This is easily one of my favourite variety shows so far and I'm so sad at how it ended so soon.

Not only were the children heart-warming; seeing them develop, learn new things and enjoy their time with the Uncles and Aunts was simply amazing. You develop a kind of special connection to the kids because you feel as if you were their parent watching how they are growing. Of course, I was brought to inevitable tears in the last episode when they left and when Park Na Rae and Jung So Min also started crying.

I don't think the hosts could have been better. Lee SeunGi and his passion for making people enjoy and his skills when building things; Park Na Rae with the inner child in her and being able to not only make the kids feel loved but the crew and the audience too; Jung So Min being the adorable women that she is herself and being able to understand and be so delicate with the kids; and last but not least Lee So Jin, everyone doubted whether he would be able to get comfortable around the kids but oh was he heartwarming with the strong affection he developed for some of the kids (and of course the delicious dishes he cooked that made me want to reach through the screen and eat them myself).

Would 100% recommend this show if you love kids and even if you don't so much, because you will end up loving every single aspect of this show.

I honestly don't even know how I made it through this show. I despised this drama so much that I thought about dropping it after every single episode I watched.

The major disappointment was definitely the storyline. I appreciated the fact that it tried to stand out from the romance genre with it's "dark" and "weird" characters, but it just didn't do the job for me. I was so confused and frustrated with them. Yoo Jung was a mix between a cold, dark and soft (but only towards Hong Seol) character. Hong Seol was simply not convincing when it came to the relationship with both her and Yoo Jung. I think it was mainly because of the fact that not many episodes went by for them to "fall in love". They went too fast in the beginning which is fine if there is a good development for the rest of the drama but that was not the case with this one. After every episode I doubted whether they were going to either continue with their relationship or breakup. They tried to explain Yoo Jung's cold and dark character with flashbacks about his high school days which I suppose were meant to make you fond of him but it was the total opposite for me. It just didn't justify his behaviour. It made me even more frustrated. I could go on about what else I didn't like about both these characters in particular but simply put, I felt like there was just no character development.

I do have to say that what made me reach the end of this drama was Baek In Ho and the relationship between Eun Taek and Bo Ra. I just fell in love with In Ho's character. After every episode I thought: "I want to know what happens to him". But at the same time, it confused the story even more. It was like a war between Yoo Jung and In Ho which made me wonder why Hong Seol wasn't convinced enough to go with the latter. I honestly appreciated the decision of putting Eun Taek and Bo Ra together. I thought there was at least some hope for love in this drama.

At the end of it, I was just so uninteresed that I didn't even care about Yoo Jung and Hong Seol's relationship.

Overall I wouldn't watching it again.

Sweet & Sour is your typical rom-com, but that does not mean it's bad.

The problem that many couples face today is how they can survive in a highly industrialized and work focused society. It is no wonder that couple success rates are lower and lower each year, since so many struggle to balance their life in terms of work and love. So, are you willing to sacrifice your job for your relationship? That is the not so simple question this film poses.

This film simply shows you how easily a huge workload can tear your relationship, especially a long-distance one. This isn't done in a revolutionary way, but it is interesting enough that it'll want you to keep watching. It might even make viewers rethink their values and life choices. And it has a nice little twist at the end that I'm sure many will enjoy.

The overall atmosphere of this movie is cosy and the cinematography and music are good but, again, nothing revolutionary.

I would recommend you to watch this during a rainy afternoon when you don't have much to do, and when you might be feeling a bit down. That's exactly what I did, and it even made me shed a few tears.

Hotel del Luna was presented as an intriguing, somewhat pitiful yet comidic drama, which on its own drew in my attention. And Lee Ji Eun as the main character? Say no more.

Story:
We are set off with Jang Man Wol's story and the beginnning of the existence of the Moon Guest House but are however left as to why this occurs. Later on we are presented with Goo Chan Sung, the child, who because of his father, is tied to Hotel del Luna for the rest of his life. Throughout the development between both characters' relationship, we come across the lighthearted yet somewhat sentimental stories of the ghost guests, building a sense that ghosts are nothing to be afraid of as they were also humans who had died, often leaving regrets behind. The hotel features Mr. Kim (the bartender), a funny and down-to-Earth man, Mrs. Choi (rooms manager) a heartwarming and rational woman and last but not least Ji Hyun Joong (hotel receptionist) an adorable and sentimental guy. You get to know each character and sympathise with their background story and why they hold grudges that make them unable to go to the afterlife. Jang Man Wol's past is shown and built up throughout the entire drama and each time an episode ends it leaves you on a cliffhanger wanting more. I have to say that it would have been nicer if the way she had confronter her grudge/regret would done her past justice. Personally the story that got to me the most was Ji Hyun Joong's.

Acting/Cast:
From the main cast to the cameos, everyone's acting was exceptionally impressing and captivating. After 'My Mister' Lee Ji Eun proved that her acting skills were not simply those of a singer, but could instead be compared to great actor's and actresses'. She perfectly delivers Jang Man Wol's character with all the conflicting memories and emotions she carries. It was my first time seeing Yeo Jin Goo in a drama and I can safely say that I could tell this man had been in the game for a couple of years. Only then I found out that he is 22 years old, which blew my mind completely. He depicts Goo Chan Sung's composed and disciplined character but also manages to make you laugh due to his innocence. I have to add that there was this particular scene in which he broke down into tears; completely heart-wrenching and made me cry like a baby. All the other actors and actresses impressed me beyong expectations, whether I had seen them before or I was seeing them for the first time.

Cinematography/Styling:
I think it's particularly important to point out how amazing the production, camera work and editing was. I was in awe with every single setting and didn't realise how much a particular background or colour scheme could bring out emotions until I saw Hotel Del Luna. Of course, Jang Man Wol's outfits/style was the talk of the town. You could probably count up to 10 outfits and hairstyles in each episode and they were all absolutely beautiful and mood-fitting. So a really big round of applause to all the crew because they really did a great job.

Music:
I don't think I had seen such a powerful OST lineup in a really long time. Not only does the music accompany the scene but in fact makes the scene, it intensified it to an extent beyond imaginable. My personal favourites were All about you (그대라는 시) by Taeyeon and Done For Me by Punch, the latter being absolutely heart-wrenching with that heavy instrumental part in it.

Rewatch value:
I would probably watch this drama again now that it's complete because, believe me, it was a pain to watch it whilst it was airing. Watching all the episodes at once will definitely allow me to maintain the same mood throughout the drama and I will probably enjoy it even more. (I do have to say that sometimes the 1h 30min episodes tired me out a bit and seemed unnecessary long).

In conclusion, would I recommend watching this drama? YES. Nothing else to say, just watch it.

Although I'm writing this some months after watching the show, I would like to write a review as I am planning to watch this drama yet again because of how much I loved it.

I remember having this drama in my 'Plan To Watch' list for a long time although I wasn't exceptionally excited about watching it since I'm not fond of the historical genre . However, because I knew IU starred in it and I was really curious as to how her acting skills were, I decided to give it a go.

Before starting this drama, I had no previous knowledge of who the cast members were except for IU. The moment I saw Ji Soo , Nam Joo Hyuk and Baekhyun I was really surprised. I really liked Ji Soo's and Nam Joo Hyuk's acting skills in past dramas but I was unaware of Baekhyun's acting experience.

In the beginning, nothing really caught my attention about the story until things started to get real dark and the back story to many relationships had been revealed. That was when things started to get interesting beyond my imagination. The rivalry between the princes who were in love with Hae Soo, the rivalry between the brothers in order to gain a place on the throne...But as the sucker for romance that I am, what I enjoyed the most was the couples. My favourites without doubt were Wang So and Hae Soo, Wang Eun and Park Soon Duk and Baek A and Woo Hee. The actors and actresses overall delivered the characters' ways almost perfectly and I would especially like to point out Hong Jong Hyun's (Wang Yo) acting as he perfectly acted out the character's straighforwardness and how cold blooded he was in this drama.

I definitely didn't expect the tragic ending. I was so shocked at how things has ended so twisted up. That definitely came off as the drama's charm to me as it is rare to find dramas with sad endings. It was what made me decide that I would definitely want to watch this show again.

The music was good although there isn't a song in particular which I remember loving.

This has definitely been included in my top 3 dramas!

Backstreet Rookie seemed like a promising drama and I was genuinely looking forward to it ever since it was announced. However, my expectations seemed to be too demanding.

Story:
Since the beginning, it feels like the plot is trying to build up to something. And like the fool that I am, I really thought there was going to be some sort of big revelation. Yet the story falls flat. 6 episodes in, it looked like the plot was finally going to pick up, but those expectations were met with disappointment. The story simply relies on slapstick humour and references. However, I must say that the drama was enjoyable enough for me to watch the entirety of it. This goes without saying that this is probably a personal preference. For others, this kind of plot might be highly entertaining,

Acting/Cast:
My favourite character is without doubt Jung Saet Byul. Despite how young Kim Yoo Jung is, she displays some phenomenal acting and transmits emotions like no other character in this drama. Strong female lead but soft on the inside, she will capture your heart and shake it like crazy. In terms of the character played by Ji Chan Wook... I have to confess that I have never seen a drama with him before, but from what I've seen in this one, he hasn't left a strong impression on me. Perhaps it's because the character is underdeveloped or relies simply on his looks, but I simply could not connect with Choi Dae Hyun. Regarding the character of Yeon Joo...had I not known Han Sun Hwa used to be an idol, I would have genuinely believed she has been in this acting game for some time now. All the emotions and feelings this character encompasses, she delivered perfectly. I mean, she even made me hate her.

There is nothing else to say about this drama. It simply did not meet my expectations and all the hype it was building up to. It was a victim to an underdeveloped script and questionable character choices, which can understandably put many people off from watching it. A shame that a plot with so much potential ended up being a hollow-bunny.

For some reason I was quite reluctant to start watching W in the first place. However, considering that I had seen Lee Jong Suk in previous dramas, I decided to give it a go.

Story:
I have to admit that I felt the storyline was quite fast paced in the beginning, but I accepted it and even liked it at first. Half way through the drama, it was as if the story had taken a complete 180º turn which made little to no sense. It would have been nicer to watch if the rules which had been established in the first place to travel between the webtoon and the real world were given at least some respect, because it honestly seemed as if they had completely disregarded them in order to push the storyline through until the end.

Acting/Cast:
I personally don' think Lee Jong Suk was suited for this role. I definitely think his strongest genre is rom-com, so seing him act in a suspense/thriller kind of drama was weird and seemed rather awkward at times. For example, there were a few action (fight) scenes which seemed quite sloppy, but I do have to say that part of that is because of the camera angles and the editing which didn't make the scenes look particularly intense. However, I can assure you the romantic parts seemed quite real, because (again) he really suits the romance genre. I simply feel like Kang Chul was a really complex character and seemed like a big challenge. Han Hyo Joo was nice to watch, but then again a few more expressions would have been nice. I'll say that Jong Suk and Hyo Joo had great chemistry together (you can definitely see it in the behind the scenes). My favourite characters without doubt were Soo Bong (Lee Shi Eon) and Min Soo (Heo Jung Do) because they were just so fun to watch and there acting skills are varied and very good.

Music:
I believe the songs selected were mostly good and helped intensify the atmosphere. However, there was this song which had a rap in it, and I personally don't think it suited the moments in which they put this song. Apart from that, not much to comment on it.

Rewatch value:
To be honest, I don't think I would ever watch this drama again, apart from a few scenes which I found very cute such as the kiss scenes.

Would I recommend watching this drama? If you like action and a plot where you feel even more confused after an episode ends, then go ahead, this is the drama for you. If you are looking for a consistent romance storyline, I'd recommend you to look for another drama.

The Great Seducer was a drama that didn't really match the title. I was curious as to how this seducing part was going to work out considering the fact that they were 3 friends who just graduated from high school. I can say that's what drew me in.

Story:
I have to say that the first few episodes were really interesting not to say the least. It seemed as if this drama was going to have a really intense story line. The family part also looked promising. However, as the story progressed, it was as if the plot had changed. No one was seducing anyone and the 'family issue' plot was just falling apart. Because I'm a sucker for romance, I really loved the part where Tae Hee and Si Hyun were together. Side note: it would have been nice if they had explained a bit more about the supermodel who Si Hyun seduced.

Acting/Cast:
I always see a lot of people complain when an idol stars in a drama but I believe Joy did a good job portraying her character: a strong-willed yet fragile woman in her 20s. I personally believe Si Hyun was my favourite character to watch considering the fact that he had the most character development (I'll definitely check out more dramas with Woo Do Hwan in them + his eyes were really charming). I found Soo Ji's and Se Joo's characters very interesting at first but afterwards it was just boring to see the push and pull between them and I was just so confused about their relationship. One thing I have to say is that I found Kyung Ju very awkward to watch. I don't know if that's just the way Jung Da Ham acts or if it was her character but it was uncomfortable to watch.

Music:
Not much to comment on the music other than to say it fit the concept of the drama. Personally no song stood out to me.

Rewatch value:
I don't think I would rewatch this drama other than the romance parts. I definitely take episode 17 to my heart because it was just so sweet (I've actually rewatched that episode a couple of times already).

Overall, I don't think it's a bad drama. It was entertaining to watch.

I don't think I feel entitled to write a review on this drama as I have only seen 4 episodes and there was barely anytime for me to form an opinion on this drama.

The sole reason why I was interested enough to watch it was because of Lee Joo Young.

I do believe I dropped this drama because I happened to be watching another drama at the same time. Personally, I have a really hard time liking mystery/crime dramas or shows because I think it's quite a genre to tackle (this comes from the fact that Castle is my favourite crime show so my expectations are quite high).

When I started to watch the show I honestly believed I would enjoy it. But as soon as they went to the nursery/school and the main character died but was living as a ghost...I don't know, I think everything was going to fast and seemed sudden.

I was actually forcing myself to watch it because I don't really like dropping dramas but nothing draw me back enough to continue.
