Recommending Gaus Electronics to those who have watched Laughter in Waikiki 2. As mentioned in my other recommendation for the Season 1, both had this brand of humor in failure that as a viewer, we can't help laughing out loud how some situations gets silly and misunderstood. They both have romance too and I would say the couples in both dramas have really nice chemistry.

Recommending Gaus Electronics to those who have watched Laughter in Waikiki. Tbh, I had a hard time finishing the first episode of Gaus Electronics since I disdain verbal abuse and seeing people physically get hurt for nothing (although this was kinda unintentionally self-inflicted, but was kinda caused by his officemates). Just saying I didn't like in the first few parts of episode 1 but come episode 2 and I am laughing out loud like I had in Laughter in Waikiki. If in Laughter in Waikiki, they had 3 struggling tenants not just financially but in other aspects in life, Gaus Electronics is centered on officemates who are in the same marketing team who is known for being a terrible team in the company that are usually prone to failure. Both had this brand of humor in failure that as a viewer, we can't help laughing out loud how some situations gets silly and misunderstood.

If you already watched Koi Desu, What She Likes could be a better or an alternative ending for the story for Shishio & Izumi. To be honest, I am torn with the ending they had whether it is even a good or a bad one.

On the other hand, if you already watched What She Likes, Koi Desu features a story similar to Jun but has a different reason why they want a relationship. I was struck with the conversation they had in the laboratory (the one Ono overheard/eavesdropped) and I feel like there is a similar conversation in Koi Desu. If you like watching people with such depth about getting into relationships, you'll probably want to watch Koi Desu.

They are similar in that both of these dating program is centered on love and friendship. They only differ in that in Between Love and Friendship (BLF), the participants are a male friend group of 4 and a female friend group of 4, meanwhile in Edge of Friendzone (EF), we got 4 pairs of "friends". Also, in BLF, there is no MCs/panel that reacts to the group interactions. (I'm fine with or without but I have to say, the panel of EF is too hyper for me, I mean we got already a very hyper cast member and when we got loud reactions from the panel, it is just too much. BTW, I adjusted well in the 2nd episode, can't drop this, it is so fun and interesting.)

Both dating shows gather a pair who are 'friends' in a beautiful villa where they can meet new people they can fall in love with or confirm/ignite their feelings for their 'friend'.

For the differences, in Love & Joy, we got the Enjoy couple interacting with the participants and facilitating the program meanwhile in Edge of Friendzone, they have a panel who reacts to their interactions. They also have their own unique system of participants showing interest with the person s/he chooses.

Atm, Serious About Marriage (SAM) hasn't been aired, but just reading from the description, this show reminds me of Love is Blind: Japan (LIB:J). Both dating shows have the end goal of marriage and after liking the endgame couple(s) for LIB:J, I am excited for SAM.

They differ in the format and duration since LIB:J has 10 days to know their partners blindly (through a pod with a wall blocking them from seeing the other person) and after the proposal, the formed engaged pair will get to know more of each other by living together for 3 weeks. Then after that, they can get married. So in contrast to LIB:J which had a duration of month for the participants to date, I think SAM would be less rushed but tbh, it is still kinda rushed?. But I'm here for the journey.

These are both dating shows that is centered about people who has a particular secret that could hinder (or have hindered) relationships from moving forward. They joined this show to find someone who can probably accept who they are WITH that secret. In Pink Lie, they have to lie about it and probably it gets revealed later on, but in REA(L)OVE, it gets revealed one by one by the person (when the production says so) to the other participants and don't have to lie.

Tbh, I don't recommend REA(L)OVE because it is just horrible way of presenting their participants.( I just added this recommendation because of the same premise. )Being in this kind of show itself is already making yourself vulnerable but RL also demean the participants who joined, like they are the joke. So if you want a terrible and dehumanizing version of Pink Lie or just want to get mad at people you don't know, then probably you should watch it.

Atm, I only have watched 2 episodes of PL and it presents the participant's secret with more sensitivity and offers acceptance. I am just hooked. Recalling the secrets from RL, I am curious to know the secrets of the participants of Pink Lie. By ep 2, the viewers already know 2 out of the 7 participants' lie.

These are similar in a way that they are both dating shows that test the premise of falling in love with only the inner selves of the other person. This is done with the participants interacting first with each other without seeing the other person's face.

In Love is Blind Japan, they can still hear the voice of the person they are dating but in Love In, they have avatars (which are hired actors) who are going to interact with each other. The duration of their getting to know each other part also differ. Since Love is Blind has the end goal of engagement, that show has longer time. Meanwhile in Love in, they only had 3 days.

Both are entertaining , but I am really liking the concept of Love In so much. You have avatars and actual people who instructs them what to do. There are times that the avatars looks enthusiastic but the real person is unattached and vice versa. I just watched the first episode and now I just want the next.

The plot of the two films are very different but the atmosphere of these movies are very similar, very reminiscent of the old Japanese and Korean movies I used to watch during my teenage days. Be With You itself is a Korean adaptation of a Japanese drama, that's why I recommended the film instead the drama series. Anyway, both are family-oriented dramas with swoon-worthy teenage romance.

I am recommending Soldiers to those who watch H Club only because of the competition/challenges that tests physical fitness. Soldiers is a combination of tactical and fitness while H Club is a dating show and fitness. Nevertheless, both has inspired me to work out.

This has the same chaotic energy levels. Both involves a 'contractual' relationship, a ML who is rich and very 'confident' and a hardworking FL. I hope I can say so much more but I can't since I am writing this since only 1 episode of WTV just aired. However, I am happy to say that a new drama can occupy the emptiness left when ABP ended.

It is similar that the main characters of both dramas are reputable professionals of law and something will happen that will put a dent on their career. Both also teaches in a law school. The drama will revolve on the their relationship with their student/s although it may include romance in "Why Her?".
