2gether (2020)

Finally, it's not about engineering!

This series started off sooo strong, the chemistry of the MCs was amazing at the beginning. But it kind of felt like it was going nowhere after a while. It either decreased or just stayed the same. When the Tine and Sarawat were fake dating, they seemed to have a stronger chemistry, but then it just went a tiny bit downhill. One thing I didn't like is that Sarawat was so weirdly obsessed with Tine's boobs, Tine obviously didn't like the fact that he kept asking to touch them even after HIMSELF made it clear he didn't want him to. In my opinion, it wasn't the best thing.

Let me also talk about Green's character... The stereotype ???? They made him RUN after him, literally stalk him, just for Tine to date him.. Let's not forget, Tine was labeled as straight when that happened so Green looked like he was trying to turn Tine gay and stuff. I have no idea if that was the point but Green's character was portrayed so badly. That issue was the first thing I noticed.

I'm going to talk about the acting now...
I have no idea if it's just me but Bright's acting was a bit... off at some point? I don't know if it's just Sarawat's character but half the time it looked like his face was frozen.. ? Maybe he didn't like starring in a BL as a main character.
Win's acting was okay though! He knew how to show the emotions correctly, and i think it was his first series ? I'm not sure but I think he had the least experience in acting in the whole crew.

THE MUSIC????
I loved the band Scrubb, their songs are amazing and I could feel the emotions through heir voice even though I do not understand Thai.

About the rewatch value, well, I don't plan on rewatching it since it wasn't "mind-blowing" enough

Great BL starter

Good :
*Plausible story (for every couple in the series)
*Easy to follow and light story (not much drama and lots of fluff)
*Handsome actors (h*ell yeah!)
*Great soundtracks (actually fits my music choices which resulted to a thai playlist in my spotify)
*Interlinked pairings (they all lived in a small world, which is in a good way. I didn't have a problem recalling how the 3rd or nth couple is connected to the first couple's world)

Not-so-Good :
*The chemistry between most couples aren't spot on (and although I love the premise on sarawat's brother and rival, it was an agonizing experience watching them in their scenes. It was less agonizing for tine's brother and sarawat's friend but it still lacked that *snap* quality to it)

Overall :
I'm really glad this was the very first boys love series I watched. I highly recommend this to those who haven't traversed the BL world as it is light and easy to follow.

Really not find any new story ,.
A boy (sarawat)fall in love with a boy whom he saw in a concern though he already in love with some but seeing this boy ,how he enjoying the music ,made him (sarawat) fall for him (tin). Then anyhow they came together tgen everything was going okay but something happened they got separated nd then come again .
So now new I had seen in this drama but good thing about drama that they didn't stretch melodrama much .
But I like sarawat and tin story but other couple story donor have that spark or connectivity with the emotions .
Script is good but need more interesting element .
One scene I like the most though it is sad scene when tin cried ,so touchy and emotional ..
One time watch drama.

I just saw sarawats photos everywhere in my timeline. I dont give time on his photos. But then due to my curiousity, i truied to watch the episode 1, until i finished watching the first episode. I have to admit, i like it no I LOVED it. Seriously, i fall in love to Brights character. and not thinking that it would end soon. I dont know what to do if theat time came. Im wishing for eSeason 2 pleaaasae?.Seaaaaaasooooooon 2 pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee. I love thai movieeeees :< pleaaaaswe?

There are some hidden plots surprises given in the overall watching experiences. The actions of the actors are well planned with their amazing looks and the dialogs are persuasive enough to show the steps of how people falling in love.

Besides selling the two guys skinship, the small tiny detail of the expression and eye contact makes audience questions whether they truly falling in love, Bright is good in showing the expressions which is best suit the situation and the character. Win is naturally bringing himself into the character which seems no differences between his real life and the character. There are still some parts of Win over acting a bit, but it's forgivable as it's his first drama.

Glad to having this drama during the period of stuck in the house to maintain social distancing.

And honestly Bright did remind me of Leonardo cause of persuasive acting and charming looks.

Can't wait for their improvements in their actors career!

2gether is great.

People are trying to use everything to criticize 2gether. Lack of kisses, lack of courage and lack of romance. The truth is that 2gether is great. It starts from a cliché already known and saturated (fake dating) and builds a light and transparent story. He manages to build the main couple so well that he envies countless BLs who fail in this factor, and that is not an opinion, but a fact they like it or not. The Plots Twists in the series are so well planned that you would never imagine what happens later without having read Novel, and this is very important for the evolution of the script and the characters. Decayed in the last episodes? Yes. But using a lack of kiss to justify that is the most ridiculous thing I've seen these days. 2gether did need a conflict like that in his episode 12, why would it be fun to see 3 episodes in a row together and without any conflict or issue to be resolved?
The soundtrack is completely complete with the series and the characters play their roles extremely well.

The chemistry, damn.

This short and sweet review sits here as a supplement to everyone's already-existing kind words about 2gether and BrightWin...

... and starts by saying that Tine and Sarawat's pairing pulled me in with the force of Earth's gravity. It was an instant hook for me, really! Bright's cool demeanor makes one's heart flutter, yes, but also, Win's animated personality positively radiates from across the screen. Put these two together, along with a few other lovely beings (the "side" characters are charming in their own rights), toss in a feel-good, not over-the-top storyline, a sweet-sounding soundtrack, and you've got yourself a winning BL salad, good sir!

The way the show handles humor, too, is pretty great. It's actually funny because of the dialogue, and not just because the characters are out doing slapstick.

There's a sea of Thai BL out there, but regardless, even in its early episodes I really feel that 2gether deserves the praise and admiration it gets. And I dare say, BrightWin's chemistry alone is enough reason to pick up this series. The wait for every episode is painful, truly, as it is still on-going, but every episode has been nothing but complete squeal-eliciting delight. Pick it up if you haven't yet, you're definitely in for a treat!

Just perfect. The chemistry, the actors ,have been watching a lot of bls and this is one of them which get me shy also every Friday when about to be aired so so happy that i make sure to be free....nothing else to say love sarawat(bright) so much ??? i think that the adaptation after the novel is somehow good,i have been going over and over again the previous episodes ? and stills feel amazing,my fav episode been ep 5 waiting so much the kiss also how wat is just amazing we can feel the innocence,the romance and it just feel perfect for me nice piece of art this series.
