I grew up watching a lot of dramas and I used to go to the movies a lot to watch Wuxia films. When I was living in my home country - way before streaming days - we got a lot more Japanese and Chinese dramas/films on TV, it wasn't until I was in my teenage years that Korean dramas started to be more popular and I started watching more of them. Now, decades later I'm still watching them though I no longer live in Asia (yay streaming!). I'm also a huge scifi geek, so I watch plenty of scifi tv shows/films too, but in saying that, I don't limit myself to certain genres, I like watching a variety of them.
As an editor and camera operator/assist I'm interested in the storytelling and cinematography, and most of the times I watch dramas/films through this perspective. While as a performer, I'm especially interested in fight choreography and direction.
In general, I don't really rewatch dramas/films. However, I'd rewatch something if it was for research purposes for project/s I'm working on , and sometimes I'd rewatch films/dramas/series on special occasions (e.g. if on a movie night with friends and they want to watch something I've seen, then I'd watch it again).
