My Little Happiness

Loved it!
As a fan of 'Put Your Head On My Shoulder', I was a bit skeptical when I first saw that these two actors were paired together, since, if you've seen PYHOMS, you would know that they previously played friends who had feelings for each other in the past/had current feelings. I did not like Fu Pei in PYHOMS, but I watched this drama anyway because I loved Fair Xing in PYHOMS. I can gladly say that the two lead actors exceeded my expectations, and I think they have great chemistry. Daddi Tang, who plays the ML, Wen Shaoqing, has greatly improved since PYHOMS, and I think he did great in this drama. There isn't much for plot in this drama, but I honestly was just looking for something cute to watch. The basic plot is that Cong Rong is an aspiring lawyer who moves back to China from Australia, who after getting an internship, is assigned to work as a mediator (is that the word?) at a hospital, where she meets one of the surgeons, Wen Shaoqing. Unbeknownst to her, Wen Shaoqing is actually her friend from childhood.
The second couple is also cute too, and by the end, I was rooting for them exclusively. Zhou Cheng Cheng, who is Cong Rong's best friend, owns a restaurant, which is next door to a small bookstore owned by Wen Shaoqing's uncle, Wen Rang. I thought their dynamic was absolutely great, although I wish they had gotten together sooner in the drama. In particular, I loved how willing they were to help each other with their individual businesses. I really like enemies -> friends -> lovers plots, and so thats why I think I particularly liked this couple.
I did not pay much attention to the OST, but I don't usually unless I happen to like the artist singing it.
This drama as a whole doesn't have much in terms of rewatch value. I think I'd rewatch just for the cute moments between Wen Shaoqing and Cong Rong, but I'd likely skip stuff unrelated to them.
Overall, I'd give this drama an 8/10, mainly for the somewhat lack of plot. The score is saved, however, by the actors/characters, as well as the really cute and romantic moments between both couples.

A perfect drama.
Crash Landing On You was the second drama I ever watched, and even being the second drama I watched, it easily one of the best one I've watched. Please note that my review does contain a lot of spoilers/a lot of plot details, so I advise you not read this unless you have finished CLOY.The characters were the best part of this drama, and each role was so perfectly casted. Ri Jeonghyeok and his squad of men in particular made this drama so sweet. They became a family for each other, and they gladly included Seri in this family. Additionally, every little side character felt so important and necessary, such as the village women where Jeonghyeok lives, the people who work for Seri at her company, etc. Speaking of Jeonghyeok's squad, I love them so much. I love how they feel when they find Seri's choice in North Korea and are proud to hear it's a best seller. I love how they are ride or die for Seri and Jeonghyeok.
Seri's character development is great. She starts off as a rather cold, workaholic. Jeonghyeok, as well as her time in North Korea, changes her for the better, she becomes a warmer person, she starts finding things in life that make her happy. Speaking of Seri being a warm person, I still smile thinking about the limited edition items she makes that have the North Korean Village Women's faces on them. Even though she had no idea if they would ever make it to them, it truly shows just how much she changed as a person. She truly wanted to show her love and appreciation for them. She even names that line of products 'saudade', which is a word to express a feeling of longing and nostalgia.
Ri Jeonghyeok is maybe the sweetest male lead I've seen in a drama? I still get teary eyed thinking of him holding up the scented candle for Seri as he searches for her in the market, or her face when she sees him in the middle of Gangnam. He truly cares so deeply for Seri, and that's so evident in the texts he programs to be sent for a year after he leaves (and the fact that he recorded his song on the piano for her so she could always listen to it... so cute).
I don't really pay attention to OST's much unless I happen to like the artist who sings it. CLOY changed that for me, in particular with the piano piece 'The Song For My Brother'. Despite not having a single word in it, it brings me to tears. It's so raw, and you can feel the grief and rawness in the notes. That song in particular is my fav OST song. I love how it was intertwined into the plot as well.
I personally didn't care much for the relationship between Seo Dan and Goo Seunjun, but not because it was poorly written/bad, but the story was already filled with so much of Seri/Jeonghyeok, that their relationship felt kind of unnecessary to the story. I did think they were cute, but their ending makes me sad.
I'm curious about the last scene in CLOY. I don't think Seri or Jeonghyeok permanently moved to Switzerland, since Seri's company is based in South Korea, and I'm not sure if Jeonghyeok could even move out of North Korea. Is that house one they have for when they are in Switzerland? Or am I wrong and did they move to Switzerland?
I give Crash Landing on You a 10/10.

Started strong but ended poorly
I absolutely adored this drama up until about 10 episodes from the end.The show really excelled in the soft romantic moments between Tao Le Si and Lu Tian Xing/Xiao Lu, especially during that one episode where he gets sick, and she comes to take care of him on her birthday. He surprises her with a birthday cake and they celebrate together, and it's legitimately one of my favorite moments in any drama I've ever watched. I could've watched 50 episodes of just Lu Tian Xing/Xiao Lu and Tao Le Si being cute. But then, the reveal that Xiao Lu was Lu Tian Xing happened.
Obviously, at some point, the fact that he was pretending to be Xiao Lu had to come out, and I'm not frustrated that Tao Le Si found out, it's the way the show's story completely shift after the fact. What started as a comedic show, with really soft, romantic moments, as mentioned prior, became a melodrama, to the point where it felt like I was watching an entirely different show. The whole plotline with Huan Huan at the end ruined the show for me. I feel like the writers didn't know what to do with the characters once the reveal happened, so they just stuck them into this weird scenario. The company burning down? Lu Tian Xing being manipulated into marrying Huan Huan? The fact that Huan Huan had to use a wheelchair after falling off a hill (that incline was legitimately a hill it was not a cliff like they said it was)?
The actors were fine. I especially loved Aaron Yan, who plays Lu Tian Xing. I thought he did well playing two contrasting characters.
The only rewatch value this drama has is for the first half, prior to the reveal that Lu Tian Xing was Xiao Lu. I've honestly gone back and watched some of my favorite moments. Anything after the reveal I've completely ignored.
Overall, I'd give this drama a 5.5/10. It gets 5 points off for the poor writing after the reveal, but half a point back for the cute moments in the first half I loved.
