The series was really good. However, it could have been better. So, the thing is, Sarawat was supposed to be "Hungry for affection" if you will but instead of getting kisses we get head rubs, but honestly I still really like it. Obviously there were things that were different from the novel but there wasn't an major changes. However, it seems as though they had the conflict scenes too late into the drama causing things to seem rushed. We weren't able to get full closure on the other couples but that just shows that there is a possibility of getting a second season. The music that they chose for this series was absolutely amazing. SCRUBB was honestly a really good choice. I also must praise Win (actor playing Tine) on his acting. Whenever he cried, I know that most if not all viewers felt his pain.He did really good for his first series. Overall the drama was good and I would definitely rewatch this drama.

Not Too Right, Not Too Perfect, But Has Something Extraordinary

This review explores the series with a critical yet affectionate lens, delving into the adaptation’s differences from the novel, the role of music, and its broader appeal.
------
As my first foray into writing a review for a Boys' Love (BL) series, I was excited to reflect on *2gether The Series*. Based on the *2gether* novel, the series adaptation diverges in some aspects, omitting certain plot points that would have enriched the narrative. While these missing elements may have added layers of complexity, the adaptation still delivers a unique and compelling take on the story. It remains faithful to the essence of the novel while establishing its own identity, making it both enjoyable for readers of the source material and those new to the story.

The strength of *2gether* lies in how it translates its narrative into a visually and musically cohesive experience. The music is not merely a background component; it is intertwined with the storytelling itself, enhancing the emotional depth of key scenes. The choice of music, combined with its thoughtful integration, serves as a connector to the characters' emotions and the audience, making the viewing experience even more immersive. The use of harmonious, often light-hearted music complements the overall tone of the series, which is calming rather than overly dramatic.

One of the most striking aspects of *2gether* is the portrayal of the relationship between the main characters, Sarawat and Tine. Their romance is neither overly sensual nor excessively romanticized. Instead, it exudes a calm, natural charm that reflects the subtleties of young love. This understated approach allows for a more genuine connection to develop, and the chemistry between the leads feels both organic and relatable. The series chooses to emphasize emotional growth and connection over high-stakes drama, which sets it apart from more intense BL narratives. This, combined with the endearing "cuteness" of the cast, results in a show that is lighthearted yet captivating.

For viewers who, like myself, have immersed themselves in many BL series, *2gether* stands out not for its perfection, but for its ability to reignite a sense of joy and connection. It has a charm that is difficult to ignore, much like the addictive quality of early series like *Addicted Web Series*. While it is not flawless, its imperfections are part of what make it feel authentic. The storytelling isn't overly complex, but it is delivered with heart and intention, making it a refreshing watch.

Structurally, the plot develops with a satisfying intensity before culminating in a sweet and gratifying conclusion. The chain of events is well-paced and deliberate, allowing viewers to engage emotionally with the characters without feeling rushed. By the end, the story ties together naturally, leaving a sense of completeness.

Additionally, the series introduces music as a central theme, not just as a narrative device but as a form of expression that resonates deeply with the audience. Through the lens of music, *2gether* highlights how art can shape thoughts and emotions. This is particularly impactful for viewers—whether they identify as LGBTQ+ or not—who appreciate how the right chord or song can evoke powerful emotional responses. For aspiring musicians, especially those within the LGBTQ+ community, *2gether* offers inspiration by showcasing music as both a passion and a form of self-expression.

Moreover, the series' accessibility extends beyond the BL community. It appeals to a broader audience by maintaining a balance between light and serious moments, making it easy to watch without overwhelming emotional weight. In doing so, it crosses cultural and societal barriers, even reaching viewers who may not typically engage with LGBTQ+ content. By crafting a story that is universally relatable, *2gether* pushes the boundaries of comfort zones, offering a soft entry point for those who may hold biases or have limited exposure to diverse narratives.

In conclusion, *2gether The Series* may not be a flawless adaptation, but it is certainly spectacular in its own right. Its strengths lie in its simplicity, its heartfelt portrayal of relationships, and its musical integration. Whether you're new to BL series or a seasoned fan, *2gether* is sure to leave you with a smile and a renewed appreciation for both music and love.

My Choice, My Opinion.
Khop Khun Khrap!

This show was my first ever BL, and the love I have for it, and how glad I am that it introduced me to the genre, will probably never change. I'll admit that it has its flaws as other reviews have mentioned, and yet whilst they give it low ratings because of these flaws, I don't think they are as bad as everyone makes out. The show is so positive and left me genuinely happy after almost every episode. I would literally have grin ache after it, from smiling so much. My friends were all sent multiple clips of the show as I had to share the sweetness, and my entire recommendations page on YouTube is just couple edits of the two. I promise you, you won't regret watching this show.
PLOT
There isn't really much plot to this show, which I know is a gripe people had with it. Personally, I didn't care that there wasn't much plot, as it was a character-driven show anyway. The plot beats it hits are pretty good, and the scenes between the main two leads are always super cute. Some of the plot doesn't completely add up, but honestly, it's not a show where you really have to think too hard or worry about anything too much, so it doesn't matter that some reasoning is a bit far fetched at times.
CHARACTERS
I really loved the characters, and it was surprising how much they grew on me. In the beginning, I found Tine irritating, and Wat too cold, but then in the space of basically two episodes, I found myself head over heels in love with them both, Wat especially. Tine just became the biggest sweetheart ever, and I imagine his characterisation is what other writers are aiming for when they write the 'innocent' character. Usually, I dislike that kind of character, and they can come off as annoying as Tine originally did, but very quickly he became endearing and genuinely a sweetheart. Wat is my absolute favourite. I love him so much my heart physically hurts. He is so great, funny, amazing, literally every positive word I can think of I want to use to describe him. Bright has since become my favourite actor of all time, knocking Lee Jong-Suk from his four-year record. I love his facial expressions and tone of voice, and I can tell exactly what he is portraying even when he doesn't speak. There's a part later on in the show where he gets really excitable, and my heart melted. He is so affectionate and so uncompromising with who he is that he just makes me so unbelievably happy.
I do have to say that the show lacks a little with the side characters. As in, I like maybe three of them, and the rest are kind of meh. The side couples get basically nothing, which does suck, and what they do get feels too rushed. However, I wasn't really bothered too much by this, as I wasn't too attached to them, and honestly was glad that we spent most of the screen time focusing on our main couple, as they were my favourite part of the show.
ROMANCE
I have seen a lot of Thai dramas, and so I had already psyched myself up for some questionable relationship choices, and the almost certainty of getting sexual assault used somewhere in the show. It was amazing to find that 2gether didn't have this. At all. Tine and Sarawat were an adorable, healthy couple, who I adored.
I understand that some people didn't feel the chemistry between them, which is fine, everyone's entitled to their opinions, but I do disagree. Their relationship wasn't a passionate, burning love where they were kissing and all over each other 24/7 like I think a lot of people wanted; they were sweet and understanding and were cute rather than 'hot'. Some people also commented that when they finally get together, they don't have as strong chemistry, which again, I can see, but I don't think it was a big problem. They still had chemistry, it was just more understated, we could relax more, as we were no longer trying to get them together, we were just enjoying them being as such. I do have to agree that the final three episodes were the weakest of the show, though that fault falls with the writing, not the actors. The final episodes were there to inject one last bit of drama into an otherwise pretty drama-free show- they weren't a 'high stakes, misunderstandings rife through every episode' sort of couple, and they actually communicated well most of the time- and that was the only part that fell through for me. The changes the characters had to go through just to have some semblance of drama was frustrating, and it really did feel like watching a completely new character on screen. However despite that, they resolve that issue very quickly, and the rest of the romance is actually really great. Tine and Wat are my new all-time favourite cutest couple.
OVERALL
I adored this show. It started off so strong, that even when it dipped a bit, (and honestly it was only a little, little bit) it wasn't bad, and I think it brought it back multiple times. I spent every episode clutching my pillow and squealing at the cuteness, replaying most scenes multiple times. It was a nice change from the typical drama in other shows, as it was just about watching two characters fall for each other. I'll admit that a big part of why I first started to watch the show was for the visuals that are Win and Bright, however I disagree with those that say that is the only redeeming quality of the show. 2gether was a show that had little problems bar one blip near the end; it was literally just a romance, getting the two main characters together, and having them be as sweet as possible. That's really it. I get that having a show with little to no consequences isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine, but personally, I liked having a show where I didn't have to worry all the time, where I wasn't on edge about someone getting seriously injured, or about big secrets coming out or any of the other slew of angst usually in these shows. I also loved that I didn't have to worry morally over whether I could support these characters. I watched another BL straight after this, and the difference is astounding. The other BL was so morally terrible, that it only served to highlight how amazing this show was, and it was nice to not feel bad about liking any of the characters, as they hadn't done heinous things.
Others weren't a fan of the finale, however I think the final half of it was pretty good, and the forty minutes of frustration I had over the end of episode twelve and the beginning of thirteen, was acceptable when surrounded by the context of an otherwise, in my opinion, perfect show. I seriously cannot explain in proper words how this show made me feel, how much I loved the characters, and the adoration I have for the actors. Even if the latter half of the show isn't for you, the ending is still happy, and the rest of the show is most definitely worth it. Anyway, that concludes my way too long review; if you're hesitant about watching this show because the top two reviews are pretty abysmal, I'd say to give it a try anyway, it really is way better than the reviews make it sound.

Okay, after watching this drama, I can never go back to straight dramas. It has the same lighthearted elements, but I don't know what it is about 2gether that is so different. I rewatched it three times now and am reading the novel. The cast chemistry is just amazing, not just the leads and romance wise, but friendship too. Win(tine) I also really talented for being a new actor and this being his first project. And Bright(sarawat) literally stole my heart. It a perfect drama if you want something lighthearted and fun with a happy ending.

I've watched a lot of BL series and so far, this is the first time that I got hooked and felt a separation anxiety when it ended. I never felt separation anxiety from any series or movies. But this one really did it.

And despite with the disappointments from the last episode(s), I'd still give this series a 9. To be honest, if not for some of those disappointments, I would give this a 10.

Why? I'm not going to be technical here, I'm not an expert on that. But this series made me feel romantically excited with every episodes. It made all of my weekends (during covid19) less stressful.

Sure, they somehow lost that spark when they were together or showed less intimacy during the last episode, but hey, I'd be betraying all those good feels that we felt when we watched this series if I'm going to give this less than 9.

Bright and Win really did great portraying Sarawat and Tine's characters.

My Favorite episode(s)/Scene(s):
Episode 7 - It's when Tine realized his love towards Sarawat. and that line "You don't need to like me that much. Just keep your heart open for me." from Sarawat.
Episode 10 - everything in this episode about tine and sarawat
Episode 11 - That old clip from Sarawat and the backstory POV of Sarawat is sooo dammmn goood.

Scenes:
- When they watched P'Dim's band and yet they listened to Everything by Scrubb together.
- That scene when they watched SCRUBB concert together and Win sat on the fence while his hand is on Sarawat's shoulder. That felt real.
- All of the "couch" scenes *wink*
- The proposal scene "will you marry me" really got me big time
- The scene where Tine hugged Sarawat and asked about Pam. I felt that.
- That crying scene from Tine really put me to tears. He's really good.

All songs from SCRUBB are sooo daaammn goooood. I'm an instant fan. Although I don't know any thai language but whenever I listen to to their songs especially those songs in the series, I feel so good.

Just like what Sarawat said "You don't need to understand music. You just need to feel it". That's what the songs from SCRUBB really did.

I am really hoping for a special episode and of course, like everyone does, I am also hoping for a Season 2.

I'd still re-watch this from episode 1 and relive all those positive things that I felt from this series . :)

Actually I'm a newbie in this kind of genre of series I just watched 2gether because, it became a trend in the social media platforms and so I tried watching it. After watching those 4 episodes I just found myself smiling and blushing all the way. While waiting for the next episodes I tried watching some other BL series. Then I realized 2gether is not your ordinary BL series the actors have that chemistry that has the same level with KristSingto but on a different time and year.

So now let's start, for the story actually is not common why? because in my entire life I haven't watch any series or movies that contains a storyline like this. There is something special in its story that will make you go and watch for the next episode. It's like your always hungry after every episode. You are looking forward to something but then for the next episode it will give you something out of the box. BrightWin actually did a great job in portraying the role of Sarawat and Time kudos to them. The chemistry Bright and Win is actually superb and effortless no need for a lot of intimate scenes because, just bright staring at Win will make you feel like the line "Kiss until you drop". That's for the actors my two hands are not enough on racing them. The series also became more fond to watch because of the song choices, it is my first time listening to Scrubb songs and the songs are stuck in my mind I even downloaded e every songs in this series. While you listen to the song you can imagine the scene and it is exactly what the song would like to show in the series. As of now I know it takes time for me to move on in this series because it has a special place in my heart after long years I'll be rewatching it over and over again because I learned here that if you people are meant to each other no matter what happen you'll meet at the right time in the right place in the right moment. Love has no gender and boundaries. I hope everyone will find the love that they deserve and that will give them happiness.

I love BrightWin , waiting for season 2

2gether's story is pretty light-hearted, fluffy and predictable (although its not necessarily a bad thing). I genuinely like the music incorporated with the drama, especially Scrubb songs which made scenes of Sarawat and Tine very special. Despite the Cliches and predictability, I felt it was a bit refreshing to see these cliches because of the Chemistry of Sarawat and Tine. It's also nice that Tine didn't despise the fact that he's starting to like Sarawat, he evens reflects on it and even tells his friends. The way he deals with it is refreshing for a BL character. I also love the buildup that Sarawat and Tine had during Episode 11.

Some of the ways that plot got driven didn't make sense to me, an example is using Green as a way for Sarawat and Tine to meet and initiate a "Fake Dating" relationship (There are more in the following paragraphs). Because I feel like there were more grounded ways of dealing with Green, rather than fake dating, and I really like Green's character, but the way he got treated made the first few episodes a bit odd for me.

Despite this, I genuinely love the bonding of Sarawat and Tine, both Fake Dating and Real Dating Stage, and it's one of the series' highlights for me. They're interactions are very wholesome, supplemented with their love for music. This is especially highlighted with scenes that shows them singing or listening to Scrubb songs. It actually made me listen to Scrubb ヾ(≧▽≦*)o. Even if the big reveal for the reason Sarawat likes Tine is a bit cliche, I genuinely loved it and made me cheer for them even more, couple that with Scrubb songs as part of the BGM.

The cliches and predictability of the plot is alright, but it kind of fell flat during the finale, I know they are bound to make up, but the aftermath of that felt a bit disappointing. The finale felt a bit rushed and heavily relied on flashbacks, rather than further giving characters more interaction. Some characters felt underdeveloped, particularly Phukong and Mil, I felt that they had great potential as a couple but ended a bit forced in the finale. Mil was mostly seen as the guy who goes between Sarawat and Tine, which I felt could have been replaced with more development between him and Phukong. Green for me, is also a bit underdeveloped as he started to get less attention in the middle of the season. It only made him a Plot Device, which is disappointing, because Green's Character is Genuinely Likable.

The main conflict in Episode 12, was a bit off in terms of how it was resolved. Sarawat could have easily told Pam that he's dating Tine. If he really loved Tine for so long. Instead, they made up when Tine listened to the song Sarawat wrote for him in the Flash drive. They honestly could have talked it out when Sarawat went to Fong's place to get his guitar (although getting his guitar kind of felt mean on Sarawat's side), and if Sarawat set the record straight, from the beginning.

How Sarawat deals with the situation when he got caught was pretty odd, he didn't visit Tine in the Hospital, he tried to talked to him, but never tried again, only waiting by chance during the Music Contest, and never even begs Tine not to move out. Which is one of the flaws that stood out during the season finale and episode 12. It felt like Sarawat distanced himself from Thine and doesn't try hard enough to win him back. Ironically, Pam is one the reasons they made up. If it weren't for her giving Tine the Flash drive, he wouldn't even consider, getting back with Sarawat. Which in my opinion, is a bad way of making up conflicts.

Despite the play safe finale, underdeveloped characters, unnecessary plot devices and ways of dealing with conflict, I genuinely liked the Show, especially the musical aspects of it and the chemistry of the couples in it (all of the couple interaction was genuinely wholesome o((>ω< ))o). It introduced me to a lot of new things as this is my first Thai BL and exposure to Scrubb songs. I would definitely read the novel after watching the series as I genuinely like Sarawat and Tine and I want to see more development
(and possibly fill in the disappointment I had with the Finale, ( ̄﹏ ̄;)).
But nonetheless, 2gether is a delight to watch despite of its flaws.

The best BL series I've ever watched!

I am aware that many people got disappointed because it didn't have so much skinship, but still the story, the execution, the acting, the music, the actors, they all captured millions of fans around the world!!!

I will watch this many times over again. And won't get tired of it.

This series also made me listen to a lot of Thai songs, though I don't understand the lyrics, but I can feel the love and the message of the songs!!

Thank you 2gether the series for coming to our lives!!!

I’m new to BL shows and I found this show by looking up what cast members of SOTUS are doing now. Therefore I followed Gun (Prem in SOTUS, Boss in 2Gether). The show was already on episode 12 when I started but I did watch episode 13 on the day it was released.

I have very shallow reasons for loving this show as much as I do. Overall I have rated 7 for various reasons but the rewatch value is 10 because I honestly could watch Bright forever.

I liked the chemistry, the (not enough) kisses, the music (never heard of Scrubb before but I liked it) and the angst.

I had a problem with the following:

The way Green was treated - yes he was a plot device and a pain in the ass, but there was no need to be so mean to him, especially when Tine then went and stalked Sarawat and Man stalked Type. Also, trying to drug Green? How is that acceptable?

What happened to the kisses - they became an actual couple and suddenly no kissing - not even at the reconciliation scene at the end - we got a high five instead? Were the socially distancing at that point in filming due to Covid? If so, understandable, but there was other touching. Also, lack of sex once they moved into together - poor old Sarawat was still begging for a kiss on the cheek even then!

Mil and Phukong - kid, he’s just not that into you, give it a rest okay?

Females - hardly any girls in this show and then along comes Pam to put a spanner in the works and become the villain. It was a poor attempt. Also my 80 year old gran is called Pam so I found the name a bit fuddy duddy!

The whole Pam thing - these last couple of episodes were really poor. Could’ve made so much better drama with just a couple of changes like maybe Sarawat doesn’t see that Tine has seen him hugging Pam and then sees Tine leaving with Mil. Sarawat then thinks Tine has left him for Mil. In fact, I think I might have to fanfic that if someone hasn’t already...

So the highlights are Bright, Bright, Bright.... and the music. I’m also loving the fan fiction this show has generated which has way better endings than the actual show.

Still, roll on the five new episodes they just announced. I’m crossing my fingers for kissing and more scenes with Bright without his top on.

Honestly I know alot of people had high expectations for this. I'm not a picky watcher so I watch dramas based on edits that I see on YouTube, the only thing I'm cautious of is if the acting is cringey, the reason why I decided to watch it was because it wasn't cringey for me. But I really don't understand the low ratings for this because I really enjoyed it. I think they weren't satisfied with how the ending was . I personally really am thankful for noticing this series because I loved it from beginning to end. I noticed not many people liked how after ep 10 Sarawats character became careless and I truly understand that after they broke up (I dont remember what episode it was) there wasn't alot of emotions left in the last few episodes. They did end up getting back together and I think since the last episode was nearing everyone wanted a last kiss scene from them but they didn't receive it. All the characters in the drama had a happy ending so as long as they get one then my time watching this drama was worthy. If you really like jealousy scenes then I suggest this drama is the right one for you. Over all I think this drama was amazing and I hope those of you who did give this drama a low rating dont come at me because I just wanted to state my opinion on this, I understand we all have different opinions on this so I trully respect each one of your opinions :)

Everything has a good side and bad side

Good points
Actually, I love 2gether. Every time I finish watching, I always say "This is the best episode". At first, I thought 2gether was a simple and fresh series. Not too light but also not too heavy. Everything feels right and perfect. I think this is what makes people like this series. Until episode 10, I couldn't choose which episode was the best, because every episodes was great in my opinion. This series makes me always hope every day to be Friday. In fact, I can rewatch each episodes 2-5 times. Until episode 10, I dare say that I prefer the series version over the novel version. I feel the storyline and also the character's personality are better in the series. Not only the storyline is good, but also the acting abilities of the actors are extraordinary. There was a strong chemistry between Tine and sarawat even from the beginning they met. The other characters also play well in this series. My favorite character is Green, thanks to him Sarawat and Tine can meet. 2gether not only make me like Tine and Sarawat, but also with other characters.

Bad points
The first 10 episodes were too good so I had high expectations for the ending. In the end, I was disappointed. The thing that disappointed me the most was Pam's character. Actually, Pam's character in the novel is only an old friend of Sarawat who wants to just meet Sarawat, but the character is changed in the series. I know this change to add drama. But, as I said at the beginning of the appeal of this series is a simple story. Problem like third person in this series is exaggerated. 2gether's main appeal was lost because of that. Chemistry between Sarawat and Tine is also seems lost, instead lovers they seem like roommates or brothers. I am disappointed with the ending of 2gether, because I feel this series has the potential to be better than that.
