As a fan-even fanatic,lol-of Crime/serial killer Dramas and movies i cannot recall any other time with any other Drama using the word boring to describe it.
Voice is the first one and honestly i didn't expect to be like that.
I know the Voice Franchise is very popular and i have bookmarked all seasons ,including the 5th future one.


I started watching it over a year and a half ago.Yes,you read right.I watched the first episode back then and i clearly remember that i dropped it afterwards.Don't ask me why,i really don't know.All i know is that i was too excited about this series because back then already 3 Seasons had been released so i thought it was great to have so many episodes available to watch and satisfy my lust for crime Dramas.

A few months passed by and i decided to give it another try.I even watched the 1st ep again to catch up.I could managed to watch 3 eps in total until i dropped it one more time.And after almost half a year I ,yes,decided to continue watch it.Iam way too stubborn, i really wanted to find even a tiny detail to excite me about Voice.
Long story short,the last time i tried to watch was last August and i finally finished the 1st Season just today...

The things i liked:
Jang Hyuk's acting.Great and natural.Believable as a fiercy and stubborn detective,driven by his personal revenge to find his wife's murderer.
Kim Jae Wook has the perfect cold look for a psychopath,an excellent choice for this role and great acting as well.The fact that he is so handsome and sexy didn't really help to hate his char!
Ok here ends the list with the things i liked.

What i didn't like??Oh,so many i don't know where to start.

Ml is ALWAYS angry with EVERYTHING,most of the time with No reason at all.He swears and curses to justify his mad-dog title!This is how his role is written,ok i get it.But WHY?Even when he is sad or frustrated, anger overlaps any other feeling.I was like "cool down a bit,please!"

FL:A detective with a great gift.An excellent hearing helps her to solve cases,find clues and suspects.Also seeks revenge for her father's death.An interesting idea and a more interesting role.Maybe in some other's actress hands this role it could be a success to me.

Passionless acting ending up to ruin the char and eventually make it hypotonic.
This char suppose to be on speed all the time,because every second matters in every crime case.But no...
The way she talks,she walks, she acts..I felt everything was in slow motion every time she was on screen.!I was screaming "please add some fire!put some energy and passion,make me believe you do believe all that you say and do"She always had that dull expression on her face. Even if the world set up on fire infront of her eyes,her reaction would be the same!The wailing tone of her voice like she was in a continuous mourning.Her heavy breathing...Ughh all these,really got into my nerves.

I was waiting for some character development.Or for some unexpected twist.Or for more dark and evil villains.Or for more skilled and efficient detectives.I don't know why i had my hopes so high here...

As for the story,it may be interesting in theory but the execution was poor and many times bad as well.I will not complain about plot holes.I lowered my standards in order to be able to watch and finish this.

I also won't complain about police inadequacy or cops drinking during duty(!!)I know this is a standard portrayal in Kdramas.Corruption,dirty politicians and rich businessmen having the top brass at their payroll.Yes,all so typical!

But the main story and the side crime cases...seriously how can a crime case can be sooooo boring?Few were interesting, but overall i was seriously bored not only about the cases but mostly about the procedure police had to follow to collect evidence,find clues and catch the culprit.
And what annoyed me the most was the fact that in every case everything is forced to fit the Fl's ability(her super hearing)I wish someone could explain me how she was able to find out the culprit's height while he was just walking outside her door.I guess this detail will stuck in my head forever as an "unsolved mystery"Whatever...

Also Mr Writer it would be really kind and polite of you if you had given us the reason or the cause how and why the Fl acquired her super power.Thank you!

I overlooked so many details.In good will i excused the lame behavior of the police officers.The stupidity level,unfortunately,was too high.I wanted to like at least one character.Didn't care much if was in the good or the bad side.I trully wanted to like this Drama.I forced myself alot about so many lame and unrealistic details.

As for the rest Seasons i will watch the first ep of each.If still cannot find any interest at all i will delete everything and never look back!
