This is my second J Drama, and after watching it i felt like writing a review on it.
first of all, something I've noticed ( and the main reason i don't watch J Drama's ) is that there is a big difference between the quality of their movies and drama's. i feel the video quality is so much better in Japanese movies.
anyways, Asuko March is one of those drama's where each episode has its own story. The female lead basically attempts to solve everyone else' problems, and is more or less successful. Don't get me wrong, i love Takei Emi, and she's the reason i even started this drama. But i got to admit that some scenes were way too unrealistic and even cheesy.
The cast was good, i think they might have gone out of their way to make the actors unattractive. lol This is of course not a bad thing, because i don't think its possible to look your best when you are covered with dust and grease. Plus this is not supposed to be your typical flower boy drama.
Last, but not least, be prepared for second lead syndrome to slap you hard on the face. Romance might not play the biggest role in Asuko March, but its still there.
I hope my review doesn't sound all that negative ( or does it?) but if you were wondering if you should watch it or not, i say, give it a go. i definitely was not bored with this one. Although, i won't lie that i loved it, i think its safe to say that i liked it. :)
