The perfect first love story.
This drama is an absolute gem and a perfect introduction to BL for those who haven't watched any before. The storyline is light and follows the classic childhood friends-turned-lovers plot, making for a very innocent and heartwarming high school love story. The lack of major conflict between the main characters, Kakeru and Yamato, is refreshing and the few misunderstandings that do occur are due to unspoken feelings, which is a common theme in Japanese BL series. What I appreciate most about this drama is that there is no pressure or force of feelings in either of the characters. Yamato has been concealing his feelings and is not pressuring Kakeru to accept his feelings, while Kakeru is trying to figure out his own feelings at his own pace. The cinematography and choice of filming locations are also excellent, portraying the magic of love in various ways, with sparks flying whenever the characters express their feelings for each other.
The actors, Maeda Kentaro and Kashiwagi Haru, who play Yamato and Kakeru respectively, are both exceptional in their roles. Maeda Kentaro brings out Yamato's cool, perfect-all-rounder vibes, and his eyes are simply mesmerizing. Kashiwagi Haru, despite his young age, perfectly portrays Kakeru's shy, cheerful, and friendly character, making it hard to believe that he was born in 2005. Overall, this drama is a must-watch for anyone who loves a heartwarming love story.

the title literally says
omg! i realized the title of this drama is very clever! the weatherman really waits for the right weather to engage into his lover. i love his consideration of one simple comment by his lover although i always don't like to see a misunderstanding turns into a big deal but this misunderstanding is literally soooo cute! always love a good character development of the character from the beginning towards the end. both on their live and their love. this is red flag turns green flag that can be enjoyed in light hearted mindsetConsiderați utilă această recenzie?

there's not enough words to describe this drama
i have never cried this much in every episode on any drama. everything about this drama is perfect. if someone ever think that the plot are dragged too long i dont think that they get the meaning of accepting a grief.the story writting is excellent. there's nothing to complain about. the story is very much a simple sad love story it dont need any uneccesary plot twist so it's perfect.
the acting!!!!!! ren meguro definitely the star of the show. he take down the role very smoothly. my heart is aching everytime a sad scene is on. he dont need word to make me believe that he's sad. by only looking at his eyes i can feel every emotion he's trying to potray.

Criminal Investigation with bromance
yes, i said bromance. if you are looking for lovey dovey or atleast romance in this drama you will not find in this series. The story is truly delightful because it is well-crafted and engaging. Despite not having much exposure to Japanese criminal drama, I found this particular story to be thoroughly enjoyable. The foundation of the plot is meaningful and well-executed, and the added element of mystery adds an exciting twist to the drama, keeping the audience intrigued and invested in the storyline.
As for the production, I appreciate the variety of setups and locations used to complement the story. However, I believe there is potential for further improvement to fully satisfy my perspective. This could involve enhancing the visual elements, refining the cinematography, or exploring additional creative techniques to elevate the overall production quality.
The cast is exceptional, with each member delivering an exquisite performance. When I say the cast is exceptional, I mean that each actor brings a high level of skill and talent to their performance. Their portrayal of the characters is not only convincing but also captivating, drawing the audience into the story. The word "exquisite" emphasizes the exceptional quality of their acting, suggesting that their performances are not just good, but truly outstanding and finely crafted. This demonstrates the depth of their abilities and their dedication to their roles, which ultimately enhances the overall quality of the production.

if you come for the title...
you'll probably will satisfied. The sexual scenes in the story are intense and captivating, and the kiss scenes are particularly well-written. However, the overall plot and character development are lacking. The story feels dull and predictable, with no significant changes or growth in the characters. While the story was enjoyable, it didn't have a lasting impact or evoke strong emotions. It didn't leave a lasting impression or move me in any meaningful way. the movie may not have a mature or sophisticated storyline, but it contains content that is not safe for work (NSFW). This could mean that the film includes explicit or inappropriate material that may not be suitable for viewing in a professional or public setting. It's possible that the movie may focus more on sensational or explicit content rather than a complex or thought-provoking narrative.

A wholesome story
This drama revolves around the story of Mamoru, a reclusive self-made manga artist, and Issei, a vibrant idol. The storyline is highly engaging and keeps the audience captivated. However, as it is adapted from a manga, there are certain segments that feel rushed and would benefit from further elaboration. Nonetheless, the overall narrative remains comprehensible. An additional conflict adds depth to the plot, providing a platform for the main characters to develop a deeper understanding of each other.
The characters are intriguing and well-crafted. Mamoru's portrayal as a manga artist is particularly unique and captivating.
Initially, I had reservations about the casting of Issei, as the manga depicts him as tall and broad-shouldered. However, Nakao Misai's portrayal of Issei pleasantly surprised me. Matsuoka Koudai's performance as Mamoru is commendable and aligns well with the character's persona.
The production quality is exceptional, with a diverse range of locations and scenery that reflect a high production standard. The depiction of large audience scenes, essential to the characters' professions, is executed with finesse.
A standout performance in the drama is delivered by Yahagi Honoka, whose portrayal of Yamada exceeds the expectations set by the manga.
Overall, the drama successfully brings the characters and story to life, making it a compelling watch.

Their flag is so green that it can stop global warming
30 year old virgin, Adachi is having a panic attack because suddenly he can hear other people mind. that's how he find out that his co-worker Kurosawa has a crush on him.The story is captivating. I appreciate how it deviates from the typical "office-affair" narrative, featuring two contrasting individuals with mutual attraction. The infusion of the "30-year-old virgin magic" adds an imaginative element, enriching the story with vibrant hues. However, the fictional aspect does not overshadow the realistic portrayal of relationships. Both characters evolve in tandem, and the "magic" serves to amplify their realization that true enchantment lies within their feelings for each other.
Both actors deliver exceptional performances in their respective roles. Machida Keita, portraying the character Kurosawa Yuichi, embodies the good-looking, capable, and kind-hearted nature of his character with perfection. Similarly, Akaso Eiji, in the role of Adachi Kiyoshi, effectively portrays a shy and low self-esteem character, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. Eiji's emotional performance, particularly in one of the episodes where he cried, moved me to tears and left a profound impact with his heartfelt portrayal that words cannot fully describe.
In terms of production, I appreciate the diverse range of settings utilized in the show. It's evident that the production team put considerable thought into this aspect. The framing also effectively complements the overall atmosphere of the story. However, I do wish there was an editing technique that could more explicitly convey to the audience when Adachi is reading other people's minds, as I occasionally missed these moments and had to rewatch certain scenes.
as for the OST i have a very selfish opinion. it's good but it doesn't make me go instantly to spotify to look for it and add the song to my favorite list. However the music in the background that accompanying the scenes is good. very contributing in the feeling of the scenes.
Rewatch value 10, even the thought of rewatching this makes me giddy :)
Overall this drama is very good BL and i really support it

i tried so hard to not be biased but
Having delved into both the manga and anime, I feel justified in expressing my viewpoints. Despite my earnest efforts to appreciate this drama, regrettably, my hopes were dashed due to excessively lofty expectations. Primarily, the substandard quality of production came as a surprising letdown. It's truly baffling that the anime/manga production entity would endorse such a meagerly funded project. Whether this stems from financial limitations or sheer negligence on the part of the scriptwriters and producers remains uncertain. Given the existing manga and anime as a blueprint, the alterations in the narrative and the evident lack of meticulousness seem outright disrespectful to the original creations. The ensemble cast could have been more judiciously selected. I don't intend to be overly critical, but although the cast's performances are passable, not all of them seem apt for their respective roles. The character of Izumi, meant to embody a blend of beauty, clumsiness, innocence, and grace, falls short in the portrayal by the actor. His demeanor leans too heavily towards masculinity, with lackluster facial expressions that occasionally veer into inappropriateness. And the depiction of Ryoma is a whole other debacle. The actor's appearance is less than appealing, and his interpretation is cringeworthy, completely distorting Ryoma's essence. There's much more I could articulate, but the frustration almost renders it inexpressible. The sole character that evoked reminiscences of the anime/manga was Shogo, solely due to the actor's adept capture of his speech patterns and demeanor. I relinquished viewing midway through, compelled to persevere till the end. Such is the profound disappointment this production embodies.

The story have a solid foundation, with compelling characters and an intriguing premise. However,
it seems as though the screenwriter failed to fully realize the potential of the story's trajectory. The plot points and character development are not fully explored, leaving the audience wanting more depth and complexity. With a more thorough execution of the story's arc, the narrative could have been more engaging and impactful. The production value of the scenes left much to be desired. The settings often felt lackluster and uninspired, with a noticeable repetition of the same stage to represent various locations within the story. Additionally, the use of random locations to convey specific settings did not effectively immerse the audience in the narrative. Furthermore, the excessive reliance on flashbacks did not contribute meaningfully to the audience's understanding of the characters' stories, and instead, felt disjointed and distracting. As a result, the overall visual and storytelling impact of the production was diminished, leaving the audience feeling disconnected from the characters and their experiences.
very problematic underage scenes. honestly i couldn't bare my self to watch the episodes where the 2 main character that were still underage did such thing. and it really bothers me that they really use a real life 15 years old kid to play that.
i give my apreciation for Yuki as this is his 1st drama debut. he potraying the character nicely. a bit stiff here and there but none of them are giving "bad acting" vibe.

beautiful!
This movie follows the journey of Mitsuomi, who decides to leave his office job in bustling Tokyo and return to his hometown. Upon his arrival, he encounters the warm and friendly Yamato, whose bright personality leaves a lasting impression. The storyline is light and enjoyable, offering a well-thought-out plot that leaves a heartwarming impact. Unlike many films, it doesn't rely on unnecessary sex scenes to captivate viewers. Instead, it beautifully portrays the tale of two individuals seeking to mend their emotional scars and discover healing within themselves.

Unconsistent concept in writing. Saved by good actors
I appreciate the character development in the show, particularly Kaneda's gradual shift in perception of Jun from seeing her as a “deity” to recognizing her as a great “person”. However, I found the writing to be somewhat inconsistent, as it initially introduces compelling concepts about Kaneda “worships” to Jun but then I feel like the script writer just abandons the concept. This inconsistency detracts from the overall impact of the story and character development. In the first few episodes, the show provides a balanced perspective from each character's point of view. However, as the series progresses, the focus predominantly shifts to Kaneda's viewpoint, which limits the exploration of other characters' perspectives.
At first, I admire how the show avoids typical Japanese drama tropes like miscommunication and unspoken feelings. Instead, it presents a peak conflict that arises from external situations impacting the characters' lives. This approach adds depth to the characters and makes their struggles more relatable. However, I feel like it’s a more common problem at the few of the episodes.
Overall, while the show has its strengths in character development and avoiding typical drama tropes, it falls short in maintaining consistency in its writing and exploring the perspectives of all characters. Despite this, the show still manages to present compelling conflicts and relatable struggles, making it an enjoyable watch.

Love Rival, Literally
The love story itself follows a familiar trope of co-workers initially disliking each other, but as they are forced to work together, they discover each other's best qualities and gradually fall in love. The characters' professions add an adventurous element to the drama, making it more engaging. However, the conflicts in the love story are somewhat predictable, revolving around miscommunication, which is a common theme in Japanese dramas. While the overall drama is enjoyable, there are some areas that could be enhanced. The choice of background music in certain scenes does not always complement the characters' emotions, and the lack of variation in set design and scenery can make the drama feel monotonous.
Improving the script could prevent the love story from becoming mundane. Despite this, the drama remains engaging due to the characters' occupations. The acting performances are commendable, particularly Kimura Keito's portrayal of the shy, introverted, and kind Onoe, and Yamanaka Jyutaro's convincing portrayal of the kind-hearted bad boy, Motoharu.
The innocence of Onoe makes the scene at the hotel in the last episode feel somewhat unnecessary, but it does not detract significantly from the overall enjoyment of the drama. Overall, the drama is worth watching, especially for its well-executed character dynamics and engaging storyline.

The sky is falling but also WE
Face to face with the end of the world we can see how the world falling apart from the Main lead Masumi even before the world actually fall apart. The hopelessness in his eyes are align with his without pants body as he threw himself into the bed staring at the ceiling feeling a lot of emotions at once. I love how the actor is laughing in despair. He really portrait the hopelessness to the T.I love the transition between the past memories and the presents time. The cinematography shows the scenery align with the feeling the characters Projecting.
For the Story i gave it 8,5 out of 10 Because it's somewhat original i haven't encounter the same story in BL and it's enjoyable however idk maybe because it's in Japan so people doesn't get that much chaotic but i think it'll be more realistic if the environment more chaos because it is the end of the world.
for the acting i give a 10 out of 10 for the Actor who plays Masumi. OMG he portrayed happiness, sorrow, guilt, hopelessness, love, will and courage with perfection! even his face during 'that' is convincing.
The kisses, i love how it's not just a peck or an 'angle kiss' it's real and feels real. and the 'encounter beyond just kisses' are a cherry on top to end the series.

This series have another color to the story
At first, i want to review each episode after i watch it immediately. However, after watching the 3rd episode i couldn't gather my will power to stop watching and review it. Instead, i keep going from the 4th episode until finish. This week i watch a few different series back to back. So when i watched the 1st episode I thought it will be another generic love story where the main characters are the opposite of each other. One is popular and chatty and the other are gloomy and quiet. But the storey give a twist at the 2nd episode which makes me wonder for the rest of the story.
I like this series because it gives another eye opener story to me.
This is a story where you know it'll be a bit of sad ending but also makes you want to watch the rest of the story. (note: i'm not a fan of sad ending)
Both the main character reminds me that they're can change. Koichi is very bright and always put others before him also he tends to bring himself to cheer others even when he's not. but at the end of the story he changed. he realized that he can have a variety of emotions. and Oumi also changed. he relized he can be a warmth to someone and he can stop building walls around him.
my selfish opinion for this series : if this series has a happy ending i'd give it 9 stars for sure

the luckiest unlucky person
The story revolves around two characters, Fukuhara and Shinomiya. Initially, Fukuhara is portrayed as a manipulative and "unlucky" person who seems to benefit from being around Shinomiya. However, it becomes clear that some of Fukuhara's misfortunes are due to his own clumsiness and lack of communication skills. Shinomiya, on the other hand, is seen as a lucky and caring individual who is drawn to Fukuhara's lively personality.Fukuhara's abrupt love confession to Shinomiya is initially seen as self-serving, but it becomes evident that Shinomiya has genuine feelings for Fukuhara. Despite this, Fukuhara continues to take advantage of Shinomiya's feelings and luck without showing appreciation. However, as the story progresses, Fukuhara begins to realize the sincerity of Shinomiya's feelings and gradually falls for him, showing remorse for his past actions.
In episode 5, Fukuhara starts acknowledging his feelings for Shinomiya and becomes more protective of him, standing up to those who try to take advantage of Shinomiya's luck. Ultimately, the two characters have an honest conversation, leading to a new beginning in their relationship based on honesty and courage.
