Reading the synopsis on the website I thought the two main characters were involved in a car accident and to prevent to the car accident, one of the guys get reincarnated to erase their relationship. If they never meet, the two never get into a fatal car accident together. I was wrong.

The series starts with Yi-chen running out of what appears to be a coffee shop after being told by his boyfriend that he is going to marry someone else. Running in tears, he gets hit by a car and dies. He becomes reincarnated with the view of changing his life and ensuring that he never meets Jiang Jing Teng so that he wont be hurt in the future.

He burns the diary pages he has of him but a few blow in the wind which get to Jiang Jing Teng. He begins to like Yi-chen who wants nothing to do with him, but knows that the young man like him. After his accident, Jiang Jing Teng pretends to have amnesia so that he can be get closer to Yi-chen.

The premise sounds good but by the fourth episode, I was really getting pissed at all the sexual assault and kisses without consent. Kissing someone is not the same as talking or communicating feelings. Jiang Jing Teng becomes obsessed with Yi-chen but I didn't know for what reason. Based of a feeling that he should be his? I had expected the obsessed to come from Yi-chen. The Jiang Jing Teng from the future that we saw in flashbacks was completely different that the one that we see in the past. What the hell happened?

I will admit that the last 7 minutes of the last episode made me cry. I had wanted to know the aftermath of the car accident which we did get a glimpse of and some revelations. Overall, the premise was good though I had a few issues. This does not beat History 3: Trapped to me, but I do like some scenes that I have watched a few times.

A good series to binge

I have watched Until We Meet Again so many times over the years that I have lost count. When Between Us was first announced, I was so excited. I watched interviews and I even watched the special with the cute moments between Team and Win.

I started watching this on Monday and finished it yesterday.

Team and Win's relationship starts with just sex, where the arrangement is beneficial to them both. Until they start hanging out more, where they watch movies together, go grocery shopping together, their feelings towards each other start to change.

The plot mostly focuses on the characters and their relationship with each other along with the issues they both are facing. Team has nightmares and insomnia whenever a swimming competition is approaching and Win struggles with receiving love and showing love, probably because of how much pressure his father puts on both himself and brother Waan.

Win notices Team's nightmares and allows him to sleep in his room. This becomes a pattern. Whenever he is unable to sleep, he is welcomed to come to this room whenever.

I feel the turning point for them both is when Win saves Team from drowning. Once he is out of the water and looking at Win, Team apologizes to him, but Win just stares at him before he saying 'I told you that club was a day off today. Yet, you broke in with no permission. Why?' Team explains that he just wanted to practice. Win, the man that doesn't care about anything and always has a nonchalant demeanor loses his cool, when he yells at Team 'Fuck the practice! You almost died right in front of me! Do you not realize that?' Win realizes just how important Team has become to him. If something were to happen to him, his heart would be torn apart and Team realizes that his actions have/can hurt other people and just how close he was to drowning again. I lost count of how many times I have watched that scene. It was so well done and captures their feelings perfectly. They both cry as Win hugs Team close to him. Team made the same mistake he did as a kid, when he wanted to go swimming and not listening to his older cousin who instructed that he warm up first so he doesnt get a cramps, which is what happened this time. He wanted to practice but he didn't warm up therefore he got a leg cramp while swimming which caused him to start to drown.

If Win had not noticed the lights in the pool on, and come to investigate, Team would have drowned.

The next day, Win comes to the conclusion that he doesnt want to love anyone because he is afraid of losing them.

Team feels that Win is nice to everyone therefore concludes that none of the things that he is doing, hold no special meaning. (Despite MUILTPLE people telling Team that Win in fact does not). He doesn't allow anyone ride on his bike, except for this brother Wiew. He doesnt eat snacks or listen to music, but he has started to after getting involved with Team. There relationship has no label so neither of them know what to refer to each other as. They don't know what the feelings they have for each other are. Is is love? fondness? Is Team sneaking someone that reminds him of his brother Ton? When they first hooked up, Win told Team to address him as Hia. Does Win want someone to rely on him as his little brother does? Why would he want him to address him as such? When Team went home to see his parents and visit his brother's grave, he called Win crying and Win rode his bike for TWO hours to get to him. He leaves his door unlocked just in case Team can't sleep.. He buy him snacks, and food. He even eats breakfast with him. Through this whole series, Win treats Team different but Team still worries that he is not special. By the beginning of episode, the two talk. Team states something along the lines of how Win stays up to help him study, he is awake in case Team stops by to sleep, he is friend to Dean and a brother to Wiew and Waan. 'When do you have time to study? When do you have time to sleep? If being special, means to lose yourself, then I don't want to be." There are so many powerful and memorable scenes throughout the series. The two officially become boyfriends, finally confessing their feelings and not running away or overthinking.

The audience gets snippets of what is going on with Team as far as his insomnia but Win does not get the full story until episode 11/12. The scene at his Ton's grave, with him talking to his Aunt was also well done. Team has survivor's guilt, and thought it is touched on, I don't feel like it was clearly stated.

This series was 12 episodes long with five couples. Team/Win, Waan/Tul, Bee/Prince, Manoaw/Pruek, and Pharm/Dean. That is not a lot of screen time for the main couple. I feel like the screen time taken for the other couples could have been used to flesh out more of Team and Win, maybe clear up the misunderstands a lot more quicker. I dont know how many times someone can either tell Team that Win does not usually do something, that he does for Team, or Win showing how much he cares and loves Team without saying it. Sometimes people don't know how to say 'I love you' but they have their own way of showing it. Win tried to run from his feelings, he even went to bar and invited Tul and his brother Waan. Tul states somethin

I still love the friendship between Manaow/Pharm/Team and now we have a clearer view of their relationship that we didn't see in Until We Meet Again. Just like in this series, we see snippets of Pharm/Dean.

Enjoyable but repetitive

I started to watch 23.5 a few days ago and when I caught of up yesterday's episode, I thought I would give a Love Senior a try.

Basically the plot is Manaow is a first year student in the Engineering Department and she is tasked with getting signatures of her seniors. In order to achieve getting Gyoza to sign, she must compete in a festival with another student.

By the third part of the first episode, I felt like I had missed something. How did Manaow and Gyoza become so close, so quickly? But I had not missed anything, there relationship and interactions just changed, more than likely because Manaow would say flirty and witty things, it was cute. Their relationship or progression of a relationship was not smooth sailing. From Gyoza's friend Warang having feelings for her, her first love Pyo , whose twin brother Pure also has romantic feelings for her (will talk about him later), to younger students Luktan and Belle, having feelings for Manaow, eventually this was not a love triangle, but a love hexagon or octagon.

By the time I got to episode 5, I really did not care about Manaow and Gyoza relationship anymore. I started skipping some parts because I wanted to know how the drama starts. I was angry at Manaow for kissing Luktan, during the time that she felt that Gyoza did not return her feelings. I knew Luktan was going to try to break them up, but I wanted Noaw to inform Gyoza herself after they finally get together. WHY ARE YOU KEEPING THIS FROM HER? WHY CAN'T YOU ALL JUST TALK?

The whole setup between Manoaw and Belle was really cruel. Manoaw was drunk and not only did Luktan take advantage of that, but she also drugged Belle, in order to stage them sleeping together on the couple's anniversary. Gyoza spending time with Warang, who at this point has started a relationship with Prang so her former feelings Gyoza are just genuine friendship. Manoaw doesnt believe it, so she is jealous. Gyoza becomes jealous of Belle and Luktan because she knows they have feelings for Noaw. The way Luktan tells her what happened between her and Noaw, Gyoza should not have found out that way. When Gyoza disclosed her relationship with Poy and how she was her first love, I feel like that that was when should have told her about Luktan. Or anytime. She should know.

Episode 9 pissed me off and broke my heart at the same time. There was a comment on Youtube that stated Gyoza has a support system so when she is upset, she has people to ask for advice and give her comfort. Noaw doesn't have that. She only has herself. So she copes with things, her own way, usually by drinking.

When Gyoza states to Noaw 'never show your face to me again', she leaves, but she continues to look after Gyo by bringing her snacks and drinks. that she leaves either on her door knob or her motorbike. Luktan and Belle think they may have a chance with Moaw but she continues to love Gyo from afar. Even when Noaw finds out the truth of what happened that night, she does not run to tell Gyo, she just keeps her self, continuing to abide by Gyo wish, to never see her face again, which broke my heart.

And when Gyo finally finds out the truth from Belle, she runs into Luktan, who initially pretends like she does not now what she is talking about, before confessing her hatred of her, because Maow still continues to love only Gyoza.

Gyo getting hit by a car after her confrontation with Luktan. I was pissed when she was bit by the car and she was bleeding from her head, because I knew in what direction this was going to go. She was going to get amnesia and not remember Moaw. What also pissed me off is Pure, pretending to be her boyfriend, taking advantage of her amnesia to his benefit. Like who the fuck does that?

I did enjoy the reconciliation. Where Gyo starts to remember Manoaw, like flashes of her hearing her voice, or dreams. When she graduates, she sees a bunny costume which sparks a memory. I was glad when she left Pure after he asked her to his girlfriend, which in a way doesn't make sense. If she is already his girlfriend, why did he have to ask? Now that I care or think it is important. She apologies before running up to find the person in the bunny costume.

I loved the scene where Gyo hugs Moaw from behind, asking where she has been. Moaw struggles emotionally as she moves Gyo arms from around her waist, stating she must have mistaken her for someone else and starts to walk away. The balloon pops and Moaw instinctively covers her senior's head and Gyo moves closer to Noaw. Slowly the two pull apart where Moaw apologies again before turning away and Gyo stops her by grabbing her wrist. Now more sure than ever, who this girl is to her.

I lost count of how many times I watched that scene. Maybe five times before my fiance called me where I began telling him about this show I just finished.

This show is a rollercoaster of emotions. Neither Luktan nor Pure had any repercussions for their actions. Pure took advantage of Gyo’s memory loss to state that he is her boyfriend, and Luktan drugged and blackmailed Belle. She violated people for her owngain, but what’s to tell Moaw that she went too far during their confrontation in the gym. Excuse you! YOU went too far. You should have gone to jail! It is like Lhong from Tharntype all over again.

I read online that this was supposed to have 12 episodes instead of the 10, which I feel would have been better to finish telling the story. I know some fans stated it was rushed, but I was happy at the end with them getting back together. Maybe that is why there are a few loose ends, and why Luktan didn’t have repercussions, if it had 12 episodes we probably would have saw that, maybe the ending would have been different. I do want to try to find out, if the ending in the book is the same as the show.

I don’t see myself rewatching this entire series, but I will watch certain scenes again. This series gives me Sotus vibes because of the engineering backdrop, and the senior/junior relationship. If Manaow and Gyoz would have communicated, a lot of the miscommunication would have been avoided. Luktad would not have been able to stage that, because Manaoaw would not have gone out drinking on their anniversary.

I understand it is needed for drama, but I hope somewhere along the line, we get a healthy relationship in a GL, where the couple talk about things that bother them.

Enjoyable

I loved Manner of Death in 2020 and even listening to someone read the novel.

When I found out that the author had another book that was adapted into a tv series, I could not wait to watch it. The issue was trying to find the series which I eventually did.

I saw a lot of reviews say how amazing it is. The plot is good but sometimes the execution is questionable. Maybe because of scenes made me pause to either laugh at or question.

Each time Tin, fails to save a boy that is rushed to the ER because of a car accident, when he falls asleep, he wakes up on July 18th to redo it over. He initially doesn't care about him, because of his feelings of his sister being killed by a man who was drinking and driving. The smell of alcohol causes him to infer that the boy may have been drinking and driving. Jinta is there to explains that Tin has to save Tol in order to out of the loop. Tin tries to change shifts so that he is not on night duty when Tol comes in, but of course that doesn't work. He also tries to find Tol after his classes to explain that he is going to die that night and not to drive, That doesn't go over well either. Each loop though does give more clues to a bigger pictures such as a well known doctor purposely getting patients who have a certain diagnoses in order remove a tumor from their kidneys, but is actually removing the whole kidney without the patients being aware.

The last few episodes were confusing. Such as how Tin was able to meet Tol again at the watch tower when we saw his body be put in the ambulance. The roles being reversed and Tol now having to change the heart of Tin, who has lost sight of his faith. In this regard, the both change the other in a good way. The ending scene did make me excited for Transplant if we ever get it. I am not sure who killed Dr Sak, (I knew he looked familiar. He played Type's father in TharnType), the doctor that was illegally selling the kidneys of patients. I think it was Dr. Doi, who was working with Dr. Sak and tried to kill doctors such as Gap and Sing and even Rit. It was a bit shocking with how characters were tied together.

Overall, I enjoyed it. I don't see me reaching this, but I enjoyed the mystery and how events changed.

Short but impactful

This was another drama that I started when it first aired in 2020, but did not finish along with Color Rush and Oxygen.

I thought this was going to be a sweet story between a bodyguard and the male he was protecting but it was a bit more than that. The emotions I had while watching was unexpected.

I went into thinking that bodyguard, Kang Gook, would be the one to find his feelings changing for his friend, but it turned out to be the other way around. With Kang Gook, seeming to be finding someone who liked him, instead of Han Tae Joo, the guy most people are attracted to, Han Tae Joo finds himself upset. Though he comes to terms with his feelings a lot quicker than expected. Even to the point, where he confirms it with his father. Knowing that he will be sent to England.

Kang Gook telling Han Tae Joo that the week he spent in Japan was the happiest because he was free of him and looking after him, was so heartbreaking. You can tell it was not true, but it left the mark he wanted it to.

The time lapse was nice. With the episodes being so short, it is hard to tie everything together. I don't know if the movie will add extra scenes to help it flow better. I keep saying I am going to start Kinnporsche but I keep trying to finish series that I have yet to complete or ones that are short.

Painful but I loved the end

I went into this still confused on some events of the first season (thankfully, someone commented on the review and helped clear up some things). From the summary, I knew that either Seo Joo or Ji Woo had left ending the relationship with a note, but I wasn't sure which it was. I expected to to last much of the season with one looking for the other, but it was resolved within the first episode.

For most of the season, the audience is trying to find out what Ji Soo left Seo Joo. Seo Joo spent a year looking for him, only to find him in his home village, living in the house he did during his childhood and had opened a restaurant that is not doing so well in its location. The reasonings his gave and his cold attitude towards Seo Joo doesn't make sense especially from where the first season left off. Watching Seo Joo trying to talk to Ji Woo, getting to know the villagers and even call Ji Woo at the restaurant numerous time to tell him to come pick up his stuff was just heartbreaking. No matter how frustrated and confused I felt, I wanted answers. We meet the Village Chief, Han Da Kyung, who is a neighbor to Ji Woo and her daughter Yoo Ha, who called Ji Woo 'Dad". We also meet Jung Sung Yoon who is not only from the same village as Ji Woo but also his ex girlfriend. I watched this on Viki and the comments were so rude about her character. I enjoyed the banter banter between Seo Joo and Sung Yoon, they both dated the same person but as different parts of his life.
Seo Joo tried so much that there times that I just wanted him to stop and just leave Ji Woo behind. He didn't deserve him. Based off of Ji Woo mannerism, I wondering if it was autistic but undiagnosed. In an epilogue there is a clip of Ji Woo telling Seo Joo that is not hard to hang his clothes going the same direction. I could be wrong but it was just what I got from things. Towards the end, we finally got Ji Woo perspective on his relationship with the two people and how different they were. He watched a live stream on Seo Joo birthday, not knowing that Seo Joo stated that he wasn't staying because he was celebrating with his partner which is the day that Ji Woo left. I do love when Ji Woo decides to stay at Seo Joo apartment and the CEO leaves. Ji Woo leaves and returns with ingredients for dinner (which is looked like saffron rice) "Who do you think you are'? Seo Joo states. it was like saying how dare you come in here and make dinner as if things are how they used to be. You left me, remember? And then Ji Woo explains and states how was confused and states things he wasn't Seo Joo to stop doing, and the two talk some more and with that the two get back together. Would this have been better if it was stated in the first place instead of him just leaving? Yes. But the growth of the two and the realization the two go through, was worth the end result. I may watch the last few episodes again just to understand Ji Woo feelings and points of view again. I do not see myself turning this on again to watch fully, but there were scene in this that I really liked.

There is also the issue of Seo Joo panics attacks. He mentions how his parents left him, but we see from the phone conversations that his health were primarily the reason as to why they dissociate themselves with him. Which is a way is sad. They also didn't attend observation at school like with Yoo Ha and her Mom who is so busy with work that she forgets and lets her daughter down a lot. The Villagers also seem to be punishing Ji Woo because of something that his parents did years before so no one is really coming to the res. I know that small towns and villagers are untruthful of newcomers but to punish their child. I am still not really clear on that myself.

Cute but confusing towards the end

Needing to lay low after an incident that causes his popularity to decline, actor Kang Seo Joo is tasked to stay at the house of Han Ji Woo, a chef that works at a local restaurant. They first meet when Seo Joo has to go to the bathroom and decides to stop at a restaurant. He asks the young man to make him something quick and delicious but ends up not eating the dish because of the egg on top.

The two don't start out so well. Ji Woo is cold towards him which Seo Joo doesn't understand. He even mentions that he wants to get closer to him a few times. When someone throws rocks at the window, Ji Woo confronts him and gives him a glass of water. This marks a turning point for them. Seo Joo even starts working at the restaurant that Ji Woo is working at.

They play basketball which was just a funny and cute scene. For someone who is suppose to keep a low profile, he is not doing a good job of that. He keeps telling people who he is. The drunken kiss is another turning point in their relationship and the confession made my heart leap. It was sweet and sincere.

I knew there was something going on with Ji Soo boss. The restaurant wasn't doing well and I thought he may have been jealous of Seo Joo because of how close he was to Ji Woo. I am still confused about the tape that was the cause of Seo Joo hiding. There was something in it that showed he wasn't the one responsible for the fight. And I still don't understand what was going on with the boss of the café. I wish that were more easier to understand.

I did enjoy the other confession. 'If you are unable to, then I will come to you." Seo Joo states (not the direct quote but something along those lines). It shows that Seo Joo understands Ji Woo may not be able to say it, but he does care and is just pushing him away because he does not want to get hurt.

I do wish that we got to know more about Ji Woo and what events happened in his life to make me not get close to people and I am curious why loud noises affect Seo Joo. In the end, the two stay living together and Seo Joo signs on to do a movie.

I see there is a season 2 so I will be watching that soon.

Short but interesting

I started watching this series in December 2020. It was not long after I first moved out, could have been before I watched Sotus or after.

The plot was interesting but I am not sure how execution. I felt like if the episodes were longer we probably could have developed the characters and plot more. The plot point of Yeon Woo's missing Mom and him constantly watching the news because of his own fear of harming his probe. He does become obsessed with seeing color and when it starts to fade back to gray you can see his despair of him trying to hold on to the color for a little longer. He even admit that he wants to lock Yoo Han up. Because of this, he feels it is best to take himself out of the equation to protect him. I thought Yoo Han was going to find him, but I was surprised that it was his Aunt. She got back just in time.

His Aunt is overprotective but I can understand her reasoning. She lost her sister, who she is still trying to find and does not want to lose her nephew too.

I am not sure if season 2 will give us more answers to his mother's disappearance. The scene of him seeing his mother's painting in color, and that the ribbon in her hair was yellow was a great scene.

I will admit that there were some great scenes and I liked the chemistry of the characters, It just left me feeling like some questions were answered or was never touched on after they were introduced.

I feel like something is wrong with me

I have been hearing about this series for a few months and after watching a video on Youtube concerning enemies to lovers relationships, I decided to give this show a try. I initially starting watching 10 mins of SOTUS S be realizing I was on the wrong show.

Everyone loves this show. The acting was good but something about the plot just did not grab me. I did love the last two episodes. I wish I had found this series when it first aired. I may have been more invested and rooting for Kongpob and Arthit more but I just found Arthit to be a jerk, especially when it came to Kongpob confessing. I will admit that I did love that scene because it shocked me. I did love the scene when Kongpob ordered iced coffee than changed it to pink milk.

I do want to watch SOTUS S to see how their relationship progresses but I am not sure if I would watch this series again. I liked some of the other relationships like May who has a crush on Kong and the possible relationship between Prem and Wad. Let's see what SOTUS S has in store. I will be watching that soon.
