Little Forest (2018)

Both are a slice of life with a small town/countryside setting and focus on food. Both have a similar vibe and tone.

If you love Kim Tae Ri then this is a great follow up series. She plays a youthful main character in both of these titles and embodies her characters so well!

I'm recommending the korean vr becasue that's all I saw. but both are about a female character who leaves her life behind and take a break to heal their souls.

Both movies about young people were not happy in the city
They found peace and harmony in the village
They learned surviving skill, simple life style, and live rich and healthy daily life in small and lovely space

Both movies take place in beautiful settings & depict an idealized country life. Both have bittersweet open endings.

Both josee and little forest have that monotonal vibe, silent, sad, alone and separated from the world
Healing, cold and depressing

This movie brings me back to my Reply 1988 days! They both highlighted family and friendships. Both are character-driven shows, with captivating characters who kept me invested to keep me watching throughout. Both shows really make me hungry because they both feature a lot of delicious food, cooking, and eating together. Little Forest is short and sweet (only 1 hour 40 minutes), while Reply 1988 is much longer (20 episodes, each being 90-120 mins). Since they're both so lovely and peaceful, you might want to give them a watch!

Also, Ryu Joon Yeol played in both dramas?! Just when his character appears in Little Forest, I remember Jung Hwan instantly!^^

Both were about a single woman liking and living in country village. It is beautiful in every angle. Thst including the people, the air, the food etc.

Both are beautifully film. Forest smell, wind, green. Country side vibe. Artistic. Very organic. One can just close the eyes, let the sense do the work.

Living simple. Village, country, self sufficient. Living minimal. Fresh air, making meal and be happy. Beautiful simple life.

These women in the movies know exactly what she want. Friends are together at good time, but they became selfish during hard time. Love became a challenge with financial difficulty.

They are not same, but I believe if one loves to watch the "Perfect Days", she/he might love "Little Forest" too. Both portray solitude and how to be happy by your own company.
