Addicted was so popular in China that the government BANNED not only the show from airing its episodes but BANNED THE TWO MAIN ACTORS FROM BEING SEEN TOGETHER IN PUBLIC. Addicted was breaking records in China as a web series with its millions of views when compared to China's usual TV programming at that time.
