5 episodes too long

the show had so much going for it. great acting, mood, music, pace, everything on point. but they should have just told it in 5-6 episodes. everything just going around in circles, characters that just cant ‘ talk ‘ to each other, to the point of being annoying & dumb.

i managed to finish it but disengaged, passive viewing after episode 5, watching only for the acting. they over complicated the show & characters - from the father, daughter relationship, the mother & the other antagonists - just goes round and round. the throwback scenes were made for us to understand the characters, but really made them more annoying.

so much promise, let down by poor story telling & director
