centers around the contrast between the rich/working class families.
Main plot centers around FL's family past and present and finding her place in life.
HML is a lot better paced than LYOL imo, even if the main plot is a bit dull. The characters are much more likeable there too.
Lead couple are as adorable with a great chemistry and lots of banter, mutual support and small skinship with each other.

Things HML did better:
Same unfortunate obsessive second lead nonsense trope, in HML it is SFL instead SML, but it is handled much better than in LYOY. She is shown as unreasonable for the majority of the time while LYOL lacks that too much thus far.
Maknae couple is cute and has good development in there instead of being just annoying as hell.
Likable secondary couples with well developed progress, unlike LYOL thus far.
Antagonists are challenged regularly instead of being left to their evil devices.
Development of main/lead couple's relationship has a clear line and progress without the artificial "we can't be together" nonsense.

FNOS is lighter, more comedic in tone but mixes in thriller and spooky bits with a vengeful ghost and enemy from the leads' past lives that is after them, trying to kill them and murders several other people too. Past and present are stricter separated here but fate and reincarnation are huge themes here as well in regards of their past lives and "making things right" Vengeful ghost possesses people in order to reach its goal to take revenge on the leads. Is obsessed with FL as well. ML is a good if very tsundere guy there, unlike here tho lol. Slow burn romance, love/hate enemies to lovers tropes. Like here they have to solve issues of the past to be able to move forward.

Not much as about pregnancy (a side couple does experience unexpected pregnancy and another unfulfilled wish for children) or even has a contract relationship, but the respective children of the leads end up living together as one family after the leads (re)marry each other. So the theme of loving relatives and kids not of your own blood is quite present here too (later on)

Plus the secondary couple Sangmin/Yeontea in here remind me a LOT on the romantic dynamic of the TRHC leads, indeed.

Sangmin = prior playboy, never in a serious relationship till meeting YT, is super head over heels for her and showering her with puppy-like adoration. YT changes his life for the better, makes him rethink all prior beliefs.

Yeontae = school teacher cares a lot about ppl around her, very diplomatic and nice unless she is pushed too far. Feels the need to deal with problems on her own instead to ask for help, doesn't want to be a bother to others. She is way more reserved with her feelings, needs a lot time to get comfortable with any display of or receiving affection. Very set in her way, stubborn once her mind is made up and need a lot of convincing to reconsider something.

Plus they started off disliking each other too, until SM fell first for her and started to woo a very reluctant YT in a very adamant golden retriever fashion like Taekyung did with Yeondoo. So if you love the (romantic) dynamic of the TRHC leads with ML being head over heels and FL more reluctant, you find more of the same goodness in Five Enough's secondary couple and their story trajectory (minus pregnancy angst of course)

FNOS has same vibe with its Comedy, Supernatural, fated love/past lives/reincarnation romance genre mix. While ML in FNOS is no otherworldly being, a lot around him is. Ghosts/evil spirits instead of Grim Reaper but deals with a lot of life and death and second chances in its story/themes. Lead's love ended tragically in the past, but gets a new chance for happiness in the present. Both are humorous and light with serious/sad moments.

FNOS is also a mix out of off-beat comedy, mystery, investigation and romance with supernatural elements an an overarching plot/narrative. Like Good Job it never takes itself too seriously and puts its leads and characters in chaotic situations for the viewer's amusement. While GJ is more grounded in reality outside of FL's superhuman ability, both dramas have the same vibe.
Both FL's/ML's start off on the wrong foot and bicker a lot, but become partners who work together on cases quite quickly.
Both dramas are well-paced with its narrative, doesn't drag.
Tropes. All the tropes you love. (Or not)
Both ML have a secret identity of sorts, in FNOS ML keeps ability to see ghosts a secret and uses it for financial gain/fame only (magic tricks) until FL comes along.
While FNOS is over the top too and self aware of it, it definitely has a more coherent storyline than GJ.

Same theme of second chances, finding each other again and going against a predetermined bad fate that threatens to repeat. Aka love prevails
Both dramas have supernatural content/plot, though FNOS is less about the mythical legends and its fantasy more urban with ghosts. Same vibe though, as FNOS is also sometimes quite spooky and deals with the stories of deceased people.
Past life and lovers that ended tragic.
Reborn in modern times and meeting again by chance.
FNOS Is lighter and more humorous in tone, but ML is also a rich, kinda arrogant guy who keeps other ppl at arm's length. Both are equally soft under their harder, supposedly uncaring shell tho.
Evil, supernatural antagonist
Both FL's are outspoken, smart and brave. Not a doormat in the slightest.
Slow burn romance with satisfying development and ending

- Genre mix out of humor, thriller, mystery that does not take itself too seriously, even if it gets dark at times.
-Kinda the same darkish, off-the wall gallow humor and vibe
-Two people/ the main leads against the powerful, corrupt elite, taking them down one by one and getting revenge for their wrongdoings this way.
-Intricate cat and mouse game between both sides with no clear winner, push/pull between both sides.
- ML is unreliable narrator, aka what you see is not (always) what has actually happened. Is more than meets the eye and hides his true identity. Lies a lot.
- When all seems lost, ML has backup plans to turn the tides, or things are not as they seem.
- Both are anti hero archtypes, bending rules to achieve their goals with often drastic methods outside the law.
- Both have smart and resourceful FL's
- The prison crew/inner circle is similar to the plaza tenants, in a way :D

- Same screenwriter and it shows in her trademark quirky characters, setting/worldbuilding and situations.
- Tonally FNOS is much lighter and more comedy focused, but both shows share the well-executed mix of genres blending together to a well-written story.
- Ghost seeing and communicating ML instead of FL being the one
- Evil spirit Antagonist with ties to ML/FL
- Past Life Fated Love story
- In MPUB it was FL who was seemingly cold and distant but actually cared a lot about others. In FNOS it is the ML.
- Ghost employees, magic, shamans exorcising evil spirits, a grim reaper and 2000 yrs old general in best quirky MPUB fashion
- Close-knitted group of unlikely people solving murder cases with otherworldly help and saving the day
- a really cute, first love slow burn romance between the leads, akin to Kang Bae and Yeo Rin.
- a lot of supernatural shenanigans, sometimes of the creepy kind, mostly tho of the chaotic, funny kind.

Different but the same? Both drama are (slow-paced) slice of life stories about people in their thirties geared toward a mature, adult audience with lot of dialogue and little action and only subtle humor in between. Not office focused as FLAW is but both shows focus on a realistic, in-depth look into the definition of love, (romantic) relationships and traditional marriage as a concept in a very thoughtful and eloquent way. It also deals with topics and themes such as sexism and harrassment in the workplace, traditional gender stereotypes and its societal pressure, meddling, dysfunctional families and the generational conflict ensuing from all that etc.

The story focuses on three, very different couples, two side... one main. The romance of the main couple is slow-paced but starts from an unusual place as well, except that it is contractual, loveless marriage here instead of a passionate one-night stand turned into relationship like in FLAW. ML is the one who is cautious and afraid to get hurt again, but all the more to hurt others, introverted, but perceptive of others and logical to a fault. FL is inexperienced in love because she was too focused on work, but she is smart, a little idealistic/chaotic, headstrong and speaks her mind. Main couple also communicates well (for the most part) and deals with their conflicts in a mature, honest way. It depicts their struggle and growth needed to find a common ground for a healthy relationship together in a realistic manner, like in FLAW.
