Something new, an interesting watch

Before getting into the storyline, I'd like to appreciate the insane acting skills of all the actors involved, they have done a phenomenal job,

Coming to the plot, the story is about Ji Sun Woo who thinks her life is perfect, until one day, when she discovers her husband is cheating on her, and all of her "friends" knew about it, her world comes crashing down. Its a story that further develops into the actions the "Married couple" takes, which changes a lot of scenarios, and the life of the people around them.

Let's come to the characters now:
1) Ji Sun Woo : She is the main character of this story and I loved how she handles (most of) the things. The 2nd episode where she realizes that her husband is cheating on her and she finds out that bag from the car, I felt so bad for her. She is strong, and independent on anyone. She fights for herself, and doesn't ask for help or pity. I liked that about her. However, some of the things she does are pretty questionable, like using his son to get to his husband, or having sex with her husband's friend in the name of revenge, etc. She goes insane and starts losing it somewhere in the middle of the drama, as a result of which she pushes her son away and he feels trapped. There are some things she could've handled differently.

2) Lee Tae Oh : He's the worst. And the fact that Park Hae-Joon (the actor) was hesitating about if he could play the character well? He did an amazing job. I hated Tae-Oh and nothing he did, could convince me even 1% that he was a good man, cause he wasn't. He just did what he thought was right/good for him and cheated on his wife as he pleased, stole his son's policy money, kept a mistress for 2 years and his friends knew about it, tried to harass his ex-wife, stalked people, and god, the list goes on. Even after Da-Kyung leaves her in the end, he doesn't get his lesson and stalks his family again, and drinks around. I mean how wasted can you be?

3) Lee Joon-Young (the son) : This role is played so perfectly, I can't explain. The amount of stress, frustration, hatred, weird, fucked up thoughts and mental problems one can experience after he sees his parents getting separated, is portrayed perfectly by him. I know many people find his behavior questionable and don't like the things he did, arguing that he could've handled things better. But let's not forget, the teenage boy, saw his dad kissing another woman, and saw his dad behaving everything was perfect the very next moment. He saw his mom driving him to the middle of nowhere, saw his dad almost strangling his mom to death, and the mean kids at school talking about him and his parents in the most absurd ways possible. All of this drives him insane, and he develops Kleptomania, and suffers through anger issues. As a young child, he refuses to understand his parents after they put him through so much, and all he demands is for his life to become normal, isn't that what he's supposed to get?

4) Yeo Da-Kyung : Well, I hated her. She didn't just steal someone's husband, but their entire life destroyed because of what she did. I mean how hard is it to just stay away from a married man, and have your boundaries when you know they're married? No matter how hard she tried to make it up, to her parents, her husband or even Joon-Young, it was all in vein. Although, she does really understand that what she did was not good and leaves with her daughter, to follow her dreams, is a good end for her. Ladies, don't waste your 20's over a man. Especially if he's married lol.

5) Je-Hyuk and Ye-Rim : This couple caught my eye. Most of the times, side couples are just there, for the story, enhancing the lives of the main leads in some way or the other. But I really liked the way they handled this couple. The fact that Ye-RIm was the kind of woman who put up with his cheating husband for so long, and kept forgiving him, shows how sometimes people can be, that you always want to trust the person over and over again if you love them, even if they keep hurting you. And even though, Je-Hyuk realizes his mistakes, and does every little thing to make it up to her, she just couldn't trust him again. It was only right that she moved on from someone like him, and lived a better life(I hope).

5) The Bar tender girl and her crazy boyfriend : She definitely deserved better. The way she cried when her boyfriend dies, shows she did really love him. But the guy was just too stupid. I understand he was unloved, and so he didn't know what he was doing to her, in the name of love. But he didn't deserve to die a mysterious death like that though. They don't even tell us if he was killed, or if committed suicide. We need an answer on that!

Other side characters :
The other lady doctor at the hospital, I get it that she was single and desperate to achieve success, but betraying her friend all of the time, and then pretending that she didn't is really not done.

Dr. Kim, he was the only one who was good natured at the end of the day, he helped Joon-Young with his therapy, saved Sun-Woo multiple times, and was calm minded all the time. I really liked how he handled the situations all the time.

The lady from Women's Association whose Chairman husband cheated on her : Well what a description, but now we know who I'm talking about right? She always had a wit for what was going on around her, and she observed everything from a distance, only meddling in when she needed to. She shut people down who were wrongfully gossiping about other people and supported Sun Woo at times. A good character.

At last, the overall story was good, and I enjoyed most part of watching it, although it does get stretched at times before the final end, imagine a 16 ep drama with 1.5 hours showtime. That's crazy. However, the actors did an amazing job at playing their roles, and the music was just right. I love how they used that one Marriage song to describe Tae-Oh's craziness. The cinematography is good, some of the scenes are really well shot. Kudos to the team.

I don't really rewatch dramas because my "to-be-watched" list is never ending, so it'll be a dishonor to them haha.
But this goes down to the list of the dramas which were something different, something which will not erase from my memory, and I'll remember for a long time. A good watch.
