Trauma Follows a Person Long after the Event
Juvenile Justice was worth my snowy Saturday and Sunday! I've watched a ridiculous amount of kdramas (I don't even track them all here), and we often see delinquents slip by with minimal consequences. Not this time! FL was relentless in seeking justice for victims. I appreciate the balance of ML having a heart for rehabilitation and mentoring the kids and FL advocating for maximum penalties against violent and repeat offenders. This difference made for fascinating interactions between the two. The drama depicts how trauma can shape people's perspectives, responses, and motivations on both sides of the bench.
10 episodes was the perfect amount. Any more and it would've been overwhelming. I recommend this drama to anyone who enjoys the legal/crime genre. Because the subject matter is quite heavy, I personally wouldn't watch it again. I just don't want back on the emotional roller coaster. If you like that kind of thing, then I'd say the rewatch value is quite high!
