I'll be honest, I tried watching this drama while it was on air and after 6 episodes I've dropped it. I thought it wasn't good enough. But I WAS WRONG. After watching Princess Agents I've been craving for some romance and a happy ending. I've researched and this drama was the perfect remedy according to the comments under Princess Agents page. So I've tried to watch this again but decided to use a different approach, I started at Episode 25 and damn I was hooked. After finishing the series that was when I decided to watch from the first episode to the last and after watching for the 2nd time, I can't seem to get over it so I've watched it again the 3rd time :) So if you are like me that wasn't impressed from the first few episodes I suggest you start around episode 23 and from there I believe you'll get hooked and would want to watch it all over again and again. If you like cultivations, fantasy, deities and a fan of chinese novels then this is a perfect drama for you. If you are not much into fantasy or isn't aware of cultivations from chinese novels then I guess this drama isn't for you or maybe you could give it a try if it's to your liking especially if you are into good romance. Lastly, I have to mention this... The female actress portraying the main character was undeniably amazing! Her acting skills are superb! Now I'm really a big fan of hers.
