Adorable first half. Mediocre second half.
Continued to watch the show because of the concept. This is my first ever time watching a show that featured animals turned into humans arc, so I figured to give it a shot, but supposing it was a short web series, the plot holes hindered me from fully engaging in the romance side of it.I get that Milk and Choco became humans and started feeling human-like emotions, hence them, falling in love with humans, more specifically the Uncle and Jung Woo was sort of valid. However, the development of how it came to that stage was poor but understandably so, considering this is only a short web series.
The acting was not at all bad. The actors did pretty well, except for some emotional scenes being kind of stiff from the actor playing Jung Woo, which caused me to not feel those scenes as much as I would've liked to.
The first half of the show really carried it for me. It was cute and funny, mostly because of the animal-like characteristics Milk and Choco displayed that was executed well. The second half was where the romance began, which was where it fell off for me. Once again, mostly because of the lack of development. In my opinion, they could've partnered up the voice-overs of the actors with montages of how they came to realize how they fell in love with each other which would've made it better, but what's done is done.
The last episode for me was like a mere spin-off for those who wanted a positive ending, but I'd simply like to imagine that episode 10 was the real ending, since it's more realistic.
Jung Woo had to accept the reality of not being able to bring back people and things that were already gone and that's something everyone should learn to accept as well, hence episode 11 being kind of a turnoff for me. Despite this, I understand that it's a form of escapism for some people, and I have nothing against that.
It was a solid 7/10 show for me. Definitely worth a shot at watching.

A heart-clenching watch for family & friendship-oriented individuals.
It’s the kind of show that will get your mind and heart to battle the constant contradiction of events and actions happening by the characters given their circumstances with your morals. It’s the way you can’t even blame any of them for the decisions they make and how they decide to treat the people around them because you too wouldn’t know what to do if you were in their situation. This show will surely get you thinking about what you would do if you were placed in the same predicament as the main characters, hence I say that this is a heart-clenching watch for family & friendship-oriented individuals.
The acting got me in the absolute feels and really made me feel as if I was in the situation with them, making me almost tear up a couple of times. You can’t help but feel extremely empathetic for each and every character because of what they’ve gone through and how it was shown with so much convincing emotion.
As of episode 7, the romance side of things are getting a bit unrealistic. It's crazy how Kongkwan still has feelings for Phukao after all the emotional distress and forced physical contact he's made on and caused to her, but I genuinely wouldn't know since I'm a lesbian, so I'll just have to witness and see how this develops.
Definitely a worthy show to watch. As of the seventh episode, I rate it a 8/10.
Ps. I’m a Kongkwan protector through and through, so I’m extremely sorry for the person I’m going to be if someone even dares to lay a finger on her. I have my fucking eyes on you, Phukao. Y'all have already kissed in episode 7, so I'm hoping for some change in treating her, cause I swear to God, it wouldn't make sense otherwise.

A well-produced office set BL.
I personally liked how Jong Chan taught Seung Hyun about setting boundaries for himself on things that he should and shouldn’t do for people in the workplace. An added bonus on how it became the bridge for him to invite him to have a meal together, probably because Jong Chan took pity and noticed how hard Seung Hyun has worked so far. I viewed it as a good transition.I haven’t read the web novel so I have no basis and clue on how they’re going to develop and get closer from here, so I’ll just have to wait and see.
Production-wise, I loved the ambiance the show gave, it was a pleasant watch.
Regarding their chemistry/dynamic, I could feel the immense gap in their position, which I consider significant since it’s a good opportunity for developing their relationship past this. So far, Jong Chan understands that in order for things to work with him and Seung Hyun, he has to take things out of work and into their personal lives, which makes it less about their power dynamics and simply between two guys who have feelings for each other.
The kiss scene wasn't anything spectacular but it only makes sense why.
As of 3 episodes, the show’s an 8.5/10 for me.

A fluffy and ‘will get you in the feels’ high school BL.
They had little to no room for error with the plot and setting of this show and I’m glad they actually executed it well.I love how different Tinn is whenever he’s not with Gun, which just goes to show the reality of how we really actually are with the people we like versus when we're not in the vicinity of them, hence they genuinely hit the spot in this aspect knowing that a lot of their target audience would relate greatly to it. Them doing this in a not that much of a crazy way, like obsessed type of level, and instead mirrored it to how an actual high school student would be like when having a crush, also made me appreciate it more.
Their chemistry so far is great, you really feel like they're teenagers catching feelings for each other. They’re making me feel more like a teenager in love than I already am and I'll take that as a good indicator of their chemistry.
The development they had, leading up to Gun being able to show his vulnerability to Tinn was greatly executed. I loved how Tinn wasn't all about how he can make Gun like him but instead, he was all about how he could help him be happy.
I also appreciate how they tackled the "Identity vs Role" stage of life. I felt that they inserted it quite well and is a great eye opener for potential and current young viewers because it's such a realistic obstacle one faces in their life.
Ps. Top-tier music covers. Even the OST will make you feel things.
As of the 5th episode, I’m giving it a 9/10.

A good ‘can’t go wrong’ storyline with a so-so execution.
If I was being honest, I loved the first episode. I could already tell I would want to finish it entirely from the story and its elements. (such as the bodyguard and rich mc x poor mc tropes, which I'm usually a sucker for)The chemistry, in my opinion, was a little stiff during the first episode and was just slightly more bearable in the second. The chemistry definitely had a better shift in the third episode, not a drastically good change, just a noticeable improved positive change, nonetheless, I’m pretty sure that it will get better once Ben is out of the picture since it seems like Nuengdiao’s attention is split between him and Palm.
I personally loved the, “I’m not looking for a protector but a friend” agenda Nuengdiao had, knowing that he comes from a very guarded and rich family that prevented him from ever forming deep connections with other people his age. The development they’re doing with the two also seems promising, so hopefully, this keeps up.
I say it was a so-so execution since I’m aware that this all boils down to personal preference. Some people would absolutely love this show and its essence, some would appreciate it but not fully be able to immerse themselves because of the acting so far (aka me), especially from the actor playing Palm, considering that his character is supposed to have so much depth and room to play out the protector role of Nuengdia better, I expected him to have more emotion than just always looking intimidated and or shy. At the same time, some would rather not touch it because of some plot holes and questionable lack of logical elements that should’ve been introduced given the situation of the show.
I appreciate how Chopper is very real and it’s great to have a character that isn’t your typical all-hate-in-his-mind person knowing he could’ve been so with his background and environment.
As of the 4th episode, I’m rating this show a solid 7.5/10.
