Honestly, my opinion is probably contrarily BAD. I forced myself to finish this drama just because it was so ridiculous and stupid that I couldn't help wondering what 'dramatic plot twists' to expect next. I think this drama is the worst one I've seen by far. Let me point out why I disliked it so much. First - the story. Well, the plot isn't so extraordinary. Of course, being simple and not very original doesn't mean being bad. However, in this case, the scriptwriters decided to create a tearjerker based on the emotional impact rather than a dynamically developed story. This attempt was, well, pretty much a failure. Every single episode consists of boring, pointless dialogues, loooooong boring landscape shots with sad music playing in the background. If you wanna make a simple yet emotional story, then the other aspects should be decent (such as the acting and CHARACTERS). Guess what? It's a failure again. Why exactly? The main characters possess no personalities at all. I mean, Mika is an average girl with a typical inferiority complex. Hiro is no better. His feelings for the main lead make no sense. The explanation behind how he developed his love for Mika is really unrealistic. What's more, their relationship progresses way too fast. The couple barely knew each other when they had ridiculously far-fetched plans for the future. Oh, and the villain! A stereotypical one, that is! Why is it that there is always this jealousy thing in school j-dramas?... The worst thing was how the villain acted at the end of the drama. Again, it was pointless and utterly illogical, as much as everything else in Koizora. As for the acting, while watching it I realised the problem with many j-dramas. I don't know why the trend is that actors behave so over-emotionally. They seem really fake. I haven't seen such acting in k-dramas at all, so maybe it's a j-drama thing. The actors didn't make me like the characters more. In fact, I couldn't care less about them. If I were to point out an advantage of this drama, it would be music. It's nothing special, but still good enough. There is a pretty nice song playing often throughout the drama. So if you ask me for advantages, that's it. I do not recommend this drama. The worst factors are the characters and the overall brainwashing I underwent while watching it. Nothing makes sense in Koizora. If I were to shed a tear while watching this sad love story, it would be a tear of my blood. Sorry. I'm so cruel. Ah, one more thing - this story was supposedly based on real events. Seriously? Don't make me laugh...
