Hello, nice to meet you! I am a JDrama fanatic! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Japan. When I visited a couple of years ago I fell in love with that wonderful country and the awesome people. I am going back soon, hopefully to live for a while.

I want to watch so many JDramas that I've read about but unfortunately, I can't find them on the internet. Japan's copyright laws are very strict so a lot of the really good movies aren't available in the US - what a shame. :(

 My favorite Japanese film genre is jidaigeki - yes, I love those samurai flicks with classic film stars like  Ichikawa Raizo, Yorozuya Kinnosuke, Nakadai Tetsuya, and Tamba Tetsuro, etc. to  modern day samurai flicks like The Hidden Blade, When the Last Sword Is Drawn, 13 Assassins and many others.  I have a collection of the Lone Wolf and Cub series with Yorozuya Kinnosuke. I also have a collection of the Shinobi No Mono series with Ichikawa Raizo. I love the Nemuri Kyoshiro collection, too.  

My favorite modern day stars are: Tsumabuki Satoshi, Ikuta Toma, Oguri Shun, Ayano Go, Hiyashi Kento , Kitagawa Keiko and so many others.
