This was genuinely my favorite Chinese drama until Lighter & Princess replaced it. The plot and timeline of everything is very similar. From college sweethearts to adults, with a huge part of the male lead getting incarcerated. They rekindle after he gets released from prison, and the two leads obviously still have feelings for each other but doesn’t necessarily have the intention to get back together. Unanswered questions from college are addressed after male lead lets released. The overall plot and sense of unconditional love is prevalent is both dramas. Not cringey at all. A must watch.
