This was such a good slow-burn to me. Everything that seemed so mundane, from the start to the almost end was building the sadness in me, tugging the string so subtly, and by the end scene with the woman talking to the cat, that sadness came undone and detonated. The dull and gloomy scenes made me felt an emotion deep beneath. It's complex: I'm sad looking at both character as they looked as if they were on a verge of /something/. I'm angry at the man for being so calm and not trying to stop his wife. I'm angry at the wife for being mad at his husband. I'm perplexed as to why she would leave what seemed like a perfect husband. I could blame the monotony of their conversations, maybe the love died out and she doesn't feel the same anymore. I could understand them, but I can't really.
