This is a solid watch!! Worth it !!

This is a solid !! The fact that I was somewhat in a drama coma with all the new releases left and right ; & was looking for something to watch to get me out of the funk.. found this randomly and got hooked, even with 19 episodes!!

I wasn’t sure but I like the main lead & decided to try 2 episodes, and I enjoyed it from episode 1.. glad i got to binge watch and not when it was airing 😄

Slow burn, angst, romance, fluff..
This is set in supposed 1940’s-1950’s Thailand..
Thé lifestyle, values, experiences & exposures were incredibly different..

Some characters and the love story is insufferable 😩 but a great ending.. I wanted more of their love. . Rare for drama endings to make me want more, but I wanted more of the fluff in the end… 🥹😅🤭

Cadre original pour une histoire classique d'amour avec des personnages attachants

J'aime beaucoup l'acteur principal qui incarne un personnage aux multiples facettes : humour, maladresse, droiture, valeurs, intelligence du coeur et quelques parts d'ombre. Un hero maladroit.
Je reconnais qu'il n'y a pas d'alchimie pour l'instant entre l'héroïne et lui mais elle est dans la phase où elle le repousse car il n'est que de passage et engagé ailleurs. Toutefois le personnage féminin est intéressant. C'est une femme forte, cultivée, élevée par une famille américaine avec des valeurs pour toutes vies et d'intégrité.
Les personnages secondaires sont également attachants et pour une fois le personnage américain n'est pas un méchant ou complètement stupide.
Les femmes ont un grand rôle dans cette série. C'est une série qui parlent des différentes vues des femmes : mère au foyer, mère par inadvertance, femme avec de hauts postes, femme trahie, femme qui décide de son corps ou de son futur.Les hommes sont plutôt des "méchants"ou des personnages fourbes.
Ce n'est pour l'instant pas une grande série car c'est une histoire classique mais c'est une histoire qui est intéressante par ses différents personnages

finally, a drama where the leads are in their 40s. it feels so refreshing to see a love story that reflects the maturity, depth, and complexities of relationships at this stage in life. i can’t help but smile a lot while watching this—a truly uplifting way to start 2025!

in addition, it’s even more interesting since this drama gives an insight into how a headhunter works, a job that i’m unfamiliar with and have never seen in a drama before.

so far, it’s very lighthearted, cute, and entertaining 🥰

Satisfying

The satisfaction I received everytime. If you don't like looking at blo*d then don't watch it, i could literally heard blo*d burst from their body. Kind off scary and disgusting. But it was really satisfying to watch.
As i watch the drama, I suddenly remembered the movie Witch since they're kind off similar. Its also similar to Uncanny Counter but remove the horror. Idk if you also felt similar to that.
If you're a closed minded person and don't like nud*ty and excessive blo*od, then don't watch it. But if you like it then watch it.
(if there's s2, please please, explain their powers, its so annoying to watch not knowing their powers)

Amazing drama, it's actually a piece of art for me.

Something about this series is that each character has their own story and each character has a meaningful message that the creators of this series want to convey to the viewer, and this kind of depth is hard to find. The story is incredibly interesting, and even the supporting roles seem to have their own lives, I love that each episode is better than the one before it, each episode reveals a new mystery and secret and tells the story of a specific character. I am someone who, when I watch series, always looks for the scenario that carries a deep meaning and motivates the viewer and tries to convey a message that you find you need (I am talking about this because I found lines that have a deep and beautiful meaning that I needed in a difficult period, this drama came at the right time)

The cast is absolutely amazing, hats off to all of them! Can we talk about the soundtrack, it is amazing. Sa Dingding nailed it! It is almost perfect. Zhou shen , I also loved his voice, his voice has always been beautiful, soft, deep and sweet. In this drama i can never skip the intro and this is rare for me.

the CGI is so so pretty and a magic work . The plot, storytelling, acting, and visual effects are all perfect! The plot twists are beautiful, the stories connect beautifully with each other, and the progression and character development in this drama is not slow but smooth and precise.

I recommend it to everyone even if you are not a huge fan of fantasy drama but this is a must watch drama.

Je pensais que je vais aimer ce drama....

Ce drama me rappelle la telenovela Revanche d'Ana, qui est l'une de mes séries préférées. C'est pour cette raison que j'ai décidé de regarder Eve.

Cependant, je n'ai pas vraiment accroché à ce drama. Je trouve que l'idée de l'histoire est bonne et intéressante, mais la manière dont les vengeances sont mises en scène n'est pas convaincante à mes yeux. C'est mon avis, mais il y a quelque chose qui me semble incohérent dans l'histoire. Par exemple, le fait qu'elle séduise et que le président tombe aussi rapidement sous son charme me paraît mal développé.

Malheureusement, après l'épisode 6, j'ai fini par sauter directement à la fin. Je donne une note de 6, car j'étais tout de même curieuse de découvrir comment l'histoire se terminait, malgré ses défauts.

Perfect Weekend Dope of Mush...Watch it

Steeped in adorable moments, sizzling chemistry for all the pairs so far, great screenplay, and production values and a story that lets you feel good unapologetically without having to tax your brain too much, and yet retains a refreshing quality.....this show never disappoints in delivering the goodies so far... I have come to call it my 'Weekend Dope of Mush'

BL needle score: 9 . Very high BL-ness

When this series started I was wondering, if they will be able to keep us glued for all 24 episodes and more than 6 months!!! After the first 10 episodes, I am finding myself wishing that they had more than 24.

While I will write more detailed review later, for now, if you are not watching this and love feel-good, romantic stories that tug at your heart, go watch it now!

Gaurdian of the dafeng supremacy ? a big yes

Gotd gives me the best starting of 2025 , this becomes my ultimate favorite, lets talk about the drama.
This drama gives me all kind of emotion happy, sad, angry, every charcters have different shades, i can't believe every other episode i am laughing, this drana is intresting from beginning to end, this drama is so unpredictable you never know what will happen next, they use various characters perfectly its a big cast drama and they use it perfectly.

XU QI AN - he is the best, its not like he is perfect man who never lie, scared, laugh, still he is the best. He is powerful who protect innocent, never do any wrong to others, he teases his closed ones alot, he is such a funny, sawage character, he is always make other laugh never get sad when they say anything bad to him but he give timely justice to others he is very serious in giving justice, Dylan give xu qi an complete justice for me xu qi an is dylan and dylan is xu qi an, he plays xu qi an emotions very well. He has very good relationship with various people, he has big family , he make family where ever he goes

XU QI AN with his love of life LIN AN -
He comes across various women but he gets attracted to only her, he is so in love with her without even realising though they don't show them much but we can still feel his love for lin an. He sees various women getting emotional but he feels lin an emotions he can't see her crying, he feel sad for other but can't do anything but hug lin an when she cries, their every interaction holds various emotions, their first kiss hold lin an emotional stage when she lose her close one and he is the only one left who genuinely care for he, their hug hold emotions as lin an thinks he died and when she see him alive she gets elated to see him last time she comes to dafeng capital without any break, their 2nd kiss in modern life is what xu qi an dream for future with lin an not kiss but his life with her but not fulfilled, their 3rd kiss hold confession before he go to long journey and she takes care of his family, when he is fighting with tianyu she cheers him the most and he gets the strength when he sees her trust in him, she is the only one who remember her moments with xu qi an after their memory erased.

XU QI AN and His FAMILY-
his family is one of the best family and effortlessly funny too, at first his aunt doesn't like him but slowly she started to like him and care for him a lot, family man of this family is not a typical one from other dramas he care for family and does not have any ego and he is very funny, his brother cijiu he is the most petty, funny character in the family with intelligence too, both sister are very cute, they all love each other deeply, aunt and cijiu never gets jealous of xu qi an when he gets recognition from others instead they supported him and protecting him unlike other who gets jealous of their cousins achievement, whenever this family come on your screen then you are going to laugh a lot on their entics , xu qi an use xinian name and xinian has to suffer and everytime its so si funny, i cant stop laughing

XU QI AN with His GAURDIAN family -
He gets one of the best people in his who never gets jealous of his success, iconic trio of the drama belongs to this family - song ting feng, xu qi an and zhu guang xiao they are like dumb dumber dumbest group who make you laugh and emotional too, they supports him the most , they gets so excited when they see xu qi an ability, li yu chun's love hate relationship with xu qi an , first he hate him but when he started to like him then he love him so much like younger brother and protect him, his senior yang yan who cares for him a lot and yang yan is so cool and mr nangrong is cool as well and all other gongs too, finally Lord Wei he is like father figure for xu qi an who protects him at all cost, everyone in the gaurdian protects xu qi an at all cost even of their lives are in danger

XU QI AN with His BUREAU Family-
He has very good relationship with the bureau and he make this relationship with the help of the chemistry he learn in modern world, song senior and chu cai wei helps him whenever he needed, they have very happy interactions, Supervisor who is no 1 powerful person and he protects xu qi an without even making it known to him and the competitor of xu qi an and most funny character of bureau is yang qian huan who always wants to compete with xu qi an but also protect him when xu qi an needs

XU QI AN with His JADE MIRROR Family-
This family is just amazing, all characters is powerful and help xu qi an in his mission, jinlin at first i think he might want xu qi an in danger but he protects him alot, no 4 and no 2 helps him a lot too, their interactions are very funny too, he never tells them his real identity still they always help him a lot, they are always present their whenever they need help

Xu qi an gets help from everyone but he always helps others the most and protect them .
This Drama is definitely worth watching so just watch it for me this drama only has pros and no cons for me.

Yall complain too much. Happiness is one of the best zombie series out there unless you want to see thousands of zombies. I see most poeple here are annoyed of the side characters or the music or the leads. Im going to break it down for you so that you can judge for yourself whether it is worth watching or now.

Story:
In the kdrama happiness we see a zombie apocalypse outbreaking in a multistoried apartment complex. All the residents are stuck here and if an infected person bites another person they turn into a zombie. However one goes back back to normal for sometime before becoming a zombie again so its quite hard to tell who is a zombie and who isn't. Quite interesting right? If you are wanting to see people getting chased by a million zombies to the point you can't keep count ( like all of us are dead) then happiness might not be the kdrama you are currently looking for. The story is well written and organized and i was hooked till the very end.


Cast:
The leads of this kdrama are Han hyo joo and Park hyung sik. This was my first time watching Han hyo joo's performance and she nailed it. I loved her badass personality here and her willing to do anything to save her man ( park Hyung sik). I saw multiple Park hyung sik kdramas before and by far he performed one of his best performances in happiness. Though there was minimal romance between the leads the chemistry was so strong. It felt very real. The leads have been close friends for a very long time now.



Side characters:
Honestly seeing people so frustrated about the side characters is so funny. Think about it you live in an apartment complex and there is a zombie apocalypse do you really expect all people to act wisely? I must admit some characters were dumb but it wouldn't be fun and entertaining if all characters acted very mature and didn't take silly decisions. I laughed hard because of the 6th floor man since he couldn't sit straight and would end up doing the stupidest things. The conflicts caused kept the drama going. I dont blame the side characters at all. It was rather fun to see different people from each floor with different personalities.

Music:
I don't even get what annoyed people about its its background sound/music. For me the calm BG that happiness had went perfectly with the story and other elements of the kdrama. You cannot expect osts from crash landing on you or hometown cha cha cha to be played in a zombie kdrama.

Ending:
The ending was logical. They found and solution which lead to the ending it was that simple. However i was sad seeing the kdrama end because i was so addicted to it that i kept on wanting to see more. Speaking of the ending we are at the very end of my review of "happiness". Now its upto you if you want to watch it or not ( GO WATCH IT ITS LITERALLY SO GOOD YOU WON'T REGRET ONE BIT TRUST ME)

C-dramma carino ma un po' noioso!

Un c dramma carino ma purtroppo troppo scontato e un poco noioso.
La solita storia di lui CEO ricco e con qualche disturbo che per contratto deve prendere fidanzata.
C'è un piccolo imprevisto ma poi finisce per innamorarsi a prima vista.Ci sono tutti i cliché e tutte le cose viste e riviste anche un po forzate.Il triangolo amoroso da entrambe le parti, la gemella cattiva e il trauma che persecuta lui.Gli amici innamorati che però sono davvero carini e divertenti.
Protagonisti bellini ma nonostante la complicità con baci pochi ma appassionati non convince molto.
Finale ok.
Consiglio la visione per un passatempo non impegnativo.

Gamers don't need a dating website because they can make good matches while gaming🎧. Our protags are fans of the RPG (role playing game) Chinese Ghost Story. FL, Wei Wei even has an in-game spouse - until she gets dumped. She won't be in the dumps for long, though: Her white knight is in the wings. Computers don't just facilitate hook-ups; they make identity theft pretty easy, too. While Er Xi may not have stolen Wei Wei's 🆔, she did borrow Wei Wei's CGS game character, which leads Wei Wei's crush to pursue Er Xi in the game, thinking he's hanging out virtually with Wei Wei. It also leads men at Er Xi's summer internship to believe that she's the top female CGS player. Er Xi, unawares, is getting all kinds of attention in the name of Bei Wei Wei, and Bei Wei Wei wouldn't have it any other way-way-way.

L020 is a 2016 release that is rated 8.3 on MDL. It is 1 season consisting of 30 45-minute episodes. It's obvious that the show was a precursor to the King's Avatar which also stars Yang Yang. (KA is great, but it contains no romance. It's about a RPG competition). Our FL, Bei Wei Wei, is jilted by her in-game husband in ep1. Many players suspect that she's not really a girl because she refuses to post photos online, and no other chick has come close to her top-tier ranking. Because of laptop problems she ends up having to complete a duel at an internet cafe where our ML, Xiao Nai, (the top-ranked player) gets a l👀k at her in the middle of her spectacular gameplay. He knows who she is now, but she didn't look back at him to see him looking back at her, as it says on Mr. Girlie's shirt. She don't look like no dude! She's😍gorgeous. When Bei Wei Wei's game character shows up to her ex's new in-game wedding, our ML is there as well. He proposes marriage to her. It's just a gaming marriage, but for her it's Cinderella✨time.

Xiao Nai, or Yi Xiao Nai He, as he's known in the game (Yang Yang), is a student of legendary popularity. He's the best looking, he's the smartest, and he's even good at 🏀. But he's as cold as a snow leopard's claws in January. He and his roommates/his bros have designed a new game and are preparing to launch it soon. Zheng Shuang plays FL, Bei Wei Wei / Lu Wei Wei Wei. She's a computer major and she's also the Belle of the Computer department. Between school, tutoring, and gaming, she has no time for love. Being pretty attracts jealous attention from other women, especially a couple of the mean girls on campus. Wei Wei and her dorm-mates apply for an internship at one of the big software companies that wants to buy Xiao Nai's game. Her identity, in part, gets switched with her perky and adorable roomie, Zhao Er Xi (Mao Xiao Tong) because Er Xi panicked in her interview and gave them Wei Wei's game 🆔 as her own. This leads to identity mix-ups. Several people believe they've met the gamer Lu Wei Wei IRL, but they've actually met Er Xi.

Wei Wei's new game marriage is wonderful💖. She starts to wonder about who the person is behind her game husband's character, Nai He. Should she meet him? In the meantime, back at school, Xiao Nai unexpectedly sits next to her in class(?!). Then Nai He wants to meet. She goes to the rendezvous point… Why is Xiao Nai, the untouchable legend, hanging around here today? Imagine her shock when he scoops her up, takes her to the inter-department basketball game and then lets e'erbody know they are now dating. The way it plays out is fun. They already got to know eachother online. He's way ahead of her as he's been able to observe her IRL for awhile, and when he makes a move, it's for the win. The rest of the show is dealing with the petty tricks, jealousy and fallout that happens when these two popular items are removed from the shelf. They are each taken, now, and not everyone has an easy time accepting that without a fight.

For a modern-day Chinese feature this is pretty good.

Yang Yang,who plays the ML, Xiao Nai, does sell the viewer on his attraction to our FL, and he manages some top notch romantic moments. His voice in L020 and You Are My Glory sounds deep-fake. I think his voice in Kings's Avatar is the real him. Can he act? I wasn't sure that he could, going into this show. I've only seen him play all-powerful all-knowing slightly smug male leads, and I've only seen him in modern-day Chinese features, which are completely different from Chinese fantasy and historical features. It's time to watch Who Rules The World to crystallize his assessment. Regardless of acting skill, he's quite beautiful, and he also contributes to the soundtrack. He's no Kun Chen (from The Rise of the Phoenixes) but he'll do. His game hair is awful, like Qin Dynasty politician hair.

Zheng Shuang is the FL., Bei Wei Wei. She's sweet and demure. She remains too demure throughout the show which gets a tad tedious. Mao Xiao Tong plays her BFF Zhao Er Xi. Despite references to her average looks, she is an adorable pixie. She actually does look like Cao Guang's (Bai Yu) 🐱, Coffee. They usually have her hair and costume looking dreadful. She has short hair that has grown too sloppy and needs 2" taken off, but she is routinely referred to as plain or even homely when she's actually a knockout.

Speaking of Bai Yu and Yang Yang, the show has lots of beautiful men. Bai Yu, sans glasses and curls, is a very handsome man when inside the game, CGS. Xiao Nai's friends are well casted. Zheng Ye Cheng is "Girlie," Hao Mei, and he might be better looking than Yang Yang. He's stern, masculine, and sexy in The Sleepless Princess(9.1). I never recognized him - that's good acting! Vin Zhang as K.O. (he is fabulous in Eternal Love-8.3) & Cui Hang, playing Qiu Yong Hou, compliment the visual feast, and Niu Jun Feng is not only a nice looking guy, but he has an endearing quality as Yu Ban Shan. Hao Bo plays the gynophobic Ah Shuang. His fear of women is why the fledgling company cannot hire females. Xiao Ling (Qin Yu) & Yu Yao (Guan Xin) are the other two girl dormies. They don't get as much screen time as Er Xi. They never bring everybody together, which is a shame. I kept waiting for it, but it wasn't to be.

The primary romance is low drama and pleasant as a warm breeze. Nothing much happens, and the show has that "Prozac" effect that Chinese modern-day dramas all seem to have. While Chinese historical and fantasy pieces are superb in every way, their modern-day stuff is weirdly relaxing to watch despite being deeply flawed. There are at least two secondary romances that are quite cute but left mostly unfinished - they absolutely should have been wrapped up better - that's not a minor flaw. The 🐱 appears to be in serious distress in a couple scenes. In the States, I think it would have created a stir; I was concerned for that kitty. He's a gorgeous feline. Just as in You Are My Glory, which also features the comely Mr. Yang, L020 is too focused on the good looks of the leads. 20% of the dialogue seems to be about the exterior appearance of the characters, and that is so skin-deep. (I realize that I may have committed 20% of this article to what the actors look like… perhaps that's hypocritical🙄, but script & dialogue and critique & commentary are not the same thing). The acting is often stiff, the dialogue is often unimaginative and witless, and the plot drivers such as game dynamics, corporate maneuvering, and technical workings are not explained in the least. Don't expect to learn anything interesting: This show will only bring on rhythmic breathing - and that's enough.

They play completely respectable 🎸 riffs during some of the action. I've seen China rock-out better than Japan, at times. Both of them rock out better than Korea. Korea, on the other hand, reigns supreme in the realm of pop and soft rock. Anyway, the soundtrack isn't bad at all. All-in-all, L020 is a show that romance junkies, who don't get too prickly over technical mediocrity, will like. With the benefit of foreknowledge, I would still watch it again for the first time. Technical excellence alone doesn't make a show good. It must speak to the heart as well. L020 is food for the heart, not the brain, but its true payoff is its Prozac💊effect.
