Well, after lurking for a while I finally made an account on MDL after falling in love with Immortal Samsara. 

My journey into CDrama started October 2021 when I randomly started watching Princess Weiyoung on Netflix. Then it spiraled into obsessive drama watching from there. My favorite genre is xianxia, then historical/costume dramas. My least favorite is modern but I’ll watch it if one of my favorite actors/actresses are in it!

I originally started out watching TVB/HK dramas in the 90s/00s because of my parents and look how much I’ve grown! I’m 80% able to follow Cantonese shows though I haven’t watched any for decades. After almost a year of watching shows in Mandarin, I’m proud to say I can get a 40-50% gist of the dialogue! I’m proud of myself…yay personal growth!
