The children of Jiwha-dong.
I fell in love within the first few minutes of the first episode of this drama. The drama follows a man who is looking for his long lost sister, that same man shares same emotional state with a woman he recently met.
Yeo Jingoo’s and Moon Ka-young's performance was so amazing in this drama and their chemistry was flowing so well.
This drama gives it all; the thrill, the fantasy, the romance, the mystery all in one go with exact amount of everything.
As much as this drama is interesting, it also shines light onto serious things that even tend to happen in real life:
Domestic abuse.
Murder.
Bullying.
Stalking.
Attempts of rape.
We get to see so many characters in Link and we get to see their daily life and what they go through. We meet the children of Jiwha-dong.
We also get to see the female lead struggling with a few things that I mentioned up there.
Even though she went through such serious topics, we get to see her heal and become stronger than she was before. Aswell as the male lead. He goes through so many rough things ever since he was little to his adult hood.
He deals with his sister going missing, his mother becoming sick and disassociating from the world, his father barely being there for them when needed.
He turns into this cold, distant character that you want to sympathize with. That you want to hug and put into your pocket and keep him safe.
The drama shows us that tough times never last, but tough people do.
It shows that no matter what we can go through, there is still that tiny speck of light that might drop and shine up your life.
Life can teach people to never trust someone again. Whether it being someone broke your heart, messed with your loyalty, did something bad- life can tend to be unfair but once you get to meet specific people that were made for you, you'll see how much it's worth it.
You will lose people along the way, and like the male lead said;
"It’s because we’ve lost someone. We’ve lost someone precious to us. That’s why we can’t hold on to someone. We’re afraid of losing them again."
However everything is going to be okay, we're all human, afterall.

"When love is not madness, it is not love."
This became one of my favorite ongoing kdramas this month. It genuinely gets better once you start to get behind the mask of the ML., how he is and his past along with the FL.
I personally didn't find the side characters interesting in any way, the family or the people at their work place. Except the ML's ex who knew when to provoke at a right time.
The ML's and FL's interactions are extremely funny by episode 4 or so.
The story itself is standard with lots of madness from the couple by them being chaotic and quite insane with eachother.
I honestly wish they kept it that way even when they started dating and being all lovey-dovey but to each his own.
Overall, I still enjoyed it. Not too heavy or crazy.
This show kept getting funnier and funnier by each episode. Sure we’ve got a few tropes here and there but the entire drama was shown in fun and unexpected ways.
And I love that he and Krystal are clearly having a blast even behind the scenes.
As much as there were some boring and unnecessary scenes, I overall enjoyed the drama and loved it enough for it to become my favorite thing ever.

"People are awful, drink some beer." -Min Jin Lee
Min Jin Lee’s bestselling novel gets a tantalising adaptation that sweeps back and forth from Korea in 1915 to Japan’s Wall Street era. It’s a rollercoaster ride through time and space.Just like in the novel, the drama's multi-generational narrative allows this rich history to unfold at a pace that is beguilingly peaceful, opening in a deceptively idyllic coastline setting in Korea, shortly after the Japanese annexing of Korea.
Spanning nearly 100 years and moving from Korea at the start of the 20th century to pre- and postwar Osaka and, finally, Tokyo and Yokohama, the novel reads like a long, intimate hymn to the struggles of people in a foreign land.
It is breathtaking in almost every department. Pachinko the show is just as beautiful as the book on which it's based.
Sunja, the family matriarch, is the only surviving child of Hoonie and Yangjin. She is born in Yeongdo, Korea, around 1916.
The drama genuinely focused on the entire Japanese annexing of Korea along with the other characters.
It showed so many personalities in this drama and so many emotional scenes were shown in the drama.
Sunja became one of my favorite strong female characters that deserve more recognition just like other iconic characters from different dramas.
The drama isn't for everyone and there is a thin border between people liking it and not liking it.
Dive in if you feel like it, you're going to be in for a ride.
'There is nothing fu***** worse than knowing that you are just like everybody else. What a messed up lousy existence." -a quote from the novel.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.
Rael is introduced as a femme fatale: "Aphrodite" as a vengeful goddess of beauty, the biblical "Eve" as a temptress, seductress, a serpent. We also see really fast- the vulnerability behind her facade. She’s traumatized and engages in self-harm once triggered.
There is a reason why makjang dramas are always getting some type of recognition, mainly because most people don't experience it in real life or see it anywhere else except on TV.
In the context of dramas, makjang is a stylistic, tonal, or narrative element in dramas that chooses to play up outrageous storylines to keep viewers hooked despite how ridiculous the stories become, which you will experience throughout this drama. This type of drama is difficult to understand or accept based on common sense and moral standards of an average person. These dramas will often feature things such as forced situations/settings, tangled relationships, affairs, and birth secrets
Seo Ye-ji came back with a new tvN drama called 'Eve' , which is characterized as a high-quality, intense revenge melodrama.
It has quite a painful yet simple plot actually, whose main focus is revenge and betrayal.
---"Eve" in Hebrew is "Ḥawwāh" and is most commonly believed to mean "living one" or "source of life".---
Some might be disappointed by it because, if they've seen her previous works such as being a desperate girl in 'Save Me', an iconic lawyer in 'Lawless Lawyer' and interesting, mysterious writer in 'It's okay not to be okay', Seo Ye-ji is limited to mechanical smiles, blank, wide-eyes and bouts of weeping – all of which do nothing to show the so-called fire of revenge burning inside her, unless you focus on more episodes and her intense eyes and actions she does throughout the drama.
Her voice, facial expressions, and the way her emotions quickly change as she turns bolder gave me even goosebumps sometimes. Or even a slight jump scare when she randomly raised her voice at Han So Ra. Terrific!
The drama has a promising start - the story is interesting enough that you can't wait to watch the second episode.
The wardrobe of the female characters looked insanely awesome, atleast in my opinion, where as the others could've found it funny or not so attractive.
Most of Seo Ye-ji's clothes were from interesting brands, such as DIOR, Ports, Mango, etc with a varation of prices going from 500-1000$! Through newer episodes, her clothes become bolder, her eyebrows become bleached and her makeup becomes bolder aswell which is quite metaphoric as if it's showing her 'other' side.
I might even expect for Seo Yeji to win Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actress of this year with this drama, as much as there are mixed opinions about this whole drama, it's extremely interesting to watch every character unravel in their own way.

Why Oh Soo-jae?
A few people wondered why is the drama named the way it is, 'Why Her?'Well let me explain from my point of view;
This show became one of my favorites from just the first episode and it's ending.
It lured me in so easily and it made me stay till the end. I don't know if it's because of my love towards Seo Hyun Jin, Hwang In Yeop or just the way the story was unfolding. But it made me stay.
We meet the FL already in the beginning of the first episode, she is a star lawyer who is the youngest partner at TK Law Firm. She has become empty while pursuing only success, sadly. She was pushed out as an adjunct professor at a law school because of an unexpected incident. A twenty-seven years old law school student who is warm and innocent, but hides a painful past with a twisted fate.
From the first moment you meet the FL you already notice how she is, the prickly Oh Soo-jae or Oh Annoying as others gave her the nickname, which I found extremely funny.
She is an impressive character because having a hard time to become a lawyer despite her humble high school diploma background and everyday she battles against sexism, sexual harrassment and class divides in that so called patriarchy system.
After struggling for years in her company, the whole thing made her extremely cold: her tongue is as sharp as her clothes and style, she is witty and barely makes mistakes.
She started ruling over her subordinates with an iron fist, is quite a girl boss and knows men ain't sh*t, and she, by all means, wins all over cases.
Sadly due to those things, she became cocky, proclaiming herself as things she isn't and started having no sympathy for people and her causes.
That sadly becomes her downfall and that's when the actual drama starts. Despite all of her struggles, her hard work, her managment and precise actions;
Why Oh Soo-jae?
Why Her?
Why did she get all the bad things happening to her despite having such a sad past?
When she is kicked out, some might think: “Oh, that’s quite bad, but she kind of had it coming.”
When she ignores her duties as a professor, we get confused. That's when that question might come in again, why her?
Why are people supposed to care about her? Why should they give her a chance?
The answer is not immediately there at the beginning, but as we see glimpses of Soo-jae’s life and her sad past, we warm up to her character, we get to see the real her. We get to see her cry. And mourn. We see her try to commit suicide. We get to see her go through things people don't deserve to go through. We see her fight through this partiarchal society.
But we also see that she had the power all along.
Because there is no force bigger than a woman determined to rise.
No matter what.

Everything, and I mean everything is connected.
Yes, everything; From every monster to human. From past life to present life. From every character and their personality. What a wild ride it has been! But where to start? I've seen a lot of people saying it was a waste of time and didn't understand much of the story due to it being slow-paced but to each his own.
I definitely enjoyed a lot of this drama if you knock off some boring scenes, I loved the tense atmosphere between every character.
From the way monsters were portrayed and came back to present life, completely different. You can definitely place it as: In a world where everyone wears a mask, it's a privilege to see a soul. And that was definitely a case here. You wouldn't even expect for such pretty humans to have a hidden monster in them.
I genuinely liked Kwon Na Ra's performance here, I know a lot of people don't like damsel in distress type of girls in dramas nowadays but, it just proofs that even if you are weak, soft and kind, you can still be a badass by the end of the day.
Tears are no sign of weakness, they're just a proof you've been strong for too long. That was the case with Min Sang Un. She's quite a walking proof that you may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.
Hwal was definitely a proof of how do you destroy a monster without becoming one?
I liked it, even with some boring scenes here and there, especially since we don't get a lot of fantasy dramas based on this.
Someone could call themselves a hero and still walk around killing thousands of people. Someone else could be labeled a villain for trying to stop them. Plenty of humans were monstrous and plety of monsters knew how to play at being human.

To love life, to love life even if you have no stomach for it
As if the first two episodes didn't hook me in already, episodes 3 and 4 managed to get me super invested in the drama.I didn't want the episodes to end every time they did.
I feel like many people related to Mi Jeong who constantly seeks freedom from the suffocating void of her monotonous and repetitive life.
She feels lost most of the time, with people or by herself, unable to identify herself as a person.
She wants to know how it feels to be whole for once. Her character definitely felt extremely relatable despite me being an extrovert and this and that.
Every character was written and made so well and also portrayed so well that it always kept me wondering what would happen next.
The way Mr. Gu and Mi Jung were silent and still mastered the silent acting and I appreciate that so much. Not all actors could captivate viewers and make them completely drawn into their characters by not saying a single word throughout most of their scenes.
This drama isn't one of those full of plot and suspense, no- this drama was just another slice of life we drama fans needed to see and watch after all the other dramas we've seen this year.
This drama portrayed a different kind of life that many people live and go through. It's not the expensive phones we usually see in dramas despite the 'poor' characters, the fancy cars, the living alone in apartments and all those details.
No.
"I don't know where I'm stuck but I want to break free."
We see an entire family stuck together in a crowded space. We see the heat of the morning and the cold of the night.
We see these characters struggling to make an 'I' for themselves in their family and outside of their family.
We see them searching for happiness, freedom and love in the most unique way.

Been waiting for this one
As a person who has been anticipating this movie since it has been announced, I watched every bit of it with interest. Han Hyo Joo never disappoints me as she continues to drown herself in every character she gets with such ease, along with Kang Ha Neul.Quite different from the 1st Pirates movie, this one had lots of comedic scenes that made me sit and giggle in my room all alone. Calling that a mentally unstable person lol.
Don't take the movie seriously, I'm sure the path it had was just simple and to be comedic instead of full of plot and lots of action.
So take it with ease and just enjoy the cast, the comedy, the laugher and fun scenes. They all did a great job.

Each memory has it's own soundtrack
We were robbed with just these 4 episodes after seeing the good chemistry between Hyungsik and Sohee. I wish it was longer than just this but sadly it isn't.Friends to lovers trope. Nothing less and nothing more. A simple love story.
Atleast once in our lifetime, we fall in love. Young or old, rich or poor, near or far- love rarely chooses any boundaries. You don't choose love, for love chooses you. The time, place and person are going to be things no one will have control over. And that's how their story goes aswell;
We follow a story of two individuals where one has been feeling extreme sweet love towards the female lead ever since they became friends.
The female lead has a calming aura about her and works quite hard to reach her goal without giving up, which is an impressive thing in todays FL's characters- and I'm glad we get to see more confident and mature female leads.
We watch them start living together, evolve, share thoughts, feelings and the viewers can just simply melt.
If there's one thing for sure, it's that- Park Hyung Sik definitely knows how to pick his dramas and his roles cause this is, once again, another drama of his that makes us swoon over him and Han So Hee is honestly beautiful than ever.
Saw her years ago in World of the Married and just continued to watch all of her projects, and she has been doing nothing but amazing work left and right.
Hope to see more of them in future!

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?
This drama was exactly what I needed. In my opinion, Atty Woo is the perfect example of how good writing can unfold beautifully on-screen.
This whole drama has taken audiences across the world by storm and we've all seen it's rise since it aired.
The main female lead became an attorney with something that caught peoples' attention anytime she introduced herself.
Autism.
I saw a few people even asking what exactly is autism?
Well, you see, Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave. Although autism can be diagnosed at any age, it is described as a “developmental disorder” because symptoms generally appear in the first two years of life.
There are sometimes main symptoms of autism, such as, not responding to their name, avoiding eye contact, not smiling when you smile at them, getting very upset if they do not like a certain taste, smell or sound, repetitive movements, such as flapping their hands, flicking their fingers or rocking their body and not talking as much as other children.
We get to see all these symptoms in this drama!
Park Eun Bin portrayed all of these traits in such an unique way which held all viewers' eyes' captured on her.
Many don't know that Eun Bin majored in psychology and journalism in Sogang University. Which brings us to the next sentence, she genuinely knows how to understand all of her characters well and tries her best to portray them in her best way possible without disrespecting any part of it.
We love an iconic, educated queen for that!
"To measure the success of our societies, we should examine how well those with different abilities, including persons with autism, are integrated as full and valued members."
-Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon
I genuinely don't have much to say for this drama except the best of it, I never saw any flaws in it, it kept me in my seat from beginning till end and I'll never complain about it. Such a comforting drama, honestly. With many emotional moments, cute moments, romantic moments and moments that can make your skin boil, yeah, I'm talking about you Attorney Kwon.
Overall a 10/10 from me. Can't wait to see more of this casts' projects and can't wait to support them throughout those new projects!

My first written review so here it goes;
Oh wow, what a ride this has been! Where to start from?As much as there has been a huge rollercoaster before this drama has even begun, the amount of hate and love it recieved was definitely there. A lot of people still won't watch this due to controversies but the ones that have decided to watch it, along with me, it was definitely a rollercoaster of lots of emotions.
The angst between every character. The way the actors portrayed every single character they played in this drama.
Jung Hae In never disappoints in his dramas and neither did he disappoint in this one.
Hopefully, we will see Jisoo in more dramas in future with different roles that challenge her in her acting career.
I personally liked the plot of the drama, if you skip some boring scenes here and there, and the way in every episode you couldn't know what would happen. Lots of plot twists that made people raise their eyebrows. Aside from the sad parts of this drama, there were lots of funny scenes that were just dumped into episodes randomly which lifted up the mood of the drama.
If you're a fan of Money Heist (not comparing) and you don't mind that the background and place stays the same in most episodes then this might be the drama for you.
If you shine the light into the negative side- From the whole controversy of using real characters and things that happened during that year; It was an incredibly sensitive and loaded topic when it came to all of this.
Now that it has ended, more people will be educated on someone elses culture, style and life. Hopefully, there won't be more controversies on dramas in near or far away future.
The cast however did an amazing job and I loved every single one of them, hope we see more of them in the future!

First step is out, now, it's showtime~
This drama has such an interesting plot. When it comes to fantasy dramas, there is just something about them that pulls and lures you in because of the creation of new world, new story lines and even new creatures.
Fantasy dramas tend to be complicated but this is pretty simple, and it sticks with fun, light, a little bit of romance and heartwarming comedy.
I've been looking forward to this since it's written by the same person who wrote Mystic Pop-up Bar.
As much as there is crime related stuff and law involved in this drama, it didn't fail to amaze me that they brought in magic and magicians into this.
Sure, the ML mainly had help from his ghosts that he would see for the most of this time but just the concept and plot of this drama kept me watching.
The leads have such a fun dynamic and are slowly falling into the 'chaotic iconic couple' list.
There are some fun tactics sprinkled with some thrilling crime and the whole cast has such great chemistry with each other, in my opinion.
As much as the leads are extremely fun to watch, so are the supporting roles and the ghost gang. There will definitely be lots of buckets of tears once they leave to the other world.
I like that they're weaving in cases left and right; it gives the leads more things to talk about and bond together and we get to see how the ghost world works.
As a person whose favorite drama is Hotel Del Luna, this one is right up my alley and I hope everyone has lots of fun watching it.

„Let's suffer together when we're in pain. It's 100 times better than being lonely alone.“
Story of love and motivation. The amount of love I have towards this drama is unspeakable. The way this drama depicts should we escape from our youth or face it bravely is so impressing.
Twenty Five, Twenty One has attracted the attention of many domestic and foreign audiences.
With it's visuals, cinematography, many meaningful messages along with talented actresses and actors, who wouldn't be attracted?
Ever since it aired, people got curious who did Hee Do marry? What happened to the friend group? Where did everyone go? Do we get a happy ending?
With many theories, that even actors of the drama reacted to, we finally came to an end to this beautiful drama.
The series portrayed beautifully how there are long gaps of no growth and how growth resembles a staircase instead of a hill.
The amount of character development we've seen through these 16 episodes was so well written and so well put (Yurim best girl<3).
I was so impressed by their passions and empathy they had towards eachother in the drama, whether that would be between the main leads, side leads or just in general- the whole cast.
Their chemistry is out of this world.
The FL has an unique style and personality. Extremely loud, holds her ground, quite extroverted and a little bit clumsy while the ML is quiet, a big observator and tries his best to stay honest.
In this drama exists a very special friendship/relationship between Yi Jin, who was the unconditional support and Hee Do who was the source of motivation for Yi Jin to find his dream again.
The way they supported eachother through hardships was such a heartmelting thing to see.
“Seeing you work hard makes me want to work hard too. If you can do it, I want to do it too. Besides yourself, you also make others want to do well.” Yi Jin was always on Hee Do‘s side, due to that she had faith and strength to pursue her dreams.
I'm not going to get into spoilers and big details because I know new viewers and fans will come in and watch it, so I hope everyone has lots of fun watching this drama and theorising just like we did.
I'm so glad it got the hype and attention it deserved along with Bona and her cute girl group.
Happy watching to others, so glad we had lots of fun with this drama and it showed an immense talent of the whole cast.

The first step of change is to decide.
I didn't think I'd continue watching this drama after seeing first two episodes but I'm glad I continued because "Our Blues" takes on an omnibus-style drama, which tells the story of diverse characters that are somewhat interconnected, in one way or the other. The storytelling is so rich in this drama, down to the little details.
The acting was quite amazing, especially the two teens in this drama. I feel like this show is getting slept on when the storyline has been getting better and better every episode.
Some stories will leave you like a sobbing mess after watching the scenes and seeing how it all unfolds.
It focuses on family arguments, teenage pregnancy, first love, broken hearts, depression and more. I personally got tied to Shin Min Ah's character 'Min Seon Ah' who seemed to struggle a lot with depression while being a mother to a small boy and a wife to a man that didn't exactly know how to handle the situation.
The cinematography seems to highlight these moments but with beauty and the sounds of them living in the sea side town, it's really soothing.
If you like any of the things I counted in along with Jeju, the beauty of sea and nature, sound of waves and voices of so many people gathered up in one place, then definitely dive in.

“A small thing can change everything.”
“When body temperature drops by 1°C, our body’s immune system weakens by as much as 30 percent. This means that you become vulnerable to external attacks. The same goes for the temperature between people.”- Lee SiWooThis drama has finally came to an end. It started off quite big, due to it's interesting plot with weather and meteorologists, and after a while, it lost it's sparkle and many people dropped it.
I'm glad I didn't.
The drama isn't for everyone. It simply focuses on daily life, daily working life, peoples' ups and downs, hardships and relationships.
“Forecasting Love and Weather” is a JTBC romance drama about the work and love lives of people who work at the Korea Meteorological Administration, Korea’s national weather forecast service.
Park Min Young stars as the frosty and cold Jin Ha Kyung, who does everything by the book and is careful and steady about keeping her personal and professional lives separate after being hurt throughout her whole life by many people, while Song Kang stars as the free-spiritedLee Si Woo, who is extremely intelligent but only cares about the weather, for some reason.
As their sweet secret office romance continued and kept on growing- it became so sweet that the people around them started to smell something.
Hope the whole cast gets more roles in future and I hope to see PMY in a drama that challenges her outside of rich lifestyle, office and same wardrobe type of drama. It'd be extremely fun to see her in a role she hasn't played before.
The drama didn't have a special plot but kept me around for some reason, it was one of those dramas you'd watch after you realise you have nothing else to watch, so I'd recommend seeing it if that's the case.
