I've been watching dramas since 2000.  Here are my very first drama in each country.

Thai:  Ban Saithong (2000)

Korean:  Autumn in My Heart (2000)

Taiwanese:  Meteor Garden (2001)

Chinese:  Scarlet Heart (2011)

Turkish:  Ask Laftan Anlamaz (2016)

Indian:  Geet (2010)

American:  One Tree Hill (2003)  -->this is the only show that I did not finished since it went up to season 9.  I stopped on season 7.

I enjoyed each country differently.  

Thai are experts in slap/kiss.  

Korean are experts in rom com, politics,  and actions.

Taiwanese are experts on going above and beyond the silliness of their characters.

Chinese are experts on fantasies, actions, and romance.

I don't watch enough Turkey and Indian shows to know what they fit into but the ones I've seen so far, it's been all over the place.  So props to both countries.

American are experts of not ending a show, EVER!  When they do end a show, they leave a very bad ending or a suspense ending like another season is coming.  BOO!
