Not SOOO Disappointing,Not SOO BAD.
First of all,i'm just seeing Very low rated reviews so i thought i should say something about this drama in a review.I'm actually rating it more than average but i know exactly why everyone is so disappointed at this show,i realized you have to shut off your brain and be in a particular state of mind to like this Drama! I also started watching it while ongoing and dropped after ep 7/8 and skipped many scenes later and just focused on Ryu Shi Oh (byeon woo seok was always my favourite) and finished it...That time i was actually very busy with my life and couldn’t afford to relate with the silly comedy scenes. But what happened later was,in 2024 i mean in this year i was jobless and in a very Depressive state in early months so i thought i would just shut off my brain and watch something not-so-serious and started Re-watching Strong girl nam soon..& very surprisingly i quite loved it,the story was tight, but how It's shown has It's questions, they wanted to keep the show ''lighter'' but ended up being silly..but indulged in depression these silly comedies helped me to feel good actually ..The grandmother's love part was the only thing i couldn’t bear myself to watch but the rest of the cast actually did very very well..Ryu shi Oh's character, how It's written, how It's portrayed is SO good and sooo intriguing..(I miss this kind of well written villains' character in kdramas all the time).. Also, the ML & FL did well (FL has certain type of characteristics that people here on MDL really find annoying but that's actually how her character was written, naive, talkative, giving cutesy vibes)& she did good portraying that..the side plots were many and interesting too... ML's team members and related comedies were good.
I later searched on naver to see if it was popular in korea and not to my surprise, it was!! The ratings were good and it was well received by korean audiences. If you want to start this drama, start it,it is NOT THAT TERRIBLE, you might start loving it like me or end up falling hard just for the villain, just like everybody else.Happy Watching!

if you are starting it then don't stop without finishing...
I don't understand why people are hating it soo much. ok, so for me this was not a very bad drama. I liked it also upto some extent. a lot of people are saying that the heroine is putting up so less expressions,. guys, that is what her character is supposed to portray. so the storyline was pretty much normal. And one thing I really loved is that the heroine's love for her ex boyfriend remained constant and the same was for him. she may have shown that she was swayed because of the new student but that wasn't true. in fact the reason why she left and then came back and suddenly started asking for breakup was because she was pregnant and had a miscarriage. And the person who actually killed in ha was the homeroom teacher. I really didn't like her and am glad that she went to jail for it. although she was able to delay it because of her boyfriend and school. yeah, her bf was a student lee woo jin. and i am also very happy that the namely antagonist he ra was one with morals and also the fact that woo jin in reality loved he ra. also, I am happy that upto the end for me the male lead was ri an only because he truly love jae i. I am so happy because of that... in fact I hope that if there would be a next season then it should show the complete love story of yu he ra and woo jin and also about jae i and ri an.Considerați utilă această recenzie?

Such a beautiful series!! A little bit of a rushed ending, but so worth the watch!
I can't get over how beautiful the story in this series was! It was definitely a roller coaster of emotions, and very painful at times, but it was so beautiful! The progression of Qi Lu and Qin Xiao's relationship in the series from beginning to end was just perfect! Seeing it go from clearly liking each other but not admitting it, to Qi Lu admitting his feelings, Qin Xiao then denying his feelings, to him finally giving in, was just so beautiful to watch!
Same with Liu and Tan Yi. While I didn't love their story as much, their relationship progression was just as great to watch. Tan Yi pining for Liu, Liu drunkenly admitting his feelings while Tan Yi couldn't hear, to him then denying his feelings before finally giving in.. so perfect!
Honestly, almost everything about this series was so perfect to me! It had the perfect blend of pain before happiness, rejection then acceptance, and two people who felt trapped before finding each other and finally breaking free.
The ending was definitely more rushed than I'd have liked, but with how amazing I personally found the rest of the series, I didn't mind. I am just happy that we got a happy ending for both couples!!
One thing I did hate was Qi Lu's father.. I wanted so much more to happen to him for the abuse he was doing to Qi Lu. He is a disgusting piece of shit human being who doesn't deserve to breathe air so I hate that in the series nothing ever happens to him. He's even an influential person in the art world, and yet he doesn't even get that taken from him.. The one time Qi Lu actually stood up to him, he threatened Qin Xiao again to get him back under control 🙄 I'm really glad at the end of the series he was able to get away from him, and that even though he had to do what his father wanted because of the threatening, he only had to do it for a year and it was a year away from him!
I also am not a huge fan of miscommunication, or non-communication in this case. It drives me crazy when, if people would just talk to and be honest with each other, things may not have happened the way they did. If they had been honest with each other, when Qin Xiao hurt his hand and realized he couldn't take the exam to get into university, he would have known Qi Lu was being forced by his dad not going with his mom so he wouldn't have had to hide it. The only thing I'll say in that regard, is the dad could have threatened him again when Qin Xiao tried again to get into university.. I could see that happening, but it didn't ease my irritation with the non-communication causing a 6-year separation. I know that was needed for the angst and drama of the series, but miscommunication/non-communication is a trope many series tend to fall back on and I just really dislike it.
Regardless of that though, I thought this was a beautiful series! I'm so happy that both couples got happy endings with each other! I just really adored this and it's probably one of my top series from this year!

Okay first of all I think it's scary so I don't really like it. BUT I still think the story is quite good. No I think it's great ! Only some scary scene that I hate. But also I think the scary scene really gives the thrill.
I think the actors/actress acting is great and so natural. I should give the a big applause !
Music.. Okay I'm a little disappointed with this cause I think there will be 2PM song but.... NOTHING'S THERE. I never really understand movie's song cause most are instrumental but I think the music goes well with the movie so I should say it's great
I WON'T REWATCH IT. EVER. cause it's scary. But it's not bad. Really. But I'm just too scary to rewatch this .___. I close my eyes on most of the scene so I won't rewatch this.
Overall I'm not really enjoying this movie but I don't think it's a bad movie.. Only the scary part .__.
Maybe you should watch this if you don't hate scary movie. But I should say it's not really scary .__.

Amazing
What to say? I’m not a huge fan of JBLs but I needed something short and unfinished since this was airing during my exams time, so I decided to watch this. My opinion? WOW! This was so so sooo good!If you want to ask why I don’t like JBL, I don’t really know how to answer this question. Maybe it’s because of their distanceness, maybe because of the fact that some BL’s I can imagine as anime but as live action it seems odd to me, maybe something totally different… I really don’t know. But I think you’ll agree when I say JBLs have something which makes them Japanese and it’s not only Japanese actors. I don’t know how to explain it but when you watch JBL, you just know it’s JBL before they start speaking. Does it make sense? I hope so…
This one as well and here I really enjoyed it. Two actors who are going to act in a BL drama? Yes, that seems like something I’d like to see, so I started to watch. Half of the series was already out, for the next half I had to wait every week, After some episodes I wanted to scream and throw things around but then I saw the preview for next ep and I calmed down. Not always, tbh, sometimes it was vice versa.
The first thing I noticed was their chemistry. It was really something. They basically kissed in the first episode. Yeah, it was that dead fish kiss where they just put their lips together but with the music and tension and everything around it made me feel butterflies. Don’t worry, we’ll get to see more than that…
The story is mostly shown from Yuki’s POV but there is one ep where you can see Asami was actually the one who fell first and also harder. And now imagine how he had to control himself… Well, maybe not so much since he was the one who came up with the idea of pretending to be boyfriends so they could get more into their characters. Maybe it was his strategy? Who knows…
They fell for each other really fast, but they lacked communication so everything took more time than it was necessary. Now, when I saw the last ep, I know it was actually a point, not a mistake or plothole. It’s exactly how it’s supposed to be and it makes sense.
They kind of remind me of Sasaki and Miyano. Asami was that cool one as Sasaki and Yuki the shy one as Miyano. Damn, I wish Sasaki and Miyano got a live action drama! It would be so good, trust me.
Ok, back to Asami and Yuki. Damn, when they called each other by their first name, it was so intimate...
During those 10 eps we actually got two bed scenes. First one was shown as Asami and Yuki’s characters and the second one was the real them. Guess which one was hotter? Just kidding, both of them were totally amazing.
The very last scene shown something which is giving a clue about season 2, so there is a small posibility we could see those two again.

😶🌫️😶🌫️😶🌫️This reminds me of My personal weatherman. I like how they hit there may be another season There were times where it dragged a little bit. But it still was worth watching again and again and again. I don't normally leave reviews.😡😤😡😤 I didn't know it. Have to be five hundred characters, so for the rest of the characters, it's just gonna be some Emojis. 😍😍🤩🤩🤪🤪😄😃😀😀😀😀🤯🤯🤯🤯💝💝💝💝💝💝💝Considerați utilă această recenzie?

THE ONLY THING I LEARNED WAS PRIVACY IS VERY IMPORTANT
I binge-watched Hierarchy (2024) just because it only has seven episodes. I'll be honest about what I felt about this show. The story isn't anything new; it's been done many times around the globe. However, I was happy with how they treated the male lead's characters. I can see that the show has some inspiration from the Elite TV series. As always, to differentiate between the classes, they used drugs, sex, and alcohol. I mean, you can tell this story without these elements, or if the writers wanted to touch on this area of society, they should have gone all the way and made the characters more grey and darker. Since the premiere on Netflix, they had so many opportunities with this kind of story structure. I also felt this kind of story has already been done in Korea too. If not the story, then the situation or surroundings, for example: Penthouse, The Glory, Weak Hero Class 1, etc.
Production-wise, the quality is good. The art direction was on point. The cinematographer did a really good job; there were many creative shots, and it was well-edited. However, I think the OST of this series could have been better. I wasn't into it (this could be my personal taste, so don't hate me for that).
Now, let's talk about the acting. Everyone did a fine job, and they can improve in the future, I guess. But I was really impressed by Choi Won Young (Jeong Ki Young [Jae Yi’s dad]). He did an amazing job portraying an evil dad. I was really impressed by him.
One thing I really wish is that they had made the male lead into an anti-hero (my personal opinion).
Since they hinted that there could be a second season by showcasing an end credit scene in the final episode and leaving us with an open end, I wish they would bring another female lead for our male lead.
So, I will give this show a total of 7 stars out of 10.

Underwhelming
i watched the premise and i thought it would give us a dark thriller highschool type of genre, wherein every moment gets you thrilled, i was wrong.it was a complicated romance all along. i was wondering why hera got 3 love interests and yun-seok and woo-jin having the same fate, like what's the point?. i also wasn't satisfied to how the main 4 jooshin high elites' fate ended, it felt too rushed. and what was the post-credits scene even for?x.also didn't like how woojin got less screentime than the other main cast, the other bullies got more screentime than him tbh, he was so invisible the whole time, plus the first close up solo encounter he had with kang ha was literally was in ep5-7( i forgot which).i think we already knew that it was jae yi's perv brother who filmed the whole thing?, it was so obv.tho i liked the aesthetic and cinematography, they could've done better than this, i expected more since this was from netflix, the cast did somewhat average, some did fell flat, some did great, and pleas stop with the unnecessary romance, every time!it was so cringe, like😭still hoping that hera and woojin will end up together🙏as for ri-an he was ugh idk, i was so confused with him idk why, then here comes our typical fl jaeyi who got caught along a fricking love square, babe u gotta choose!(she's so me, indecisive queen) but i liked her character tho.kang-ha was so questionable, i thought he would come up with some thoroughly analyzed plan, but boy just went straight to the police!it was so bland😭🙏i was also thinking how ri-an's mom didn't bribe the police considering she's so respected(like jaeyi's dad), like if that's the logic, anyone could've shot thst school down sooner!i mean at least think for a defensive countermeasure?Considerați utilă această recenzie?
At first I didn't understand the story at ep 1-2 but then kinda got into it after something happens to her personal life with a family member. But then the flashbacks that comes between in past sentence* happened maybe? I thought it was cut between or is from another ending . Since the Chinese web said it has 3! Alternative endings and beginnings .. I was like whattepuck am I gonna do and how do I know which one is which and when will they put it in or is it already been put in the series all together? It was confusing for me to read it on the web . But not on the series when I watch it. Overall it has a good start . I firstly thought that the plot didn't suit the series since I was watching it and she was still the main lead * actress Bai lu. But I guess I'm not far enough yet to see her reincarnate in another lead actress that will be playing her. So I will wait and see how it goes.

Lee Da Hae still looks pretty (I'm not into her dyed hair and makeup but whatever), still looks considerably young, only perhaps her breasts are way lower (they shouldn't have her wear evening robes showing it), her character is intense in her quest for her dead father's justice, which is good, still I did not care for her so much.
As for Lee Dong Wook, the physical change that happened with him is way more than Lee Da Hae's breast & dyed hair. He looks like a different guy. I no longer like him, nevertheless I think those who did not like him BEFORE might like him now. To be perfectly honest, I did not enjoy watching his character here. Whether he looked like his vein was going to burst, or he was making his "poker face", I found him more annoying than intriguing. Because I definitely was not THAT invested in his character's drama, or in the whole story of 'Hotel King' (it's NOT the name of the hotel, btw.) and rather thought the 32 episodes instead of the usual 16 unnecessary.
I considered dropping this drama after 4 episodes...
I took a pause before watching episode 5. I tried again with fresh eye. It definitely looks Lee Dong Wook's acting got WORSE, not better. There is so much of orchestra and string music. It all has such a heavy, tiring atmosphere... It's 5th episode out of 32, too early to be storming the viewers with all this BEFORE making them care, first. I still don't know what the main guy's deal is. I only know that he looks ridiculous making his 33-year old face all super strained about it.
I'm afraid I really don't have this much patience. Had this been 12-episode series, perhaps. Alas, no. And I don't need to know the big secret... So, if I'll miss seeing Lee Da & Lee Dong, I'll better watch 'My Girl' for 100th time.
