One of my siblings watched kdramas when we grew up together, but I never saw the appeal and hadn't watched any Asian TV series ever. But after I saw my first Thai drama in summer 2019, I've since watched shows  in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Tagalog, Thai, and Vietnamese.
