Hi, my name is Tonje, and I'm a drama addict.

I first discovered the Wonderful World of Asian Dramas back in 2006, when I stumbled across the live action version of Hana Yori Dango. Having already seen the anime, I was intrigued by the thought of watching all my favorite characters come to life on my screen, and I was not disappointed.

Through watching Asian dramas I developed an interest in Asian languages and culture - especially Japanese - and ended up majoring in Japanese language in university. Through my home university I was lucky enough to get the chance to spend sixteen glorious months studying abroad in a small town in Chiba prefecture, which ended up being the best sixteen months of my life, so as cheesy at it might sound you can say that Asian dramas changed my life.
