I was looking forward to this series after watching Bonnie's incredible performance in 'High School Frenemy' as Peeta. She slayed that role to perfection and won me over, even if I was not satisfied with the resolution of her side of the story. If she were given enough screen time, she would have been even greater. She is definitely a natural and a very talented actress.

First impression after watching the official trailer of 'Us' and the special episode of 'The Story Of Us':

Both the official trailer and the special episode where the entire cast spoke about the series, their roles and their challenges, were very good. Though love at first sight and love triangles are not something that I usually like watching, I was willing to give this one a chance, as the plot seemed to be complex with familial bonds, friendships and emotions without being toxic.

First impression after watching the first episode:

Bonnie's role as Dokrak is very sweet. Emi equally shines in her role as Pam, who is cool as an ice princess on the outside while being soft on the inside. They truly have great chemistry which is amazing to watch. Sing as Kawi is also perfect for the role of Dokrak's brother who falls in love with Pam. We get introduced to some of the other characters as well. The entry of Mim as Nene at the end of the episode was quite surprising. I wasn't expecting that twist. I was intruiged and it left me eager for what's to come next. Speaking of Mim, I'm waiting to watch ViewMim chemistry for the first time.

The first episode was a great start to the series. After Pluto's success, I really hope that this GL series also moves my heart and becomes one of my favorites.
