The opening scene of Empress Ki has very little dialog, yet those 5 minutes brought me tears. Brilliant acting by Joo Jin Mo, Ha Ji Won, and Ji Chang Wook combined with breathtakingly beautiful music set the stage for an epic, unforgettable drama. Empress Ki set the bar so high I have since struggled to finish other dramas. And P.S., this was my first historical drama as well as the first drama I have watched over 24 episodes.
