! and the real problem of the society.
I really like this since the character is a students cause Im a student too, I can easily relate and adapt to the story, but don't expect this will be good as World war Z, and other popular zombie apocalypse movie, cause the ending still aches my heart million times😭! But I recommend this for everyone

A nice zombie drama but nothing more
I heard a lot about "All of us are dead" and my expectations were indeed in the drama. However, I think it's not a memorable drama: it was nice to watch, there was some suspense, some gore but the story is really very (too?) basic.I would even say that there are quite a few inconsistencies in the writing... but that's not disturbing since it's not meant to be a deep drama and known for being intelligently written.
What I liked:
- The suspense left in each episode: very good endings each time that make you want to know what happens next.
- The special effects: zombies, sets, make-up, framing, editing.
- The fact that we get to know the different characters as they are really in danger.
- Being able to skip the long, uninteresting scenes and still understand the drama without being lost.
What I didn't like:
- The fact that we don't feel any sympathy for the characters who have been harassed and that they are the real black beasts: why?
- Moments in the script that don't make sense: characters who take actions for nothing and the show tries to justify it but it's not coherent. Many questions that remain unanswered and yet are central to the drama? The explanations of the origin of the virus and its evolution given by the scientist are vague, incoherent and really, we have the impression to be taken for fools.
- We follow several people at the same time, some of whom have no interest whatsoever? We focus 3 halves of the episode on characters who don't exist anymore right after and yet, they don't die... they are just erased from the scenario?
- Unnecessary scenes too long
To sum up, watchable and enjoyable but don't expect it to be the drama of the century as some people say! Have fun!

It ain't my cup of tea
I dont know what to say... its just a series that only has two actions.. one, there are zombies coming to eat the humans, two, some human in the group dies as either a self-sacrifice or a helpless thing. its just the same thing repeated throughout the series, sometimes sprinkled with unnecessary high-school crush ingredients. I dont really see why I should consider it a great production.Divergent was also a dystoptic/survival picture, but I feel like it had more plot twists and STORYLINE that AOUAD is clearly missing.

A Very Good Zombie Watch
I loved how the All of Us Are Dead zombies we're similar to those in Train to Busan, the characters even acknowledging this. The zombie actors and affects were fantastic. The characters were compelling, each with their own motivations. However, I felt that Gwinam wasn't as threatening as he could have been. Until his last fight with Cheongsan, I never felt like the characters were in that much danger, they would just throw him off the school building and go back to their business. I never really felt bored watching it, despite many scenes of just characters talking. I was shocked when they "killed" Cheongsan (I will die on the Cheongsan lives hill). Overall, I had a blast watching All of Us Are Dead and am excited to see what they do with season 2.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

I'm always saying that I can't watch horror but I keep finding more and more stuff that
fit that genre. 😂 This drama appeared in the
top ten in my country on Netflix so I gave it a
try. And overall I was pretty much satisfied.
Although the twelve episodes seemed a little
bit too much (I think that eight or ten would
be sufficient to tell the story), the drama
didn't have bland or dull moments and was
moving steadfast. The groups of characters
were interesting, my favourite would be the
main group, or the one with the archer girl,
she was amazing. 😍 I also liked the
policeman, who was trying to save everyone.
On the other hand I absolutely hated Gwi
Nam and I can't from how much he was able
to survive, like all that fallings and such. 🙄
Overall I rate All of Us Are Dead 8/10,
enjoyable but it was missing something.

Actually not bad for Netflix zombie Webtoon series!
So I decided to give the live action a go because I saw it’s No 4 in Ireland on Netflix right now and I found out that it is based off a Webtoon. Yeah it’s not a great art so definitely this was the better version personally! I may not be a fan of zombie themed stuff because they are always obvious and you know wtf was going to happen. I mean, this series isn’t any different from every zombie flick out there but at least it puts some twists and turns to make you interested. I honestly was interested with how the character Na-ra was able to look less zombish and able to jump from the roof like a ninja?! Yeah I am assuming that cliffhanger would be left to s2 or just giving us poor audience a tease to make out what really happened in our heads. Even if the ending was pretty much a very questionable one, the characters, the music and the storyline in a way were entertaining enough. Yes it is clique in some parts with,using recycled horror tropes but again, I really enjoyed it and glad I didn’t bother with the Webtoon…Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Not your basic GORE FEST
Overall, this drama is amazing! After Train to Busan, the zombie-gore genre has been hyped in the south Korean entertainment. Reaching the benchmark of amazingly produced TTB, 'ALL OF US DEAD' was an even better in terms of cinematography and production value. The makeup and graphics were on point. At some point, the intensity of the graphics were so high that i covered my eyes even if I am a huge fan of gore.But is it just the gore? No!!
The strong message of humanity was what touched me. Bullying and torment in such extreme level does actually prevails and it shows how it affects an individual. Parenthood is depicted in a beautiful way as well.
"No parent would want their child to die right?"
On-jo's dad sacrificed himself to save his daughter, Cheongsan's mom came running for her son and the school girl who just delivered her baby, tied herself up to keep her baby safe. It shows that the professor who created the virus was lead by his love for his child.
It also shows how every character is not-so-humane and depicts the character flaw. But, the horryfying thing is it didn't had any likeable character at all. The plot has its focus on each character so we can see only part of each. My favorite character has to be the teacher and the detective!
Overall, great experience. Completed in one sitting and not boring at all! The cliffhangers does its job and where do I even get started about the intro? It's by far one of the best intro i've ever seen. I loved it.

Unexpected story
I usually enjoy the zombie genre and All of Us Are Dead was no exception. The plot progression was good and the musical score helped to improve the intense moments in each episode. There was some well-timed humour that was unexpected but helped cut some of the seriousness of the scenes.However, the characters quickly became overbearing. The constant theme of "sacrifice" showed how immature the characters were. The slow reaction to life-threatening situations was frustrating and the fact that no zombies reached them in the time they were there wasting standing around was unrealistic. I had a great time binging but apart from Su-Hyeok, Na-Ra and Ha-ri, I can't say there was a single character who I consistently rooted for.

Semua aspek kehidupan di Drama ini sangat seimbang.
Untuk pertama kalinya aku bikin review untuk sebuah judul Drama Korea di MDL. Ini emang keren banget.Oke, pertama-tama aku mau sungkem dulu sama writer, sutradara, aktor, dan semua tim produksi yang terlibat. Aku salut banget cara Drama ini membawa kita ke hari-hari atau bahkan jam-jam yang membosankan sekaligus menegangkan, time-speednya tidak membuat kita merasa bingung karena terlalu cepat dan tidak terlalu lambat yang membuat kita merasa bosan.
Drama ini memang sebuah cara untuk mengetahui bagaimana "Survive" di kehidupan seperti itu. Apesnya dapet, beruntungnya juga dapet. Jadi ga semata-mata salah satu di antara lucky or unlucky memihak kita. Antara suka dan dukanya juga balance banget, bikin ketawa dan nangis dalam waktu yang berdekatan.
Aku juga acungin jempol banget untuk karakter yang bikin naik tensi kayak Na-Yeon, baru aja tahun kemaren kita sayang sama karakter yang diperanin sama Lee Yoo-Mi ini di Squid Game. Pembawaan karakternya yang egois, suka ngejudge orang tapi gaada kontribusi apa-apa sama pertahanan hidup, mana lagi ngorbanin orang-orang kesayangan, emang sih ngeselin banget. Tapi, aku agak kasian sama dia yang hidup dengan kepribadian itu. Dia bingung, tapi caranya ngomong ke orang salah.
Di satu sisi kita ringam banget sama 'musuh' yang nyebelin banget, di satu sisi lagi ada orang-orang ga banyak cocot tapi berkontribusi besar kayak Su-Hyeok sama Dae-Su, haduh mereka berdua ini emang yang paling di sayang. Si Ibu Ketua Kelas, Nam-Ra, aku salut sama ketenangan, ketegasan, dan perencanaan luar biasanya.
Petualangan mereka menyusuri ruang ke ruang, ah rasanya berproses walau sebenernya tempatnya di situ-situ aja.
Ga cuma itu, ketawa sama nangisnya juga seimbang. Kita tegang dan berkali-kali nyaksiin duka sama anak-anak SMA Hyosan (kecuali pas ada yang ngaku kebelet berak dan pada akhirnya bikin toilet darurat), aku juga ngakak banget sama tingkah laku detektif sama polisi anak SNU. Bikin tegang juga, tapi di bawa lucu aja gitu sama mereka.
Kenyataan bahwa kita bakal nyaksiin pengorbanan oleh 'kind people' dari SMA Hyosan, rata-rata emang bikin mewek. Pembangunan karakter di sini dari awal sampe akhir kek menetap gitu, yang baik ya baik, yang keras kepala sampe akhir ya gitu aja. Nyeseknya lagi pengorbanan di sini lebih banyak sia-sianya daripada yang ngga, salah satu di antaranya bahkan ngebikin pengorbanannya malah bikin makin repot. Karakter yang 'ditinggalkan' ini pun sempet down, tapi mereka harus bertahan hidup anjirrr.
Di sini kita juga belajar, kalo lagi situasi genting ini ada saatnya kita pake perasaan, ada saatnya kita harus mikir pake logika. Gimana cara ngehormatin keputusan tim, apa-apa harus fleksibel kalo mau selamat.
Chemistry Nam-Ra sama Su-Hyeok ampun banget gaada obat. Lagian ngapa dibikin bucin banget sih si Su-Hyeok, On-Jo ga jadi sadgirl of the year, kan?

Not just a zombie show
Although there's many flaws in the series and it's not exactly like the webtoon, but I appreciate the production team, the director, and all the actors + actresses involved in this series (inclusive of the zombies).It's not an easy job to act as zombie with that movements. My fav zombie is the one crawling like Sadako.
CGI nicely done, like real. School setting also looks real, make up nicely done too. Got blood here and there (expected from a zombie genre) but not excessively, just enough to show people bitten, injured, etc.
What I like:
1. The chemistry among the casts
2. The moral of the story, not about zombie (yes you need to survive from zombie) but the series remind us the most important thing, like what On Jo father said : to be healthy. The story also reflected today society, people will do anything in order to achieve their own goal (selfish), in this story is to survive once will sacrifice others. In today society is not a "physical" killing, but emotional backstabbing is also equivalent to physical killing.
Don't betray your partner, as you 're the one will die LOL... happen when Min Ji left Hyo Ryung when they are partner to run through the forest and at the end she's the one who died
3. The pacing is good
4. Great acting, especially Gwi Nam
The downside:
1. Some scenes are just too unrealistic, example On Jo father suddenly appear in front of her, he has the key to the lock door?? No sound of breaking the door and the door can suddenly open? Then afterwards why he need to lock himself with the zombie? He also can run and lock the gate from outside...
The never ending arrow supplies...
The zombie can bite fingers too right? so many hollows especially when trying to escape from the gym room...
2. Can't really understand why Ji Su only changed to become a zombie after beaten up? The father already injected the virus long before, but why the effect very slow? And also On Jo was scratch or bitten by the first zombie, but she is ok??
And some others quite not logical scenes...
But despite of those downsides overall it's enjoyable to watch (for me at least). A lot of talented young actors and actresses.. Can't wat to see their future works!

If you like gore more than story then this is for you
Just finished the drama and have so much to say, finally we got a zombie show set in modern day after train to busan. It was long overdue and I just believe korea makes the best zombie content like there's no argument there. I liked that the shows backdrop was bullying like highlighting such an serious issue with zombies somehow worked. It also showed even though there are main actors, there's no bias between each character you never know what's going to happen next and that kept me on the edge of my seat.The visual effects, makeup and acting in terms of being zombies was outstanding. I feel like the actors especially Yoon Chan Young also did a great job in displaying emotion and pain, it had me crying many times. But like people are saying some characters were just not developed enough and i agree. I wish we got more backstory than just them fighting zombies. I also liked that they showed us how the virus was resolved, otherwises most zombies shows or sci fi shows end on the main leads still fighting zombies and trying to survive. Also appreciate that they got young actors to play high school students, you can tell and it does make an difference.
That being said I know the show is getting a of cristimism in terms of its rabbit holes, but I think they still just an great job in creating an decent show within 12 episodes, could there be changes yes for sure, but i think they mainly wanted to make it an zombie show than a show filled with story and in terms of that boy did they deliver or what.
