I was looking for something cute and light, and it delivered in that department. It's nice to watch this if you just finished something super heavy (I had just finished watching Ashes of Love) and wanted to take a break from emotional turmoil. However, although I liked the originality of this storyline and that the main characters were cute together, I couldn't help but remind myself just how unrealistic this drama is and how most everything is delivered with a bowtie. What I liked the least about this drama was how little actual character development there was for every. single. character. EXCEPT for the main female "antagonist" who honestly was just there for plot development and instigating random conflicts. And even then, saying she truly developed as a character is a stretch.

In particular, the main female and male characters were the least exciting to watch. Yes, they were cute when they engaged in skinship, but the actual connection between them didn't feel authentic. Their acting didn't help their cause either as they were both stiff and didn't emote their feelings beyond puppy love and infatuation. However, I did really enjoy watching the friendships between the characters as those felt the most genuine.

I came into this drama with extremely high expectations (given the high rating and other reviews). However, I felt I would be doing some a disservice without pointing out that you should only watch this IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIGHT, CUTE, AND NOT WITH MUCH SUBSTANCE OR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. If that's what you're looking for, then I am sure you'll enjoy this drama.

Side Note: This is just my personal opinion--I've read reviews in the past where viewers absolutely hated the drama, but I loved it.... so you never know until you watch it yourself. (: Happy drama-ing!
