Little Forest (2018)

I recommend this both drama because , Male lead and Female lead
try to solve problem
In one drama explosion and another student murder/suicide

The chinese drama and the movie are similar in sense that they portray the theme of escaping from the hustle-bustle of city life to the serene and peaceful countryside. In both cases FLs are dealing with some issues and they want want an escape.
The other similarity is that they are both are full of warmth and message of healing of heart. Then there's the added bonus of different mouth watering food in both.

While the Korean version stole my heart, the original Japanese version of Little forest was also a great watch. It keeps the peaceful feeling of the Korean version but with more time to flesh out the characters and the story. It is also interesting to see how the recipes differ.

The original version of Little Forest that was split into two parts is a great watch. While the Korean version holds my heart I like to watch this version every once in a while as it has the same peaceful feel and really great cooking scenes!

both happen in a rural place where everything is less hectic than the bustling city, and both female lead's kinda moved back to their childhood home to get away from it all..

This is also a healing drama like this movie, with such a beautiful, whimsical story angling so beautiful scenes that you'll feel healed of all your scars. Literally, this one starts slow but you'll find really hard to get over it.

Happy Old Year and Little Forest are both slow and healing. one was about cooking and one was about cleaning

The movie Canola is set on Jeju Island and mainly focuses on the relationship between grandmother and granddaughter. But, the movie is nice as it centres around the main character.

Little Forest and Recipe for Farewell are both calm, healing, slice-of-life dramas about grief that show a lot of food preparation and cooking.

Both movies has lots of similarity, such as picking wild weed, the cooking, the appreciation of flowers, the gentle tone, soft conversation, food, cuisine, just love it.

Nature beauty, culture, belief, peace, simplicity, Serenity, beauty within, inner peace, feel it, taste it, life lessen, tradition righteous,

healing slice-of-life stories set in the countryside with cinematic cooking and eating scene. personally, the cinematography of the makanai closer to korean adaptation of little forest rather than the japanese adaptation.

Slice of life films focusing on food and interpersonal relationships. With Rolling Girl being specifically set during Covid-19 pandemic.

Both movies has gentle, soft, kind, peaceful, lovely tone. Love others, making delicious simple food. Get away from stressful city life and learned to be at ease with simplicity lifestyle

House of Hummingbird resonates with Little Forest (2018) through its exploration of returning to one’s roots for self-discovery. Both stories emphasize the importance of finding one’s place in the world and the healing power of nature and home.
