They are both fun to watch, Shen Li is focused on one romance, Starry Love has multiple romances but the main focus is Empyrean Xuan Shang and Ye Tan's story. All of them are cuties. Both ML's fall hard once they accept that they can forgo the weird teachings and are allowed to fall in love.

During the Tang Dynasty in Yangzhou, two beautiful ladies are due to marry on the same day. Watch this drama, it is so good. At first I thought it will be waste of my time but NO IT IS REALLY GOOD. THE STORYLINE, CAST, ACTING,and male lead, female lead . They are so good. Waiting for Season 2 . If you are C Drama lover also love fighting then you can watch this.

The plots and settings are completely different, but if you like to see women supporting women and healthy relationships, these are the shows to see. The FLs have had hard lives but find support in the women around them, while the MLs are used as weapons and have rocky relationships with their fathers. Both dramas call out abuse and show how people can help each other heal.

- In The Longest Promise, Shi Ying was 3 days with only the memories of him being a crown prince, this reminded me a lot of The Starry Love, where Yetan goes to find Shaodian Youqin's soul shards and has to make all 3 soul shards fall in love with her.
-The male lead help the female lead to learn spells.
-Overall vibe is very similar

This is a must watch after The Longest Promise!!!!!
