Hello!
A bit about me: I love films and series so much that I have a degree in them! However this also means that I'm hyper-aware of what goes into the production of films and series, and tend to judge a series by how much it makes me forget that I am watching a fictional story. I love watching things where you can sense the love and care that went into the production, even if it is a low-budget project. But mostly I love talking about series with other people, hence why I joined MDL!
My rating system (basically like I'm grading a test):
10 - I wouldn't change a thing. It likely made me cry several times. These have a satisfying story that still manages to leave me wanting more. Also I probably (definitely) have an unhealthy emotional attachment to these shows.
9-9.5 - I loved it but I have a thing or two that I might change or I thought something was missing. These are also pretty likely to have made me cry.
8-8.5 - Above average, mostly feel-good stuff with no problematic story. Good rewatches.
7-7.5 - Decent, nothing groundbreaking but I would recommend it. Usually pretty mindless.
6-6.5 - It held my interest long enough that I finished the series but I wouldn't rewatch or recommend these.
5.5 or below - I didn't like this enough to finish it or skipped through scenes to get through it. I tend to avoid rating things that I haven't finished since I don't feel like I have enough information to do so.
Feel free to send me messages or send a friend request, I love meeting new people and chatting about things we enjoy!
