pretty average
This is just a crime drama—nothing super special about it. The main characters are fine, but not as compelling as literally any of the side characters.
The main couple is underdeveloped but we’re supposed to cheer for the ending; if you don’t develop it, I don’t necessarily see a point in forcing it at all. The implied side couple with maybe 5 minutes of screen time together are better than the two main characters’ relationship.
Additionally, big scheme-y plot reveals happen in the final episode, and it would have been way more interesting had they happened in the series. Having it all revealed at the end felt lazy, and I honestly didn’t know where the main character stood on the main issue for the whole series.
This is also very heavy in content, and very graphic at times, so be sure to heed the tags when deciding to watch.
Ssing Harit, Natherine, and Victor Chatchawit were particularly good in this. I think everyone had a good performance, but the side characters were definitely a little more compelling. Probably due to the main character standing for nothing till about the last three episodes.
Overall, it was a fine show. I liked it—watched it for Ssing Harit, stayed to see how the mess would turn out. It’s not a must-see or anything, but if you’re bored and like crime dramas, it could be for you.
