Story/Plot: The flow of the story, in the beginning, was boring. But it was a necessary foundation to create character backgrounds. So don't give up on it. After maybe 6 episodes, everything started to kick in and heaps of anticipations followed. It didn't revolve around one main pairing but rather a lot of other love lines within the drama. Which was very nice and you obviously get the happy endings and the not-so-happy endings.
It's a fantasy drama. Beautiful CG, I lose track of the subtitles after staring at the beautiful scenes (Same director as love O2O btw). Magically. Lots of hand flicking. And clothes disappearing :winks:
Acting/Cast: So the description did say the love is throughout 3 lives so they had to act out different personalities. Yang Mi in my opinion, did extremely well portraying an innocent little fella, a pure-hearted mortal girl and a fierce, well-respected Goddess. Though some of her intimate scenes were awkward and forceful. Mark also portrayed different roles but their personalities were pretty similar so I couldn't see his different sides. But he's a hell of a good kisser ;) :winks:
Music: Songs were specifically written for the drama so you get the chance, read the translation. It's so relevant to the story and literally every time you listen, parts of the drama follow and you'll crave to rewatch the whole thing all over again.
Rewatch?: Heck yeah. But probably going to skip irrelevant stuff.
Overall: Mainland dramas are sometimes very annoying because they include a lot of unnecessary talking and fighting scenes. I skipped a lot but it didn't seem to affect my overall experience with the drama. I'm also annoyed at how they keep using the same female voice actor for most of their dramas. It somewhat hindered me from feeling the acting and emotions from the actors/actresses.
