I'll start off by saying that I did not have high expectations for this drama. I saw the synopsis and thought it would be just another "female celebrity who loses her fame and meets a rich guy who turns her life around" type of story. AND I WAS WRONG. I was thoroughly impressed with the FL's character development and overall storyline. I feel like there were life lessons sprinkled throughout the episodes as we saw the FL struggle to figure out what she wanted to do next with her life. Eleanor Lee did an amazing job transitioning from serious to shameless within seconds and I can't imagine Nuan Nuan being played by another actress. Additionally, the chemistry between the FL and ML was amazing, and I think their dynamic is what really hooked the audience in.
My only issue with the show relates to the production/editing of the drama. I think there may have been some scenes cut out because there were a few episodes that did not pick up the scene where the previous episode ended. While this isn't a huge issue to the overall story, I felt like we might have missed something in the relationship progression between the two leads and I still have a question about one of the side characters Lin Jia Yi.
In short, please do yourself a favor and watch this show. It is definitely one of the better cdramas in this genre. It's cute and fluffy with the right amount of slice of life/serious moments to actually add substance to the cheesy story. Oh and the soundtrack is really good too!

I've been watching dramas for 15 years and this is the first review I've ever written. Basically, this story is everything I wanted the disastrous "Untouchable Lovers" to be with the whole "confused identity switching/spy on a mission" plot line. However, as much as I enjoyed the strong FL and the loyal ML, I found myself rooting for the side characters. Fu Chou and Rong Qi were the most interesting characters with complex backstories and development. I didn't feel like Wu You was the male lead and thought his character growth remained very superficial and one dimensional (same for the FL). I found his unwavering love for Man Yao/Rong Le refreshing, but I just felt like something was missing. There were some abrupt changes of heart with some characters which I assume was done to help fill any plot holes, but the pacing was off. I think that's why I'm not completely satisfied with the way the drama ended even though it's a significantly happier ending than most Chinese period dramas. Although the plot seemed to drag with some smaller stories and drama with certain side characters feeling drawn out, I would encourage you to keep watching til the end.
