Welcome!

I am pretty good at starting dramas and I will get really into them, but then I’ll get distracted and never finish them. It’s definitely a problem. I have lots and lots of dramas that are “on-hold”, and barely any that are “completed”. 

Starting around late 2019, I started getting into watching drama with strong female characters. I don’t like to watch dramas that are, well, dramatic, or have a lot of tragic scenes. That’s kind of hard to avoid in many of the historical/period dramas I watch. My favorite drama is funny and has romance. I really liked Pretty Li Huizhen and Radiant Office. My favorite Taiwanese drama is probably It Started With a Kiss. It was one of the first Taiwanese dramas I ever saw and it’s easy to understand without subtitles. I really liked Hi! My Sweetheart/海派甜心 when I first watched it, but I cringe now when I think of it.

My hobbies are FaceTiming with my parrot, Fred, keeping up with the latest astronomy news, checking Weibo/微博, writing letters to my friends abroad, and using fun Zoom backgrounds.
